A Strange Feeling

Ever since Professor Smith told Albert about the Ravenclaw Knowledge Vault, he had had a strange feeling.

This should have been a secret! But Professor Smith actually told me directly? Does he consider Albert one of his own? Does he want to use him to unravel the secret? Or is it...?

One question after another surfaced in Albert's mind, mainly because the "alternative purpose" related to Professor Smith on the Task Panel had not yet been completed.

If Professor Smith came to Hogwarts solely to serve Ravenclaw's Knowledge Vault, then his mission should have been accomplished when he stated his purpose for being there.

But... that task was still not completed, which made Albert suspicious that the actual situation was clearly different from what appeared on the surface.

Albert instinctively remained wary of Professor Smith.

After all, in the Harry Potter stories, half of the guys who cause trouble at Hogwarts are connected to the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor.

The mission name "Other Purposes" is also very meaningful.

If Professor Smith wasn't there for Ravenclaw's Knowledge Vault, what was his purpose?

Albert wasn't quite sure yet, but he felt that Isobel might know something, but the other party had never mentioned it, and he didn't know what to do.

Speaking of Isobel, he suddenly remembered the Rune Stone Divination he had once performed. The Divination result was that he would encounter danger that would be difficult to avoid. His own Divination result was similar to Isobel's, except that the Divination result had not yet come true. Was there any connection between the two?

"Anyone else planning to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas, remember to register here," Professor McGonagall's voice interrupted Albert's thoughts.

In early December, Professor McGonagall informed everyone that students staying at Hogwarts for Christmas needed to register. In reality, very few would want to stay at Hogwarts for the holidays. Today, Professor McGonagall brought it up again before the end of her Transfiguration Class to ensure no one was overlooked.

"I think it would be nice to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas; we could explore the castle when no one's around," George muttered during lunch.

"Then why do you still want to go home for the holidays?" Lee Jordan couldn't stand it anymore and couldn't help but tease, "You could apply to stay at school for Christmas."

"No, no, I think it's better to go home for Christmas." George winked at Lee Jordan and said, "Besides, Ron is coming to Hogwarts next year, and as his older brother, we need to tell him some things about the school in advance."

"Tell him how to sort into schools?" Lee Jordan recalled what happened when he was sorting into schools.

"That's a good idea. I've decided to tell Ron that Hogwarts will sort houses through tests," George suddenly said.

"We should tell him that this kind of testing is very harmful to students," Fred added.

"Ron, the one who ate that sour lollipop you guys gave him and ended up burning his tongue?" Albert couldn't help but laugh. "What kind of older brother would betray his own brother like that?"

"Wow, you actually remember this!" The Twins both looked incredulous.

"My memory has always been quite good," Albert said, shaking his head. "Next year, a big shot might appear at Hogwarts School."

"What important person?" the three asked in unison.

"Potter!" Albert tapped the books on the table, reminding him, "The famous Harry Potter. Don't tell me you don't know him. I've seen his name in several books. People in the Wizarding World call him the Savior."

"Potter defeated Lord Voldemort," Fred said, making a large gesture. "He was just a baby back then."

"Everyone is curious about how he did it," George continued. "The Lord Voldemort killed many people, but not Potter. Instead, he was defeated by a baby."

"Is the Lord Voldemort dead?" Albert asked, feigning curiosity.

"He's dead. Many people say he's dead, but Dad says Dumbledore thinks the Lord Voldemort might not be dead," Fred said in a low voice. "Those Dark wizard have a lot of strange magic."

"I'm more curious about why Lord Voldemort failed," George muttered. "Potter is the only one who escaped the Killing Curse."

"Which house do you think Potter will be sorted into?" Lee Jordan changed the subject.

"I hope he comes to Gryffindor," George said without hesitation.

"I also hope he's in our college," Fred immediately chimed in.

"Very likely," Albert nodded.

"Wow!" Fred exclaimed dramatically, "Now I'm even more confident that Potter will be sorted into Gryffindor."

"I had the same feeling," Lee Jordan said seriously. "After all, Albert's mouth is always right, whether it's good or bad news."

"Stop fooling around." Albert rolled his eyes at the three of them and casually explained, "In the school's Trophy Room, there's James Potter's Quidditch Cup. I think he must be a relative of the savior. In the Wizarding World, many wizards go to the same house as their families. Of course, there are a few exceptions."

This was the excuse used to appease Fred and the others; Albert naturally knew that Potter would be sorted into Gryffindor.

"I heard Harry Potter lives with his Muggle relatives," Lee Jordan suddenly said. "He must not be having a good time."

"You'll find out next year. If Potter is thin, it means he's not doing well; if he's fat, it means he's doing well." Albert thought for a moment and then suddenly asked, "By the way, didn't any of you sneak off to visit Harry Potter?"

"No, it was probably because those Dark wizard might harm him, so Potter was protected from a young age. Everyone only knows that he was raised by Muggle relatives, and not many people know where he actually lives," Fred said, shaking his head.

"By the way, have you planned to create a Savior card? I'm really looking forward to it." Lee Jordan's tone was excited; the influence of Wizard Card at Hogwarts was growing.

Now, they often see students playing cards in the cafeteria, Common Room, and on the lawn, discussing how to better arrange their hands.

Wizard Card have now completely overshadowed Wizard's Chess and Gobstones, but students crave more sophisticated Wizard Card.

Unfortunately, the Wizard Card we have now are still in their infancy and require patience and care.

The conversation among the four somehow veered off course and began discussing the matter of registering for the competition. Lee Jordan suggested increasing the number of participants to reduce Albert's expenditure on prize money through registration fees.

"Doing this will only increase our workload," Albert cautioned.

"We can change the rules, as long as they're relatively fair," Fred suggested. "Anyway, only a small percentage of people really know how to play; most people are just there for the fun."

Albert opened his mouth, unsure of what to say.

Fairness and justice? What are those? Just think about the Triwizard Tournament and you'll know there's no such thing as fairness and justice. It's all bullshit, just empty talk. Nobody really takes it seriously. Victory is everything.
