This was the largest island in the Alola Region. From afar, two towering peaks could be seen, both blanketed in thick snow. Beyond the mountains, the island also had deserts, forests, and towns.

One of those mountains was Mount Lanakila, the tallest mountain in the Alola Region.

It was also the site Doctor Kukui had selected for the future headquarters of the Alola League.

The other was Mount Hokulani, home to the renowned Hokulani Observatory—the Alola Region's only observatory. Its owner was Molayne, Jing He's student Sophocles's cousin and one of the future Elite Four of the Alola Region.

"Stop taking pictures and watch where you're going, Rotom. There are Wailmer ahead!"

Several Wailmer, each as large as a small hill, leisurely swam through the waters before them.

Rotom immediately stopped taking pictures and focused on steering the speedboat.

In fact, Wailmer were quite good "transportation" across the sea in the Alola Region. The Pokémon School even had dedicated courses for training students to ride and control Wailmer.

"No chance today. Next time we head out, we can borrow one from Doctor Kukui."

Speedboats had their own kind of fun—Jing He could even experience something like Surfing behind one—while riding a Wailmer was an entirely different experience.

Though the Alola Region consisted of four islands, the distances between them were not actually that great. Before long, they arrived at a harbor on Ula'ula Island.

However, compared to the harbor in Hau'oli City on Melemele Island, the port they had arrived at was far more rundown.

Because they had arrived at Po Town Harbor.
