Rescued
At this moment, Albert was running for his life through the raging Flame Tunnel, with Fang in close behind.
The Acromantula were agitated by the sudden flames and instinctively moved away from the wall of fire, giving Albert enough time and space.
Albert rushed to the Guardian Tree and, before he could even catch his breath, immediately brandished his wand and used the Fire Spell again.
A ring of fire began to burn in the direction Albert's wand was pointing, blazing fiercely ten feet away from the Guardian Tree.
The fire looked fierce, but without any burning material to support it, the rotten soil and fallen leaves on the ground could not keep the fire burning.
"Yugadim Leviosa!" Albert waved his wand and used Levitation Charm on the hound, Fang, making Fang float.
The latter was greatly frightened, letting out a terrified howl, its four legs flailing wildly in the air as if swimming in water.
"Quick, pull me up!" Albert also started climbing the tree, and Fred and George reached out and pulled him up, which helped Albert quickly climb to the top of the tree.
Fang was quickly freed from the Levitation Charm and cowered tremblingly on the wooden platform that Albert had created using the Transfiguration Spell.
"Why are you here?" Fred and George had snapped out of their daze and stared at Albert in shock. They never expected that the person who came to save them would be Albert.
"Otherwise, who do you think it would be?" Albert, having just recovered, glared at the Weasley Twins with annoyance. "Professor McGonagall? Or Professor Dumbledore? By the time they find out you're missing, you'll have been torn to pieces by the Acromantula and become food for those monsters."
Their cheeks flushed red with embarrassment, but they had to admit that Albert was right—it was Easter!
If Albert hadn't discovered their disappearance immediately, and had been any later, Hagrid might have come to collect their bodies the next day, or even found their remains.
"What should we do now?" Fred moved aside to make room for Albert.
"Wait for rescue. When I arrived, I sent Lee Jordan to find Professor McGonagall." Albert calmed his breathing and reassured her, "The professors should be here soon. Keep firing Red Sparks into the sky to guide them."
"You, you went into the forest all by yourself?" George suddenly realized something, staring at Albert in disbelief.
"How did you manage to find us in the Forbidden Forest?" Fred realized the meaning behind George's words and stared at Albert in disbelief.
They simply couldn't believe that Albert had ventured into the Forbidden Forest alone in the dead of night and managed to find them.
"What else?" Albert didn't notice the shock on the Twins ' faces, because he noticed that the ring of fire below had gone out and the spider army had surrounded them again.
"How did you provoke these Acromantula? Did you disturb their nest or steal their eggs?" Albert frowned slightly, raised his wand, and knocked down a Acromantula was trying to approach the Guardian Tree.
"No, we encountered some large spiders on the road, so we ran to the vicinity to seek the protection of the Guardian Tree. We didn't expect that the number of these large spiders would increase." Fred's expression was somewhat conflicted.
"And that's how you ended up with this scene," George added.
"Arania~Aitemi!"
Another spider was struck down by the spell. Looking down from the Guardian Tree, a dense swarm of large spiders below looked terrifying.
"Keep firing the Red Sparks, don't stop," Albert instructed.
"Oh!" George continued to shoot Red Sparks into the sky, then secretly glanced at Albert.
Honestly, the Twins found it hard to imagine how Albert managed to cross the forest in the dead of night and find his way back. Even the professor probably wouldn't have found someone so easily in the dark depths of the Forbidden Forest! "Protego Totalum! Protego Totalum! Protego Totalum!" Albert unleashed three Defensive Spell in quick succession, completely enveloping the Guardian Tree.
The giant spider outside crashed headfirst into the Magical Barrier, as if it had hit an invisible wall, and was abruptly stopped.
"What kind of magic is this!" George exclaimed, his eyes widening in surprise as they watched the spider rush up and crash headfirst into the wall.
"We should be safe now!"
"Don't overthink it. If the professors don't get here soon, they're going to be eaten!" Albert gasped for breath, shaking his head as he warned, "Haven't you noticed these giant spiders are getting increasingly agitated?"
Fred and George exchanged glances and quickly realized that Albert was right; initially, they were hesitant to approach the Guardian Tree.
The two couldn't help but feel lucky; if Albert had been any later, they might have really been eaten by those giant spiders.
"Why didn't you come with the professors?" Fred couldn't help but ask the question that had been bothering him. Given Albert's personality, he shouldn't have ventured into the Forbidden Forest alone in the middle of the night.
"I originally planned to ask Hagrid for help, but Hagrid wasn't in his cabin, so I could only bring Fang to find you. Thanks to Fang, I wasn't ambushed by the Acromantula." Albert patted Fang's head.
This timid hunting dog is going to have a tough time tonight.
"So, you went into the forest by yourself." Both of them gaped in astonishment.
Now, Fred and George finally understood why Albert was sorted into Gryffindor. The courage and boldness he was showing were something that Gryffindor students combined might not be able to match.
"Alright, take it out!" Albert suddenly said.
"Take out what?"
"Of course it's the map, that Gryffindor's Secret Treasure Map." Albert looked at the two of them and shook his head helplessly. "You actually believed in that kind of nonsense? Didn't I warn you before? The Forbidden Forest is dangerous, but you didn't listen. Now you almost became spider food. Haven't you learned your lesson?"
Fred and George thought about it carefully, and it really was true.
Albert had warned them that there might be a breeding ground for Acromantula in the Forbidden Forest, and even warned them to be careful not to get eaten by the Acromantula.
This almost actually came true!
Speaking of which, George remembered that when the two of them went out for their first night out, Albert warned them to be careful not to be locked out of the Common Room by the Fat Lady... and that time it came true.
Are your words cursed?! How come whatever you say comes true?!
"How did you know there was a breeding farm for Acromantula here?" Fred asked curiously, eager to know who was raising these dangerous monsters in the Forbidden Forest.
"I heard it from Professor Broad." Albert saw through their thoughts and sighed. "But don't be silly, this is probably not a breeding farm, otherwise these giant spiders wouldn't have attacked you."
"But what about these giant spiders? Don't tell me these monsters originally lived in the Forbidden Forest."
"I guess someone released Acromantula into the Forbidden Forest. There are almost no natural predators for Acromantula here, and food is plentiful, so these giant spiders have multiplied so much." Albert looked at the Acromantula below and muttered, "Maybe this is Hagrid's fault."
Albert was well aware that the so-called Acromantula breeding farm was a complete joke. It was simply Hagrid releasing a pair of Acromantula into the Forbidden Forest, which multiplied over several decades to form the massive spider colony it is today.

While the group was talking, the protective barrier that Albert had created began to crumble. This was the downside of having such a large area; it was far less sturdy than a smaller version. After being continuously struck by the Acromantula, the Defensive Barrier gradually developed cracks.
"What should we do?" Fred asked Albert anxiously.
"Continue firing Red Sparks to force back those approaching giant spiders."
After the Defensive Barrier shattered, Albert immediately used Fire Spell to repel all the giant spiders that were trying to approach the Guardian Tree.
The situation is not optimistic.
However, Albert wasn't worried about his safety; he continued casting Spider Repelling Spell at the swarm of spiders below. Because there were so many giant spiders, almost every shot was enough to take one down, requiring no aiming at all.
"What spell did you use to knock down the spider so easily?" George couldn't help but ask. Albert's spell was very powerful; each strike inflicted significant damage on the giant spider.
Albert didn't have time to answer the Twins ' questions; he was busy reaping experience.
The professors are probably coming soon, so let's try to gain as much experience as possible before they arrive. After all, two of them give us 100 experience points, which means a level 1 spell.
To even begin to master a spell, one needs to waste a lot of time practicing.
This deal is very worthwhile.
After an unknown amount of time, most of the giant spiders surrounding the Guardian Tree were knocked down. These big guys actually felt fear, and no longer did any of the stubborn giant spiders dare to attack the Guardian Tree.
Fred and George were completely dumbfounded as they looked down at the giant spider that Albert had knocked down. They never imagined that Albert would be so brave!
One person takes on a large group of spiders.
"I feel like my tongue is about to get tied in knots." Albert was exhausted from casting spells and was stuffing chocolate into his mouth.
"Those spiders are retreating!" George shouted excitedly. "Can we go back now?"
"It's best to stay here and wait. Away from the protection of the Guardian Tree, you're easily attacked by spiders," Albert reminded him irritably. "Also, think carefully about how to deal with the professor later, and remember the map."
"What do you need the map for?" George asked suspiciously.
"Of course we'll confiscate it. Do you expect us to let you take the risk again next time?"
"We won't."
People always like to repeat the same mistakes.
"Speak human language, we don't understand."
"I know you'll try again to find the so-called Secret Treasure of Gryffindor, so give me the map. Without the map, you won't have any more foolish ideas about finding any treasure." Albert reached out to Fred for the map.
"Don't do that," George muttered. "We won't."
"Do you even believe that yourself?" Albert glared at George, maliciously reminding him, "I think you'd better think about how to explain this to Professor McGonagall when you get back. She'll probably tell your families."
"Oh no!" Fred screamed in terror, nearly falling from the tree, but Albert reacted quickly and pulled him back.
George wasn't so lucky; he was farther from Albert and fell straight down from the tree, letting out a painful groan.
"Are you alright?" Albert bent down and asked.
"Something's wrong, it hurts so much!"
"Alright, enough nonsense, give me that map!" Albert warned. "Next time, you'll probably just walk straight into the Acromantula's lair. One such stupid mistake is enough."
Fred reluctantly handed the map to Albert, who stuffed it into his pocket without even glancing at it. Then, he reached out and pulled George up the tree; although the spider swarm had retreated, it was still not safe to be there.
Around three o'clock, a professor finally arrived.
To Albert's surprise, the person who came to their rescue was not Professor McGonagall, but Professor Broad.
The old man was wearing a dark purple robe, but the robe was somewhat torn, probably from being scratched by tree branches while walking through the forest.
"It seems you are all alright." Professor Broad's eyes gleamed strangely in the darkness as he smiled at Albert, reminding him, "Mr. Anderson, I must warn you, your actions were far too reckless. Of course, I must admit, you did very well, and it surprised me greatly!"
"Good evening, Professor Broad." Albert greeted the old man with a smile. "I didn't expect it would be you who came to rescue us. I originally thought it would be Professor McGonagall."
"It's quite a coincidence. I was just about to go to the restroom to relieve myself when I ran into Mr. Jordan." Professor Broad said as he walked toward the three of them. "He told me everything, so I rushed over. I was worried that you wouldn't be able to find the two Mr. Weasley, so I took the trouble myself."
"I've brought Hagrid's Hound with me. With him around, no creature in the forest will harm me," Albert countered Professor Broad, using Hagrid's words as a pretext.
"You believe that?" Professor Broad looked around and asked with a half-smile.
Albert was a little embarrassed; he only used that phrase to fool others.
"By the way, what spell did you use to defeat these Acromantula? These monsters are really too dangerous."
In fact, Professor Broad had come after tracking Albert.
On the way, he was very surprised to find the Acromantula that had been knocked down, and there were quite a few spiders that had been knocked down by the spell.
However, none of those combined could shock Professor Broad as much as what he saw before him. There were no fewer than a hundred Acromantula lying dead here; the number was truly astonishing!
It was simply impossible for three first-year students to do that; the spells they learned in their first year were far from sufficient to fight against an Acromantula.
However, hundreds of them were knocked down here—not one, not ten, but hundreds—a truly terrifying number.
These defeated Acromantula undoubtedly proved Albert's power.
"Watch out!" George screamed.
"Alania~ Etemi!" Albert raised his magic spell and cast Spider Repelling Spell on the giant spider that was struggling to get up. He didn't even know how many times he had used it; he was extremely skilled at it.
"Oh, thank you, Mr. Anderson. If I were bitten by one of these big guys, I'd probably have to resign early." Professor Broad turned to look at the Acromantula that had been blasted away by the spell, his astonishment quickly returning to normal.
Professor Broad approached the three and, upon seeing the Guardian Tree, understood how Albert had defeated the Acromantula. He said to them, "Let's leave here as soon as possible. Let me see if there's anything suitable as a temporary Portkey."
"Use this!" Albert handed Fred's hat to Professor Broad.
"Why do you carry a hat with you?" Fred asked curiously, examining the hat Albert had taken out. For some reason, it looked vaguely familiar.
"This is your hat. I originally brought it to Fang to ask her to help me find you," Albert said irritably.
Mentos
The wizard's hat immediately emitted a blue light.
"Alright, you can use the Portkey to go back. It might be a little uncomfortable, but please bear with it!" Professor Broad said gently.
"What about Fang?" Albert asked.
"Don't worry, I'll bring it back in Apparition," Professor Broad said. "Alright, get ready. I'll count to three, and then you all reach out and grab the hat."
"One..." Professor Broad read in a low voice, "Two...three..."
Albert and the other two reached out and grabbed the corner of the wizard's hat. It seemed as if an invisible force was pulling them up and carrying them into the air. They flew forward like a gust of wind, unable to see anything in front of them.
A few seconds later, Albert fell heavily to the ground, while Fred and George fell even harder, their faces making direct contact with the dirt.
The wizard's hat, which served as Portkey, drifted slowly down from the sky and landed right on Fred's head.
Ugh! Fred and George got up and started retching, clearly having Portkey Sickness.
Albert was a little better off than the other two. After all, he had used Apparition before and was more resistant to the discomfort of using the Portkey than the other two.
"Don't worry, this is the Portkey Sickness." Professor Broad looked at the two who were retching and shook his head. "Madam Pomfrey will heal them. We'd better take them to the School Hospital. Help me with one of them."
"I hate this feeling!" Albert muttered. As he reached out to help Fred up, he heard hurried footsteps approaching.
