Arc 21The Genesect’s New Home

Jing He pursued Team Plasma’s Kyurem operation, helped Keldeo and the Swords of Justice, and later faced the Genesect at Pokémon Mountain Villa. With Mewtwo’s help, he stopped the Genesect leader and began helping the group find a home.

  • Jing He met Shauntal at Twinleaf Gym, delivered the DNA Splicers, and defeated Haxorus and Altaria in a battle that demonstrated his traveling approach to training.
  • Jing He discovered Team Plasma’s illegal research at P2 Laboratory and joined the International Police’s effort to stop Colress, who escaped with five Genesect.
  • Jing He treated the injured Keldeo and went to Giant Chasm, where he and his Pokémon fought the Genesect and freed Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion from Kyurem’s ice.

Arc 22The Unova Tournament

Jing He helped stop Team Plasma’s attack on Twinleaf Town, restored Kyurem, and continued his journey toward the Youth Master World Championship Tournament. After finding Meloetta and exploring the Ancient City, he won his early tournament battles and began a match against Molayne.

  • Jing He and his allies thwarted Team Plasma’s attack on Twinleaf Town, sent the falling Plasma Frigate into the Destroyed World, and used the DNA Splicers to restore Kyurem’s senses.

Arc 23The Nimbasa Tournament

Jing He advanced through the tournament by defeating Kibana, Leon, and Steven Stone, while Cynthia reached the final by defeating Wataru. He also helped N reconcile with his ideals and become the Black Hero, then faced Cynthia in the final as the arc ended.
