The third Easter egg in the first stage of Demon Village was a complete set of Knight Armor.
The trigger condition was to crouch at the edge of the first river island near the cemetery while wearing no armor and only a pair of underpants. The armor would then descend from the sky.
Although Cheng Tian already had a set, that did not stop him from stripping down to a macho man and triggering a new one.
The fourth Easter egg was near the cemetery entrance where Red Arremer had originally been stationed. There was a crooked tombstone tilted at almost a 45-degree angle. Attacking it fifteen times would summon a Vampire Magician.
It was the exact same kind of magician as the mimic triggered by the bloodstain before, but this vampire's Polymorph specialization was slightly different. It excelled at turning creatures into "frogs."
Having prepared in advance, Cheng Tian naturally was not caught off guard. He had already charged up the Polymorph duck missile. The moment the opponent appeared, before its cloak had even spread open, the hexagram smacked into it, turning it into a duck on the spot.
Immediately afterward, Cheng Tian calmly wrapped the Vampire Slayer around the vampire duck's neck. Once it returned to its original form, he directly twisted its neck off.
Unfortunately, this Vampire Magician did not drop a chest, but it did increase the completion progress of Cheng Tian's achievement related to opening mimic chests.
It seemed that the Vampire Magician's role in Demon Village was simply to serve as a mimic chest.
As for the final Easter egg, it was at the spawn point of this dungeon mission, on the low hill with only a dozen or so tombstones.
He likewise found an obviously tilted tombstone. After stepping on it and jumping back down, a second later, a large, brilliantly glowing King Statue emerged from the cracked tombstone beside it.
An ordinary King Statue was worth only 50 coins, but this large statue was worth twenty times as much, enough to be exchanged directly for 1,000 Heaven's Chosen Coins!
Since Cheng Tian had cleared out space in advance, he packed up the 30-second BUG windmill, the second set of Knight Armor, and the large King Statue and brought them all back.
And this led to the second matter—the final settlement of his innate talent.
You cleared and left the "Demon Village" dungeon. Its effects are essentially the same as before, but the drop rate of Innocent Soul (Small) is reduced to 20%, while the drop rate of Innocent Soul (Large) is reduced to 5%. It cannot be upgraded for the time being.
Extracting one of the loaded template's skills and preserving it as an extra skill already counted as one of the better rewards in the 'Game Expert' settlement.
Although he could not invest points in it to upgrade it, it did not occupy Cheng Tian's skill slots. Nor was it like rewards such as equipment and accessories with fixed special effects, which required equipment or accessory slots. That made it the most practical reward within his limited resources.
There was also an additional notification after the settlement.
Based on your near-perfect completion of the dungeon mission while loading the "Vampire Hunter/Simon Belmont" template, when you subsequently enter a "Demon Village"-related sourcebook dungeon, you can still trigger the effect of 'Game Expert' again. However, the loaded template can only be drawn from characters related to "Vampire Hunter."
Under normal circumstances, Cheng Tian, having already completed his talent settlement, would no longer have been able to obtain template loading in subsequent Demon Village stages. However, he had transformed into Cheng the Thorough and looted the first stage of Demon Village completely, bringing out practically everything that was not randomized. Thus, he received this additional reward.
It was probably meant to let Cheng Tian perform the same thorough looting in a future Demon Village scene.
Clearly, the Space encouraged players to dig as deeply as possible into dungeon scenes. When time was plentiful and circumstances allowed, Cheng Tian was indeed quite accustomed to thorough, three-light-style looting.
But Cheng Tian also knew very well that this was probably one of the benefits of the novice trial. He had now become an official player, so theoretically he would no longer encounter pure novices. Combined with the uncontrollable nature of dungeon sourcebooks, reproducing this level of gains would probably not be easy.
Incidentally, although Cheng Tian's underpants still bore the image of a strawberry-patterned macho man, they lost their effect after he left Demon Village. This meant that the macho outfit embodying Arthur's legacy could only function inside Demon Village.
Cheng Tian was not in a hurry to directly hand over the things he had brought back through free exploration to the Space for processing.
