History

Creation

Fang Xi first encounters the practical value of an External Incarnation when a white-robed female cultivator survives through a demonic corpse after losing her original body. He detects her concealed consciousness, and her attempt to escape through self-destruction ends with the destruction of her remnant soul 301.

To reproduce the technique, Fang Xi combines a partial Six Desires Mixed Heaven Demon refining method with the soul-splitting technique in Situ Jiu’s Corpse Control Art. Enlightenment from the Nine-Eyed Bodhi Seed lets him resolve missing steps, identify substitute materials, and complete a workable method, although he considers it inferior to a genuine Demonic Sect transmission 304 305.

The Holy Son’s corpse becomes the vessel. Its unusually powerful physique had withstood Magic Treasure attacks barehanded, making it more valuable than Fang Xi’s other corpse-refining material 304 305.

Red Sun Realm

Fang Xi sends the incarnation into the Red Sun Realm, using their reciprocal traversal anchors to explore without exposing his true body. Its experiences reveal a local Magic Cultivator system intertwined with Malevolent Spirits and Anomalies 309 316.

The incarnation cultivates that system, reaches divine-ability Core Formation, and later captures Elder Bai. It searches his soul, returns his Golden Core and the Earth Origin Elixir, and brings back his corpse as fertilizer for the Yao Mo Tree 332 341.

During the conflict with the Young Palace Master, it suffers damage from the Yama Heavenly Son’s crimson rain. The subsequent discovery of the Yan Mo Dao Master’s intentions and cultivation memories provides the resources for the External Dao Nascent Soul Method 353 355.

Earth Immortal Realm Service

The incarnation operates within the Heavenly Brahma Army while Fang Xi coordinates movements between his bodies. It can remain in camp as an alibi or take the dangerous assignment itself while the true body stays visibly accounted for 676.

Its deliberately stagnant cultivation causes others to suspect damaged foundations or exhausted potential. It leaves those assumptions uncorrected, welcoming the decline in recruitment attempts 687 692.

After escaping the Primordial Savage Beast attack on Black Rock Marketplace, it chooses the Azure Gold Mountain Range as a breakthrough site rather than proceeding to Heavenly Brahma City. Fang Xi’s true body arrives to assist its advancement to Void Returning 700.

Exploration and Recovery

The incarnation retrieves the Dragon Pattern Wall from the Star Immortal Mansion, using borrowed void power to resist the mansion’s rejection. It later enters Mo Race territory and searches the captured Heavenly Demon King of Freedom’s memories for high-level cultivation knowledge 749 840 849.

In an unknown Great Thousand World, stricter void laws destroy its storage bags and threaten its Cave-Heaven Treasure. It returns its findings to Fang Xi, then continues exploring the world identified as the True Immortal Realm 896 911.

Dissolution and Successors

The original incarnation’s demonic cultivation eventually becomes a liability. Fang Xi suspects its Natal Demonic Tribulation may involve an exceptionally powerful Demon Lord; cultivators of that art are reported never to have survived the tribulation 930 953.

Using Three Purities Unite, Fang Xi activates its pre-set restrictions, extinguishes the body’s vitality, dissolves its Demonic Nascent Soul into pure demonic qi, and retrieves the underlying soul fragment. He chooses this rather than confronting the associated Heavenly Demon 953.

After also reclaiming the Divine Path Incarnation, Fang Xi completes his Primordial Spirit and develops One Transforms into Three Purities. Its Illusory True Spirits support new incarnations with shared consciousness and no danger of betrayal 955 956 974.
