The Headmaster Invites You for Tea
"Look, this report..."
While having breakfast, George was casually flipping through the Daily Prophet, suddenly shouted, startling everyone around him.
"Don't yell so early in the morning!" Lee Jordan glared at George angrily; the shout had startled him so much that he dropped the slice of bread in his hand.
Albert covered a yawn, spread jam on his bread, took a bite, and then leaned over to look at the Daily Prophet that George was pushing towards him.
There is a paper about Baruffio's Brain Elixir above. The Ministry of Magic is reminding everyone not to believe in or use Baruffio's Brain Elixir indiscriminately, because all Baruffio's Brain Elixir available on the market is poisonous.
"I thought something was wrong." Albert covered another yawn. "Turns out, it was just to scare people!"
"Trying to scare people?" Lee Jordan reached for the newspaper, read it carefully, and said, "It must be true, right?"
"It's true, that's exactly what the newspapers said. However, the newspapers exaggerated the situation." Albert finished his slice of bread with jam in a few bites and muttered, "That's a clever method, more useful than making any laws."
"Why?" George didn't understand why Albert would say that.
"The law can have loopholes, and if I told you outright that the Baruffio's Brain Elixir you buy on the market is poisonous, would you still spend a lot of Galleon to buy a bottle of poisonous Potions to try it out?" Albert said with a sneer. "Speaking of which, that Slytherin student was really unlucky, getting dragged out and whipped by the Daily Prophet."
"That's true. I doubt anyone would dare buy those Baruffio's Brain Elixir anymore." Fred closed the newspaper and looked at Albert, saying, "However, this means your plan is probably going to fall through!"
"Who said that? Haven't you guys heard of the brand?" Albert looked at his roommates and said mysteriously.
"I don't understand!" The three of them shook their heads in unison.
"Hmm... like Floo Powder, besides Floo-Pow Company., do you buy Floo Powder from anywhere else?" Albert thought for a moment and gave a simple example.
It is said that there are fake Floo Powder on the market that can blast wizards out of fireplaces.
"It seems... no!"
The three looked at each other, then turned their attention back to Albert.
"However, this is not so easy... Oh, I see, I think I understand what you mean.
"I was just giving an example offhand."
Albert added another fried egg to his plate and looked up at the sky.
The email has arrived!
Dozens of owls flew into the hall, Accio above the students' heads and dropping letters or packages to the recipients.
Fortunately, owls come and go quickly; otherwise, how could one bear to have poop fall from the sky while eating breakfast?
Albert received two letters, along with a package that looked quite heavy.
"The sender's name isn't written on it," George said, frowning.
"I know."
Albert opened the package, took out the bag inside, mouthed "shut up" to his three roommates, and then quickly stuffed the bag, which made a faint metallic clanging sound, into his pocket.
He made a fortune of Galleon selling Baruffio's Brain Elixir, and although he didn't count the gold coins immediately, he wasn't worried about others defaulting on their debts.
"A fortune!" Fred couldn't help but mutter. "How much?"
Albert raised three fingers and shook them.
"That's great. But will they dare to use it? I heard the Ministry of Magic is being particularly strict with cheating this year."
"Don't be silly. If it were that easy to detect, the Ministry of Magic would have done it long ago," Albert said dismissively.
The Ministry of Magic did not check whether students were taking Baruffio's Brain Elixir, mainly because it was troublesome and wasteful.
Like Felix Felicis 'Baruffio's Brain Elixir has an extremely complex manufacturing process, very high material costs, and a very low success rate. Failed products can cause poisoning if consumed. It is completely unrealistic for ordinary students to buy this Potions to cheat. Even if you could buy it, you would have to consider whether you are taking the risk.
Brain Boosting Potion and the use of Dragon claw powder are the two most common ways to cheat on exams, but the Ministry of Magic has long been prepared to prevent them.
As for Legilimency, many students have never even heard of it, and Legilimency it is no easy feat. Most wizards may not even come into contact with it before graduation.
"Mr. Anderson." A voice came from behind Albert.
Albert put down his knife and fork, turned around, and found Professor McGonagall standing behind him.
"Good morning, Professor McGonagall," Albert greeted her immediately.
"Dumbledore wants to see you." Professor McGonagall gestured for Albert to come with her to the Headmaster's Office.
"Um... Professor, I have class later."
"Mr. Weasley, remember to ask for leave for Mr. Anderson," Professor McGonagall said without hesitation.
"See you later!" Albert finished the rest of his food in a few bites, tossed his schoolbag to George, waved to the crowd, and followed Professor McGonagall.
Albert certainly knew why the principal had sought him out.
Dumbledore estimated that he had read most of the letter he sent yesterday and was going to go and confirm it.
Albert had already woven a story, both real and fictional, into his mind, and he was ready for this day.
The two silently turned a corner and stopped in front of a Griffin.
"Chocolate Frog!!"
After she gave the command, the Griffin came to life, revealing a spiral staircase behind the wall. Albert and Professor McGonagall stepped onto it and followed the escalator to the front of the Headmaster's Office.
Professor McGonagall knocked on the door and led Albert inside, but no one was there; Dumbledore was nowhere to be seen.
Professor McGonagall told Albert to wait, then turned and left, leaving him alone in the Headmaster's Office.
Dumbledore didn't keep Albert waiting long; he walked in from outside the office, having apparently gone out for some business.
"Mr. Anderson," Dumbledore said, smiling at Albert, "I have read your letter..."
"If you're looking for the Diadem in the photograph, I'll take you there right now," Albert said softly, looking at Dumbledore.
"Let's go then!" Dumbledore nodded, quite satisfied with the efficiency.
"Principal, what do you think that is?" Albert asked softly.
"It's hard to say; we'll have to see the actual item to know." Dumbledore followed Albert to the opposite side of the tapestry Troll Bashing Barnabus.
"Right here," Albert said. "I call it the Room of Requirement."
"Always ready to grant your request?"
"Hmm, it can be transformed into the room you need; I feel that's a fitting name." Albert asked curiously, "Doesn't Dumbledore know about this place?"
"Although I am the headmaster of Hogwarts, I may not know all the secrets of the school." Dumbledore winked at Albert. "However, I think I once went in by chance. At that time, there was a room with many exquisite chamber pots. When I came out, the room suddenly disappeared."
"Hold on"
Albert walked back and forth three times, and after waiting for the door of the Room of Requirement to open, he went in first.
"How did Mr. Anderson discover this place?" Dumbledore asked curiously, looking around at the rubbish.
"I wasn't the one who discovered this place first." Albert briefly recounted Fred and George's nighttime outing, and then explained how he deduced and found the correct way to open the Room of Requirement.
