Liang Qu reached Unity of Heaven and Man, fought King Chu as the White Ape, and survived the Flood Dragon by reviving in the Blood River Realm. He built the River God Sect, drew the Heavenly Fire Sect’s attention, and entered its ranks before a messenger summoned him back.

• Liang Qu broke through to Unity of Heaven and Man, then enlisted the Western Turtle King and other Dragonfolk in the campaign against the Flood Dragon.
• Liang Qu gathered Marsh Essence from the Giant Clam Tribe and leased Old Toad’s Immortal Island pond, while preparing for the coming conflict.
• Liang Qu tracked Jian Zhongyi to Xiao Tuo Dam, where King Chu killed Jian Zhongyi and attacked Liang Qu and the White Ape.
• Liang Qu raised the White Ape’s strength enough to defeat King Chu, but the Flood Dragon tore off the White Ape’s arm and swallowed him.

Liang Qu engineered a Southern Border defeat, then joined the Demon Kings to challenge the Flood Dragon and claimed the Jianghuai Dragon Palace. After taking charge of the Dragonfolk, he struck at the Ghost Mother Sect and prepared to return north while Long Pingjiang impersonated him.

• Liang Qu fabricated evidence of Desire Gu use and manipulated the King of South Sea into remaining committed to Da Shun, then used a torrential storm and a night raid to rout the Southern Border army at Ha Long Bay.
• Liang Qu secured King Chong’s support and opened a Vortex Waterway to bring Demon Kings to the Southern Border, where King Chong and the White Ape killed Pan Tong Da Xi.
• Liang Qu collected Long Qi from Southern Border stockades while fleeing the Flood Dragon, then joined Frog King, Turtle King, Sea Market Master, and General Yuan in battle against it.
• Liang Qu advanced Vortex Palace into Marshland Kingdom (False) (Small), fought the Flood Dragon through Jianghuai, and used the Drought Demon Fruit to halt its attempt to reach the sea.
• After the Flood Dragon escaped, General Yuan recognized the White Ape as Jianghuai’s new lord, and Ao Qing, Long Chen, and thousands of Dragonfolk pledged themselves to Liang Qu.
• Liang Qu ordered the Dragonfolk to hunt the Ghost Mother Sect and learned that Meng Yi had collapsed after hearing he had become a Martial Saint.
• Liang Qu revealed himself at the Ghost Mother Sect’s stronghold, questioned King Chu about its ritual, trapped King Chu’s soul, and sent his corpse to the Imperial Capital.
• Da Shun completed its purge of the Ghost Mother Sect, Liang Qu received orders to return from the Lingnan front, and Long Pingjiang used a body made from Martial Saints’ remains to impersonate him and head north.

Liang Qu became King of Huai and built up his fief through new ports, appointments, and the Great Hunting Assembly. As he prepared to enter the underworld and faced the Old Toad’s apparent death, Wu Cangshou revealed a chance for the toad to become a Great Demon.

• Liang Qu emerged as a Young Dragon Martial Saint, announced his sainthood across Da Shun, and was enfeoffed as King of Huai with thirteen ports.
• Liang Qu received a revised cultivation technique and Rank Fruit method from an Immortal, then returned to his fief and began organizing its people, waterways, and officials.
• Liang Qu welcomed the Sea Market Master and the Golden-haired Monkey King, appointed water beasts and Dragonfolk to posts, and sent teams to develop ports and River God Temples.
• Liang Qu created the thirteen-level Heaven-Piercing Water Tower for the Great Hunting Assembly, where Huo Hongyuan outlasted his rivals and won first place.
• Liang Qu agreed to help the Whale Emperor organize a larger Eastern Sea Great Hunting Assembly, then negotiated with Lu Jia to bring thirteen rare treasure trees and Sky Vessel Tower branches to his ports.
• Liang Qu lectured at Hanging Temple on the Dragon-Rising Method and Temple Meditation, then prepared to use Ghost Mother’s ritual to enter the Blood River Realm.
• Liang Qu descended into the Blood River Realm through Pai Xiao Xing’s body, then returned to Jianghuai when Long Yanrui reported that Old Toad was dying.
• Old Toad handed Liang Qu the National Teacher Seal and divided its possessions, but Wu Cangshou recognized that it might survive by advancing into a Great Demon and began a formation to find its chance.
