Getting Cocky Again
Room of Requirement, a fierce battle of wits and strategy is underway.
The trio led by Fred, George, and Lee Jordan launched an attack on Albert, but Albert managed to block all of their relentless and intense offensive with his Shield Charm.
At this moment, Charms lights flashed continuously in front of Albert, and the spells coming towards him were deflected by the Shield Charm and were flying around the room.
Compared to the defensive Albert, Fred and his two attackers were in a much worse state, having to dodge the rebounding spells lest they be defeated by their own.
The effects of practicing Shield Charm Shield Charm intensively for the past two weeks are quite noticeable. I can now cast it quickly with just a slight movement of my lips. Of course, the Skill Panel has been a huge help in enabling me to achieve this in such a short time.
Although he had not yet mastered the Silent Spell, it was easy to see how familiar Albert was with the Shield Charm from how quickly he blocked the attacks of Fred and his two companions.
Of course, this situation cannot last long.
There's a saying, "One should press on with one's might, but the momentum will wane on the second attempt and be exhausted on the third."
That's roughly the situation.
To Albert's regret, he couldn't control the angle at which the Shield Charm could deflect the spell; it would have been better if he could have prepared to deflect the spell back at the caster.
Before Albert could catch his breath, Fred and his two companions stopped their attack.
"Congratulations, you've become even more powerful." George struggled to his feet; he was the only unlucky one knocked down by the rebounding spell.
"I'm not the only one who's become more capable."
Albert reached up and rubbed his lips. There was no way around it; no matter how eloquent someone was, after reciting the Shield Charm dozens of times in one breath, they would need to stop and catch their breath.
"Come on, don't think I don't know. The three of us were all brought here by you to be your sparring partners," Fred said resentfully.
Magic training? It's all nonsense.
They were all tools that Albert had brought in to be free sparring partners, especially after Albert became increasingly skilled at using the Shield Charm, all three of them realized this.
What angered them most was that even when the three of them attacked together, they still couldn't do anything to Albert. Instead, they had to dodge the reflected magic in a sorry state to avoid being killed by their own spells.
"What do you mean you're here to spar with me?" Albert said irritably. "It seems like you haven't learned anything from what you've said?"
If we have to talk about what they gained, Fred and his two companions gained more than Albert.
Unfortunately, all three of them had relatively poor foundations, and the benefits they gained from practice these past few days far exceeded those of Albert.
The main reason is that what just happened made them feel unbalanced.
"I'm here to be your sparring partner," Albert said shamelessly.
As soon as he finished speaking, he was met with a chorus of boos from the three men.
"I really don't know how you did it," Lee Jordan couldn't help but mutter.
Using the Shield Charm to quickly block the three people's Obstruction Jinx attack was no easy task.
The three of them had used the Obstruction Jinx countless times in the past few days.
Currently, all three are proficient in using the Obstruction Jinx, which can be easily used by simply chanting the incantation, and its power is much stronger than before.
"Didn't you notice my lips are about to cramp up?" Albert said irritably. "My goal is to cast the Shield Charm using the Silent Spell."
"Come on, I heard from others that the Silent Spell won't be taught until the Advanced Class in sixth grade. When practicing it, you have to hold your breath, like you've been constipated for days." Lee Jordan also put a lot of effort into it and made great progress as well.
"Furthermore, the power of the spell will be weakened if Silent Spell is used!"
"Silent Spell can speed up the casting process." Albert didn't seem to care about that, and reminded him, "In a critical moment, there's no time for you to shout out the spell. Besides, you saw it just now, your mouth was almost cramping from chanting the spell."
Most importantly, Albert himself possessed great magical power, and the Shield Charm he used was equally powerful. Even when Fred, George, and Lee Jordan attacked with Obstruction Jinx simultaneously, they were still unable to break through Albert's Shield Charm.
The three of them had tried it before, but the spell bounced off the Shield Charm. Luckily, they dodged quickly, or they would have been in real trouble.
"When are we going to the Forbidden Forest to search for Gryffindor's Secret Treasure?" Fred couldn't help but change the subject; he was really looking forward to searching for Gryffindor's Secret Treasure again.
With Albert's help, the success rate of treasure hunting can be increased by at least Third Floor, and it will be much safer and more secure.
"Not yet, at least not now. With your level, you think you can enter the Forbidden Forest?" Albert interrupted impatiently. "Keep practicing your spells and try to enter the forest to search for treasure in the days after the exams."
"Those few days after the exam?" George stared at Albert with wide eyes, as if he had heard something unbelievable.
"Don't be silly, we're not going there to die. I'll prepare extra food to ensure everyone's safety. It would be such a waste if we died in the Forbidden Forest for no reason!"
"But..." Lee Jordan was frustrated, but ultimately agreed with Albert's point of view.
After all, this roommate has always been very reliable, and the Forbidden Forest is not only home to Acromantula, but is indeed very dangerous.
"If we master the Spider Repelling Spell, we should be able to easily deal with those Acromantula," Fred muttered. All four of them already knew the spell; they just needed to practice it a few more times until they were proficient, and then they wouldn't be afraid of those giant spiders anymore.
"The most dangerous thing about the Acromantula is its skill in ambushes. After you've completely mastered the Spider Repelling Spell, we'll have to do intensive training. Then I'll see if I can find a suitable place to practice the spell." Albert couldn't help but roll his eyes at Fred, quite speechless. He hadn't expected Fred to get so cocky. It seemed he hadn't experienced the harsh realities of life!
All three were disappointed, having expected Albert to take them into the Forbidden Forest at Easter to search for Gryffindor's treasure.
"Never take a risk without being prepared, if possible," Albert advised, putting away his wand.
"Gryffindor students are never short of courage."
"You call that courage?" Albert was furious. "If you're lucky enough, then it is courage; if you're unlucky enough to die, then it's stupidity and recklessness."
"I think you're very lucky!" the Twins looked at each other and said in unison.
"Am I very lucky?"
Albert's face twitched involuntarily a few times.
Am I really that lucky?
Perhaps, but Albert's luck stemmed more from the fact that he was always prepared, and even when he encountered problems, he always had a solution.
"Isn't it good?"
"You bastard, you're so lucky, yet you dare to pretend you're unlucky?" Fred's eyes twitched slightly, and he almost pointed at Albert and cursed him out.
I have never seen such a shameless person.
As far as they knew, Albert had never lost a bet, which was incredibly lucky.
"Ahem, alright, even if we get lucky, we still need to be fully prepared. I don't want to become food for the Acromantula." Albert couldn't understand the three's thinking. Were they completely unaware of the Forbidden Forest's danger level? Or had they become arrogant after learning a little magic? Yesterday's...
