Ch. 683Taking One Away as a Sample

Oboro tracked God to Heavenly Rock Cave and defeated it in its own dimension. He dragged the burning God toward himself, intending to take it away as a test subject.

  • Oboro severed God's remnant consciousness from Wandering Emperor's mental world, but God escaped as fading petals.
  • Oboro located Heavenly Rock Cave, opened a dimensional rift, and entered to confront God's true body.
  • God asked Oboro how he had achieved his powerful physical form, and Oboro rejected the comparison and speculated about God's past.
  • God attacked Oboro with an enormous fist, but Oboro caught it with soul power and bound God with chains and netherfire.
  • God screamed as Oboro's attacks damaged it, and Oboro dragged it toward himself as a specimen.

Ch. 684I Came Out for a Morning Run

Oboro captured God inside Heavenly Rock Cave and returned to Earth with it, then encountered Saitama while walking back from a supposed morning run. He left Saitama wondering whether Oboro had caused the monsters' sudden appearance.

  • Oboro defeated God with Thresh's power and trapped its soul in his lantern.
  • Oboro returned to Earth, considering whether the Will Tree would allow him to take God across dimensions.
  • Oboro encountered Pochi, who fled from him and then hid behind Saitama.
  • Saitama told Oboro that he and Genos had come outside after noticing monsters in the uninhabited zone.
  • Oboro showed Saitama the spatial fragments containing Monster King Orochi and Black Sperm, then denied causing the monster outbreak.

Ch. 685A Gift for You

Oboro found Genos badly damaged after an attack by Fuhrer Ugly, then freed Platinum Sperm and gave it to Saitama as a gift. Saitama sensed that Oboro was acting strangely and learned that he was preparing to leave for a while.

  • Oboro and Saitama found Genos smashed apart after Fuhrer Ugly attacked him, then brought him home.
  • Genos left with Saitama to visit Dr. Kuseno for repairs, leaving Oboro alone with Pochi.
  • Oboro released Platinum Sperm from the spatial cube, cut it down when it tried to escape, and ordered it to stay beside Pochi.
  • Saitama returned and mistook Black Sperm for a toy until Oboro said it was a gift for him.
  • Saitama questioned Oboro about his recent behavior, and Oboro admitted he was preparing to leave for a while.

Ch. 686The Final Farewell

Oboro prepared to leave the One-Punch Man world and agreed to one last spar with Saitama, whose strength and growth impressed him. After Saitama returned victorious, Blast arrived at the desert and investigated the extraordinary spatial disturbance Oboro had left behind.

  • Oboro told Saitama he was leaving for other worlds, refused to take him along, and agreed to fight him before departing.
  • A few days later, Oboro and Saitama began their spar in the desert while Genos, Black Sperm, and Pochi watched; Saitama's opening attack sent the two fighters away from the observers.
  • Genos and the others waited for hours until Saitama returned alone, battered but smiling, and said he had won and Oboro had already left.
  • Saitama told Genos that Oboro was stronger than before and might surpass him further before their next fight.
  • Blast arrived at the desert, detected the unstable spatial fluctuations, and headed after Saitama and the others.

Ch. 687An Ending and a New Beginning

After failing to learn how to control time in the One-Punch Man world, Oboro returned to Hunter x Hunter and arrived at the beginning of his life with Hisoka. He joined the circus that had taken in the injured Hisoka, where the two met again as young strangers.

  • Oboro searched the One-Punch Man multiverse for a way to master time, then asked its Will Tree about the laws of time.
  • The Will Tree expelled Oboro from its world, and he traveled through the time-space torrent toward Hunter x Hunter.
  • Oboro arrived in the past on the Yorbian Continent, where Moritonio's circus had found an injured Hisoka.
  • Moritonio agreed to let Oboro join the circus, and Oboro healed Hisoka's injuries in the carriage.
  • Oboro greeted the young Hisoka, who said he felt they would become good friends.
