An Ending and a New Beginning

For some time afterward, Oboro kept using his traversal ability to roam through the various worlds of the One-Punch Man multiverse.

Since some worlds seemed to contain figures like Blast, characters capable of breaking through dimensions—the so-called dimensional guardians—those people were Oboro's targets.

He wanted to study the abilities of these dimensional guardians to familiarize himself with the laws of time and space.

He had already gained relatively proficient control over the laws of space, but he had never been able to grasp the laws of time.

However, the Earth where Saitama lived was the strongest plane in this multiverse, and Blast could only break through spatial barriers. He possessed no time-related abilities either... So even after "traveling" through the various universes for quite a long time, Oboro found no way to develop an awareness of temporal abilities.

But Oboro knew that the laws of time truly existed.

Because every time he arrived in a world, the story seemed not to have unfolded yet according to the original timeline.

Oboro wanted to ensure that when he returned to Hunter x Hunter, some of the people who had died... could be brought back to life.

Because he had some regrets in Hunter x Hunter...

It was just a great pity that no matter how hard he tried or researched... he could not touch upon the concept of time.

His traversal ability seemed bound only to the active laws of space, while time was passive.

Thus, he could only devote most of his energy to studying God, who was imprisoned within the Soul Lamp, as well as improving his perception and control of space.

And so, after an unknown amount of time had passed, Oboro finally gave up.

He was certain... the One-Punch Man World did not have the answer he sought.
