Liang Qu investigated the breach of Lord Qiu’s Dyke, managed flood relief, and grew stronger while expanding his river duties. After killing the Snake Demon that had blockaded Fragrant Township County, he resumed searching the Great Marsh and received word from one of his searching fish.

Arc 13The Breach of Lord Qiu’s Dyke

Liang Qu investigated Lord Qiu’s Dyke’s collapse, confronted the Sand River Gang leader who had destroyed it in revenge, and took charge of a large-scale flood-relief effort. The arc ended with his subordinates seeing the vast fleet and relief operation he had assembled in a single day.

  • Liang Qu accepted Xu Yuelong’s order to reach flooded Hua Zhu County, investigate the breached dyke and failed warning, and rescue its residents.
  • Liang Qu traveled upriver, fought off water bandits, found Lord Qiu’s Dyke breached, and recovered evidence that its Water Standard Tablets had been submerged for days.
  • Liang Qu treated sick refugees at Yellow Mountain, rescued a fleet from an Iron Head Fish, and confronted County Magistrate Yu Dayi over the disaster and his attempt to shift blame.

Arc 14Floodwaters and River Beasts

Liang Qu helped contain the Black Water River flood, earned imperial recognition, and returned to Yi Xing Town after evolving several of his Water Beasts. There, the Old Monk warned him that the Snow Mountain Cult might have used the dyke collapse to gather Calamity Qi and introduced him to two Yogacara methods.

  • Liang Qu organized evacuations and relief, drained flooded paddies, and exposed Cheng Chong as the suspected saboteur of Lord Qiu's Dyke.
  • Liang Qu helped restore the river and flood-hit county, evolved Awei with Yellow Water Calamity Poison, and gained River’s Favor through Wang Boat sacrifices.
  • The court rewarded Liang Qu for his relief work and issued the Sacred Emperor’s encouragement to build bridges and waterways, while Liang Qu acquired the Abyssal Wood Bow and exchanged merits for the Azure Dragon Kill Scripture.

Arc 15The Dragon Lord’s Awakening

Liang Qu expanded his river duties, completed the Fortune Ship, and was mistaken by two Dragonfolk for the reincarnated Dragon Lord. After reaching the Galloping Horse Extreme Realm, he used the Morning Dew Worm to deepen his cultivation and unleash a devastating spear strike before recovering and inspecting new ships.

  • Liang Qu trained the River Otters under Ta Ta Kai, cultivated new Dharma Gates, and gave Yang Dongxiong the consciousness methods and additional forms of the Azure Dragon Spear Technique.
  • Liang Qu hosted crab feasts, persuaded Old Toad to support the pond expansion, and learned that the River Conservancy Office planned monthly Treasure Fish expeditions into the Deep Water Area.
  • Long Pingjiang and Long Pinghe emerged from the underground river, mistook Liang Qu for the reincarnated Dragon Lord, and left him Treasure Fish while keeping their belief secret from the Flood Dragon.
  • Liang Qu launched the Fortune Ship, received the Morning Dew Worm, Withered Wind Narcissus, and Azure Dragon Kill Scripture, then used the rewards to open his final apertures and reach the Galloping Horse Extreme Realm.

Arc 16The Snake Demon’s Fall

Liang Qu advanced his cultivation and traveled to Fragrant Township County to end the Snake Demon’s blockade of the waterways. After killing it as a giant white ape, he secured its remains, strengthened ties with the Dragonfolk and local clans, and resumed searching the Great Marsh.

  • The Dragonfolk warned Liang Qu about a Snake Demon near Fragrant Township County, while he learned that it had blockaded the waterways after the Zhang Clan and Li Family killed its offspring.
  • Liang Qu mastered the Azure Dragon Seven Kill Spear, formed his second True Aura, completed the Marsh Ape’s fusion, and became a Wolf Smoke Expert.
  • Liang Qu accepted the mission to confront the Snake Demon, traveled to Fragrant Township County with the Dragonfolk and his Water Beasts, and secured support and treasures from the Zhang Clan and Li Family.
  • Liang Qu entered the Great Marsh and fought the Snake Demon, surviving its poison with the Old Monk’s protective token before transforming into a giant white ape and killing it.
