Background

Landon was raised in poverty in the slums of Malamoss City alongside Lia, an abandoned infant whom his parents adopted. His mother had come from a Count family in the Silver Moon Kingdom but eloped with his father; the couple later lived in seclusion in a remote Federation village. Lia is not Landon’s blood sister. 402

As a youth, Landon supported himself and Lia through odd jobs and theft, including stealing bread. Lia’s Crystallization Disease drove his determination to earn money and find a cure. 400

Anvis identified Landon as a Child of Destiny with unusually concentrated Fate’s Favor. Historical records known to Anvis describe Landon as a future Federation powerhouse whose inherited maternal bloodline would be refined through a supreme treasure, causing his strength to rise rapidly. 402

Malamoss City and the Ruins

Landon is introduced as an orphaned slum youth caring for Lia while she suffers from Crystallization Disease. Anvis intervenes when thugs attack them, heals both siblings, and directs Landon toward an ancient ruin designed around his fate. 400 401 404

In the ruins, Landon endures a beating from a shadow creature through sheer willpower. His black pendant activates fully, enabling him to claim the ultimate reward and draw the attention of Dark Raven’s enemies. 405 408

Flight from the Morn Kingdom

After learning that the pendant contains Dark Raven’s consciousness and that powerful enemies are searching for him, Landon leaves the Morn Kingdom with Lia. Anvis equips the siblings for travel, while Dark Raven begins teaching Landon in earnest. 408 418

During the journey, Landon and Lia survive an ancient ruin, gain benefits, and both break through their ranks. Landon also rescues Freya. 417 418

Spark Organization

Following his flight from Silver Moon City, Landon joins Spark under the name Newman. He rises into a managerial role, befriends Luo Qi, and becomes increasingly involved in the organization’s struggle against oppression. 426 427

When the Spark Squad is trapped in an arena by a Ninth-Rank magic circle, Landon summons the King of Annihilation’s Projection with the Book of Yellow Robe. After Oni Chaos assimilates the Projection and the Book, Landon draws on the Nirvana Dimension to defeat Oni Chaos and shatter its core. 874
