He discovered signs that someone had recently visited the cave and found that its strange aura could help his body grow stronger.

• Nan Ge assessed Wang Dong's extraordinary physical strength while the Moving Mountain Sect and White East Gate worked to restore order at the scene.
• Lu Sheng killed Drunkard Kyle, gathered fifteen Golden Grade Spirit Communicators, and took them into a house under the pretense of demanding ransom.

• Lu Sheng left with Crimson and traveled to the Eye of Sin in the Barren Land, where Crimson said Wang Jing had to face her abandoned selves alone.

Lu Sheng reached Wang Jing at the bottom of the abyss, where she faced the negative emotions she had once separated from herself. He accepted her decision to face the trial alone, then destroyed the Barren Land and headed back to investigate the Eye of Sin, while Crimson watched the abyss being engulfed by cannon fire.

• Lu Sheng found the wounded Two-Headed Monster Dragon and recognized her as Wang Jing, then tried to comfort her by changing into monstrous forms.
• Wang Jing explained that the Soul Beasts were parts of herself and insisted on facing her trial alone; Lu Sheng gave her an emblem of his powers, and she gave him a piece of her dragon horn as a signal for their next meeting.

Meanwhile, enemies mobilized against the Institute, and Lu Sheng’s immense gains left him pondering whether his human nature would prevent him from surpassing Mingluo.

• An Xi followed Ban Sai into the Summoning Ritual Site, where Li Shunxi, Tuo Lanba He, and Tong Sheng gathered to welcome the returning chairman.
• Ban Sai activated the ritual, which began establishing a cross-realm link expected to take thirty-six hours.

• The Qing Yang Snake Bird Grand Commander, other Ancient Beasts, and Star Spirits arrived at the Research Institute demanding that it hand over Baisha Kedefier, Ella, Larry, and others.
• Li Shunxi, Ban Sai, Bei Fa Sha, Te Lei, and An Xi insisted the wanted people were not there, but agreed to let the visitors search the space station.

• An Xi, Ban Sai, Te Lei, and Bei Fa Sha blocked Xifu Lake and Commander Qing Yang’s groups from entering the Research Institute.
