That evening, news that Cedric was helping Harry organize DA Meetings quickly spread among the Hogwarts students. Hogwarts, on the verge of winter, became livelier as a result. More and more students became interested in the so-called DA Meetings, and many younger students were asking around about how to join the Defence Association.
Naturally, Slytherin students were excluded from the DA Meetings. The reason was simple: to prevent anyone from sneaking in to pry into confidential information.
A small number of Slytherin students were quite dissatisfied with this and brought up Albert's "Defence Association," claiming Harry was treating them differently.
The response was equally simple: Slytherin students had no need to worry about Death Eater attacks, because the vast majority of Death Eaters came from Slytherin.
It was practically the same as pointing at the Slytherin students' noses and calling Slytherin the Death Eaters' lair.
Yet everyone else unanimously agreed with it.
It couldn't be helped. Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters had done too many hateful things, so naturally everyone was wary of Slytherin students.
Who knew whether they might truly become Death Eaters in the future?
Moreover, many people wanted to join the "Defence Association" Albert had established after graduation, to learn more advanced Defence Against the Dark Arts skills and protect themselves in the Second Wizarding War. There was no harm in building a good relationship with Albert, either. Just look at his friends.
Under such circumstances, how could they allow Slytherin students to come in and ruin things? Cedric told Albert about all this and reported that some graduates had proactively expressed interest in joining the "Defence Association."
Albert's reputation was one of reliability, and the flourishing success of Fred, George, and Lee Jordan also made the soon-to-graduate students envious.
"Although we recruited a large group
