Talot: You are a Namekian

"Selari reminded me—neither of those two looks like an Earthling! I don't know who that dark-skinned one is, but the other seems familiar. He should be a Namekian, shouldn't he? What's he doing on Earth?" As Talot spoke, he seemed to let out a breath of relief.

He was not good at lying, but this was a lie he had to tell.

Talot's words startled Gine, while Selari opened her little mouth wide in curiosity.

"Are you sure, Talot? He's a Namekian?" Gine asked in return.

She could not help but immediately fall into deep thought.

If there were Namekians on Earth, that meant extraterrestrial forces had invaded Earth long ago. Then her Kakarot could be in danger...

When she saw Talot nod, Gine sucked in a sharp breath and began murmuring under her breath that Kakarot would be alright.

Selari did not think that deeply, but Talot noticed Gine's unease and anxiety. Realizing what she was worried about, he quickly said, "From what I know, Namekians should all possess extremely high Battle Power, at least enough to rival us Saiyans. But this Namekian is very weak. Besides, there are no stronger presences on Earth other than them... Could it be that, like Kakarot, this Namekian was sent to Earth as a child, which is why he's so weak?"

He offered an explanation, indirectly using his words to calm Gine down and keep her from panicking.

Only then did Gine come back to her senses.

It was true that they had not sensed any powerful presences, nor had the scouters detected any higher Battle Power readings.

So, Earth had not been invaded by high-Battle-Power Namekians.

The three continued discussing the matter.

More than ten meters away, on the other side.

Kami Piccolo and Popo's heartbeats kept accelerating.

Things had developed beyond their control. Now, Kami Piccolo had heard Talot's words through his extraordinary hearing, plunging him into his deepest memories.

Though he had been shocked that the visitors were a woman and two children, and intimidated by their overwhelming strength—

Nothing mattered more to him now than learning that his true identity was that of a Namekian.

I'm also a race from another world... a Namekian?! No wonder I look completely different from Earthlings! No wonder I had to endure so much hardship before being acknowledged as Earth's Kami! No wonder I waited all these years without my family ever coming for me! I, Earth's Kami, am actually an extraterrestrial being... Kami Piccolo's thoughts ran wild.

Beside him, Popo had no idea that his lord Kami had overheard the conversation and was now lost in his own mental world.

By now, Popo was drenched in sweat, yet he did not dare make any move.

Strictly speaking, he was merely an attendant. If Kami did not speak, he had no right to do so.

The atmosphere grew increasingly oppressive.

At that moment, Kami Piccolo was the one who came back to his senses. He did his utmost to appear calm as he walked forward.

Even though he was panicking inside, he remained composed on the surface.

"Welcome, travelers from afar, to Earth. I am Earth's Kami, and this is Kami's Lookout," Kami Piccolo said proactively.

The moment he spoke, Selari on Talot's side looked utterly astonished.

"A god? Brother Talot, he said he's a god! Isn't he a Namekian? How is he a god too?" Selari turned her head toward Talot and asked.

What she really wanted to say was: Gods are this weak?

Gine also looked toward Talot.

Ever since they had left Planet Vegeta, whatever Talot said went. Although Gine was an adult woman, she had handed Talot the initiative and the power to make decisions.

"The Universe truly is full of wonders. A Namekian actually became Earth's Kami." Talot pretended he did not know, putting on a highly shocked expression.

Hearing those two remarks, Kami Piccolo felt as though he were falling apart inside, and his identity was completely confirmed.

Popo looked at Talot in surprise, then turned to Kami Piccolo.

By now, the atmosphere was no longer as oppressive as before.

"Merely by chance. I never expected that I was an extraterrestrial being... Thank you for telling me that I am actually a Namekian." Kami Piccolo behaved very amiably.

He was weak, and he did not know why Talot and the other two had come. The more low-key and friendly he was, the better.

Seeing Kami Piccolo's behavior, then glancing at Popo, Talot had no intention of suppressing them.

Before he could speak, Gine could not hold herself back any longer. "You say you're this Earth's Kami. In my understanding, gods should be omnipotent, shouldn't they? Since you call yourself a god, you must know everything about Earth, right?"

"Though I do not have complete control over it, I am indeed familiar with most of Earth's circumstances as its Kami. Is there anything I can help you with, travelers from another world?" Without directly asking their purpose for coming to Earth, Kami Piccolo suppressed his restless heart and probed indirectly.

Hearing that, Gine no longer hesitated and said bluntly, "I need you to help me find someone. He is my son, and he should have arrived on Earth several months ago."

After saying that, Gine wanted to add something else, but she stumbled over her words, not knowing how to describe him, and fell awkwardly silent.

Seeing this, Talot immediately tugged on Gine's hand, telling her not to worry. Then he said, "Let me explain, Aunt Gine."

Only after Gine nodded did Talot meet Kami Piccolo's gaze again.

He could sense Kami Piccolo's unease. "There's no need to be nervous. We came to Earth without any hostile intentions. First, let me introduce us. We are Saiyans from Planet Vegeta. As for why we came here, Aunt Gine's son was sent to Earth due to an accident several months ago. Now, we must find him. So, could you, Earth's Kami, help us locate him...?"

As Talot explained the details, Kami Piccolo finally understood the whole sequence of events.

At the very least, now that he knew their purpose and origins, he no longer needed to be so nervous.

Although Talot and the other two possessed tremendous strength, they had not come to destroy or invade. That made them friends.

His taut nerves relaxed. While he could not completely let down his guard around Talot's group, there was no longer any need for such deep concern.

What greatly surprised Kami Piccolo was that he had not expected the one calling the shots among the three to be this child rather than Gine.

"So, can you help us find it?" Talot asked again.

Deep down, he was already hoping that Kami would fail to find it.

At the very least, he hoped it would not be found anytime soon. If they found it after Kakarot had hit his head, that would ensure Kakarot became the Kakarot from the original story.
