The ruins were transported to the High Seas, trapping students inside while imperial and foreign powers gathered outside to break through the barrier.

• After the Beast Tide, Gray Mist joined a Door in the Pupil meeting where Zero proposed stirring unrest in the Gloria Empire by supporting the Rebel Army and recruiting minor nobles against the major nobles.
• Anvis defeated Fiona in Arcane Cards, then met Zero, who sought his cooperation and warned that more than five marquises planned to seize the secret in the Fallen Star Remains.
• Anvis and Fiona traveled with the Pamir students to the ruins, where teams competed before the tournament shifted to exploration.
• Fiona discovered a hidden passage, while Anvis and Claire explored another route and found murals, a dangerous Spacetime Ripple Isolation Layer, and a vanishing image.

• Anvis, Claire, and Xia Ye Ying Huo entered the mirror space and followed Raine through the Stone Gate, where Raine took a Stone Egg and Anvis collected Dragon Blood Crystal Diamonds.
• Anvis used Claire’s blood to activate Bohemia’s Diamond Rune, gained control of the Floating City, and began planning to save the students and keep the city from the factions.
• Anvis raised the Floating City, separated the Pamir students from the Ninth Ranks’ conflict, and used the Moon of No Light to kill Seymour and two other Council Ninth Ranks.
• Anvis discovered that a Bloody Single Eye and Dream Tentacles threatened the city, while the Old Days Secret Scripture absorbed the Black Giant Cocoon and raised his Spiritual Synchronization Rate to ninety-nine percent.
• Anvis found the Eternal Core leaking Crystallization Wind and drew the Ninth Ranks toward the Energy Chamber by presenting himself as the leader of the Circle of Truth.

After reaching the Seventh Rank, Anvis uncovered a threat to Fiona and prepared for an attack, but Door in the Pupil abducted her instead. Anvis escaped their facility with its treasures and later settled in Malamoss City, where he treated Lia and prepared to investigate newly appeared ruins with Landon.

• Anvis completed his breakthrough to the Seventh Rank, awakened his Legendary Bloodlines, and discovered he could finely control elemental particles in his spells.
• Claire borrowed Bohemia, found the records she needed, and left Pamir Academy for a long-term assignment as the Door in the Pupil prepared to bring Fiona back from the Empire.
• Anvis foresaw a threat to himself and Fiona, and he and the Olyvendi and Alfred families planned to use Fiona’s trip with Vent to draw out the enemy.
• Anvis disguised Fiona as himself and waited for the attack, but Star abducted Fiona and fled the academy after its Mystic Lock defenses activated.
