After watching Landon research the Spellbook, Anvis gained some understanding of how the rebel army's fate would normally unfold next.

As long as he did not get ahead of Landon and clear out those royal Secret Vaults in advance, the rebel army could station people at the locations of the various vaults beforehand and then pull off something big.

With the information and incantations Landon had obtained, the rebel army had a fairly high probability of succeeding.

And he clearly would not do such a thing. After all, those belonged to the Imperial Royal Family. The rebel army and the royal family were mortal enemies, so it did not matter if they robbed them, but as a member of the Olyvendi Family, it was inconvenient for him to make a move.

Those vaults mostly contained resources meant to supply large-scale legions, with no particularly valuable treasures hidden inside. For Anvis, angering the royal family over such resources would bring more disadvantages than benefits.

Best of all, with the emperor's sudden disappearance, the Princes and Princesses scrambling for power had no time to care about the commoners' rebel army causing trouble—a mere "minor irritation." They simply left the nobles to handle it themselves.

In other words, the rebels were currently in quite a safe position, with promising prospects ahead.

Having seen through all this, Anvis left directly.

This seemed at odds with his identity. After all, allowing the rebel army to act freely was dangerous and could very likely cause unrest to erupt in Carlas Province again in the future.

But in truth, Anvis had no intention of interfering with the normal development of the rebel army's fate.

For an Eighth Rank Prophet, the Spark Rebel Army, with which he had formed countless tangled connections, was not actually hostile to him.
