• Talot transformed into a Super Saiyan again and explained that gathering power at the center of the back, together with S-Cells, was key to the transformation; Raditz failed to awaken it.

• Yamcha challenged Lucifer and Krillin challenged Ashura, but both were badly beaten and lost consciousness.
• Lucifer captured Son Goku in a brutal assault while Bulma, Launch, Oolong, and Puar watched from captivity.
• Raditz arrived, killed Lucifer and Ashura, and told Goku to learn from his use of power.
• Talot freed Bulma and the others as Garlic Jr. and his three subordinates appeared and tried to recruit Raditz.

After the Twenty-First World Martial Arts Tournament, Talot learned from Namek's Grand Elder that Slug had returned to Namek seeking the Dragon Balls and went there with Selari, Raditz, and Bulma. The Saiyans and Namekian warriors wiped out most of Slug's forces, and Selari began fighting Slug himself.

• Son Goku lost to Master Roshi, disguised as Jackie Chun, in the final match of the Twenty-First World Martial Arts Tournament.
• Namek's Grand Elder contacted Talot to warn him that Slug was heading to Namek for the Dragon Balls, and Talot agreed to help.
• Talot brought Raditz, Selari, and Bulma to Namek, where Lagar and Nail prepared the Namekian warriors to resist Slug's invasion.
• Slug's army arrived, covered Namek in black mist, and attacked the Namekians and Talot's group.

• Selari struck Slug with her Purple Light Cannon, but he emerged unharmed and attacked her head-on.

• Selari survived Slug’s energy blasts and defeated his renewed attacks, then struck him with the Purple Light Dawn Blast, leaving him badly injured but alive.
• The Grand Elder explained that Slug could sacrifice his remaining lifespan to return to his youthful peak, and Slug transformed with 10 million Battle Power.

• North Kai watched Selari's battle with Slug and worried that Slug's restored youth had made him too powerful for her.
• Selari pushed Slug back with Kaio-ken x20, but he unleashed Negative Energy that doubled his strength and knocked her out of the fight.
• The Grand Elder explained that overusing the Namekians' inherited Dragon God abilities produced dangerous Negative Energy, and Talot went to confront Slug.
• Talot rescued the injured Selari, healed her with a Senzu Bean, and fought Slug using Human-Form Great Ape Power.
• Talot increased his power with Kaio-ken x2 and destroyed Slug with his Royal Flush attack.

After defeating Slug, Talot was nearly possessed by the lingering Negative Energy, but his Super Saiyan power expelled and destroyed it. Back on Earth, he decided to seek Super Divine Water to help Selari and Raditz grow stronger, and North Kai revealed the spring’s origin before Talot went to retrieve it.

• After Slug died, Negative Energy attacked Talot and invaded his body, but Talot transformed into a Super Saiyan, expelled it, and purified it with positive energy.
• Talot’s battle power permanently rose to 110,000,000, and the Grand Elder chose to restore Namek through the Namekians’ own efforts rather than use the Dragon Balls.

• North Kai approved Talot’s attempt to take the Super Divine Water and warned him about its danger.
• Talot reached the Ice Cave beneath the South Pole, evaded the Snowstorm Giant, and entered the darkness to confront the person he most wanted to see.
• The darkness summoned Bardock’s spirit, controlled him, and attacked Talot while using his body as a potential vessel.
• Talot transformed into a Super Saiyan and drove the darkness out of Bardock’s spirit, then sent mental power into Bardock before he vanished.
• The Guardian explained that the Divine Spring enabled the darkness to summon spirits across time, and Talot spared the weakened entity after questioning it.

Bardock remembered meeting the future Talot in a dream and decided to leave Planet Plant to return to his own era, though he first needed to find a working spaceship. Meanwhile, Talot discovered Majin Buu’s sealed Demon Egg beneath the Super Divine Water spring and began drinking the water to strengthen himself.

• Bardock recalled the future Talot telling him that thirteen years had passed and that his family was safe on Earth, and he resolved to find Namek Planet and return to his time.
• Bardock told Berry he planned to leave Planet Plant, then agreed to inspect the captured spaceships with him to see whether any still worked.
• Talot learned from the Guardian that the Super Divine Water spring concealed Majin Buu’s Demon Egg and that guarding the spring had been a cover for protecting it.

• Talot drank enough Super Divine Water to raise his Battle Power to 3.5 million, then brought Raditz and Selari to drink it as well.
• Raditz reached 1.2 million Battle Power and Selari reached 1.3 million before the three returned to Mount Paozu to meditate and control their new strength.
• Son Goku returned from Master Roshi's training and, after several days of challenging Talot, Raditz, and Selari, left Mount Paozu to begin his travels.

Talot, Selari, and Raditz returned to North Kai Planet and fought an intense sparring match that shook the Netherworld. After North Kai revealed that Grand Kai had invited them to Grand Kai Planet, Talot agreed to go after pursuing a new breakthrough beyond the Super Saiyan foundation.

• Talot accepted Bulma’s supplies for North Kai and promised to visit Bulma again before leaving Earth with Selari and Raditz.
• Talot, Selari, and Raditz sparred above Snake Way, and Selari and Raditz used Kaio-ken x20 against Talot’s Human Great Ape form before losing their final clash.

• Oliver unleashed more of his strength, and Talot escalated to Super Saiyan 1 Second Grade and fired his Ultimate Penetrating Cannon, which Oliver deflected.

When Raditz and Selari still could not become Super Saiyans, Talot concluded that their relentless effort might be keeping them from transforming and decided they should return to Earth to rest.

• Talot reunited with Raditz and Selari after his battle with Oliver, and North Kai warned them about the rivalry between the Kais and introduced Oliver as their guide.
• Talot, Selari, and Raditz toured Grand Kai Planet but chose to keep living in their portable house rather than the grave-like homes provided there.

After returning to West City, Talot received Bulma’s message that Tights and Jaco needed help on Natz Star, and he set out with Selari and Raditz.

• Talot and his companions traveled as ordinary people, visited South City, and spent a night together there; Talot and Selari became lovers.
• Bulma realized Talot and Selari had become a couple and argued with Selari, while Talot struggled to keep peace between them.
• During the rest of the journey, Talot encountered Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu, offering guidance to Krillin and Yamcha and pushing Tien Shinhan to train harder.
• After the group returned to West City, Talot, Selari, and Raditz resumed meditation and contemplation at Capsule Corp Manor.

Talot, Selari, Raditz, Bulma, Tights, and Jaco tracked the Saiyan who attacked the Galactic Prison to Losar Planet, where they found Turles cultivating the Tree of Might. Selari killed Turles and Amondo, and Talot, Selari, and Raditz began absorbing the Tree of Might’s fruit.

• Jaco explained that an unknown Saiyan had attacked the Natz Star prison and escaped with Amondo, so Talot contacted North Kai to locate him.
• North Kai identified the Saiyan as Turles and sent Talot the coordinates of Losar Planet, where Turles was growing a Tree of Might.
• Talot’s group arrived on Losar Planet and found its life force drained by the Tree of Might, whose ripe fruit Turles planned to use to increase his strength.
• Turles mistook Bulma, Tights, and Selari for Female Saiyans and threatened to claim them, so Selari revealed her overwhelming strength and killed him with a Destruction Beam.

Talot’s group harvested the Tree of Might’s fruit, shared it with their allies, and began training with its power. When North Kai revealed that Cooler was heading to Yardrat to learn Instant Transmission, Talot prepared to face him, leaving the chapter with the battle about half a month away.

• Bulma, Tights, and Jaco ate portions of the Fruit of the Tree of Might, while Talot warned Bulma that eating too much before absorbing its energy could kill her.

• Talot arrived on Yardrat, reassured Pybara and Pybama that he had come to stop Cooler, and agreed to fight while the Yardratians prepared to defend themselves.
• Cooler arrived, attacked Yardrat with an Energy Blast, and sent his forces down to seize the planet and obtain Instant Transmission.

• Zarbon told Frieza that Cooler had been killed by the Saiyan who had escaped years earlier, and Frieza decided to train to increase his strength.
• King Cold learned that Cooler and the Cooler Force had fallen, promoted Mosette, and ordered him to consolidate the Information Department, spy on Frieza, and mobilize hidden forces to defend Cooler’s territory.
