In truth, it was not hard for them to see that Albert did not trust them—or rather, did not trust their ability to keep secrets. That much was obvious from the way House-elves transported them to the Defence Association Headquarters.
Of course, there was an upside to that. Even if someone really did leak the Association's secrets, they would not need to worry about Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters finding the Association Headquarters.
Though that mistrust made them uncomfortable, the students who had just graduated all understood one thing: Hogwarts had no secrets.
