Arc 13The Beast Tide and the Scepter
Anvis claimed a Force Dragon as an avatar while the Fallen Star Remains triggered a disastrous beast tide and a struggle between powerful Prophets. After the tide ended, Pamir Academy prepared a tournament in the ruins, where Anvis found a scepter that controlled the ancient Themis Colossus.
- Fiona bought Oracle Ore and relic fragments with Anvis, then gave the guide Pace money that was stolen after he was beaten, prompting Anvis to arrange help for his family and punishment for his father.
- Anvis and Duke Carlot captured a juvenile Force Dragon and used the Soul Splitting Ritual to make it Anvis’s avatar, which he tested and found could merge into him and retain valuable treasures.
- Anvis learned that the Holy Radiance Church’s Saint Plan ritual had sent a pillar of light into the Fallen Star Remains, injuring Imperial Ninth Rankers and escalating tensions between Gloria and the Church.
- A Dark Tide of Beasts devastated the Empire and drove creatures and Professionals into the ruins, while Anvis distributed Magic Constructs through the Mysteries Society and lost more than a million gold coins.
- Prophets from the Itel Federation and Continental Magic Council manipulated Fate Lines in a hidden contest over their Magic Constructs, and Anvis observed without intervening.
- The beast tide ended on its fourteenth day, and Anvis recognized White Light as an Outsider faction before returning to Pamir Academy as the Spark rebels began guerrilla warfare.
- Instructor Nancy announced an Academy Tournament in the Fallen Star Remains, and Anvis selected a Dark Gold Scepter from the Mystery Great Library while Claire chose a broken Stone Tablet.
- Anvis declined Harvey’s invitation to team up for the tournament, then charged the scepter and activated the Themis Colossus, an ancient weapon with power rivaling the Ninth Rank Limit.
