A new car doesn't necessarily mean it's of good quality.

On their way to the France ski resort, the Anderson family's tour bus broke down twice, a disaster for the passengers on board who were heading to the mountain resort.

"This is absolutely the most unreliable hostel I've ever encountered." Nia turned her head to look out the window. The long wait was making her lose patience. The passengers on the bus had been waiting for more than an hour. It was a disaster.

"Perhaps we should go on vacation to the Isle of Wight," Daisy, staring at her husband with a hint of reproach in her voice.

"They should buy Germany cars. It's well known that tour buses from that country don't break down easily," Herb muttered, avoiding his wife's gaze.

The Anderson family originally planned to vacation on the Isle of Wight. However, considering they had already vacationed on the France coast last year, they changed their plans and decided to go skiing in the Alps instead.

In the sweltering summer, a skiing vacation is undoubtedly a great way to escape the heat. Of course, this is also because the Anderson family had been planning to go skiing for a long time.

"Alright, have something to eat, and close your eyes and rest if you're tired!" Albert took a small jar of candy out of his pocket and placed it in Nia's hand; it was candy he had bought from Honeydukes.

"That thing is really useful, it can hold a lot of things. How is Tom?" Nia took the candy, popped one into her mouth, and then handed the candy to Mr. and Mrs. Herb, who were sitting in front of them.

"It's doing great, just finished eating and is taking a nap!" Albert muttered as he observed Tom in the box. Albert had never intended to abide by any Wizarding World laws from the beginning, using the Undetectable Extension Charm to create a lot of "spatial equipment" for himself.

With this, Tom no longer needed his grandfather's help. Albert simply hid Tom in the small box and smuggled him over.

"Are you planning to bring Tom to school this semester?" Nia suddenly asked.

"Yes, Nia is going to Castleton School," Albert suddenly said. Nia's grades weren't bad, but perhaps it was the pressure Albert was putting on her that made things better.

"If I don't receive an invitation from Hogwarts!" Nia muttered.

Daisy was happy about this for a long time.

The tour bus continued to move slowly forward, arriving at the ski resort after dark.

The drowsy passengers on the bus were quickly drawn to the beautiful scenery around them, while the children who had never skied before looked around, searching for the legendary cable car and gondola.

A moment later, the tour bus stopped in front of a Third Floor- story hotel. The passengers, who had put their coats back on, couldn't wait to leave the stuffy and oppressive carriage and flocked to the hotel lobby in twos and threes.

The Anderson family had booked a double bedroom in advance. As soon as they closed the door, Albert let Tom out of the box. The fat cat, having just arrived in a strange place, began sniffing around, seemingly trying to identify the surrounding scents.

"Mom," Nia asked, "Is Tom cold?"

"I've prepared a cotton-padded jacket for Tom!" Daisy handed the little cotton-padded jacket she had prepared for Tom to Nia.

"Mom, you bought it too small!" Nia held up the cotton-padded coat to Tom and shook her head. "How could Tom possibly fit into this?"

"Don't worry, Tom is so fat, he's very cold-resistant!" Albert shooed the guy off the bed. "Maybe we can take this opportunity to help him lose some weight."

"Meow!" Tom meowed in dissatisfaction, jumped onto the sofa, and squatted down.

"Hahaha!"

They had a local France meal in the hotel's large restaurant, and then Herb and Daisy went back to their room to sleep.

Albert planned to take Nia around the resort, but Herb wasn't worried; he knew his son's abilities very well.

The resort was bathed in beautiful lights at night, with its various France -style hotels and restaurants. Night skiing was also available, but Albert didn't take Nia to try it. He took the resort's brochure and led Nia around to explore, hoping to find some interesting places or delicious food.

The resort was huge, offering a variety of entertainment options besides skiing. Albert took Nia to explore the nearby restaurants and find a place to rent ski equipment.

"The resort's guidebook is a total rip-off!" Nia complained as soon as she stepped out of the ski equipment store. If she hadn't gone out to explore, she wouldn't have known that the ski equipment rental shop recommended by the resort was much more expensive than other shops.

Of course, the ski equipment was better, but Albert didn't think it was worth the price.

Some tourists who had borrowed ski equipment couldn't wait to ski on a Snow Slope next to the town, but not all tourists who come here for vacation are good at skiing.

The beverage shop next to the small Snow Slope had a large floor-to-ceiling window. Albert and Nia drank coffee while watching a group of people skiing on the Snow Slope.

During the day, it's a place for beginners to practice skiing, and at night it's a ski resort for people who want to ski, since it's not safe to go far at night.

"Your hot cocoa." Albert handed a cup of hot drink to Nia. "Drink it and go back to sleep. You can go skiing again tomorrow."

"Mmm," Nia responded.

"What's wrong?" Albert followed Nia's gaze and saw someone skiing on the Snow Slope.

Well, actually, everyone except the woman with the long, cascading silver hair stopped and stared at her.

"Don't look," Nia muttered. "That woman is strange."

"Yes," Albert agreed, "She is indeed very beautiful."

After Albert finished speaking, he noticed that Nia was glaring at him with displeasure, so he quickly chimed in, "Of course, Nia also very cute."

"Snort!"

Nia curled her lip in disdain and reminded her, "Look at the reactions of the others, they're all mesmerized, acting like idiots." Even after the girl left, quite a few men still turned their heads to watch her departing figure.

A moment later, a noisy argument broke out in the store. All the men with female companions were in for a bad time. After all, no matter how good-tempered anyone is, they would get angry, jealous, and argue with their boyfriend if they saw him staring at another woman.

"Do you know what happened?" Nia asked curiously. Come to think of it, you don't seem to have been affected.

"That's because of my strong will." Albert had guessed what was going on.

That girl might be a Veela, or have Veela blood.

Albert remembers that during the Triwizard Tournament, there was a beautiful Veela blood contestant, but the ages of the two contestants didn't match.

"That woman is a witch, right?" Nia suddenly asked.

"Why do you say that?" Albert countered.

"I think she might have used some kind of magic, which is why those people are so fascinated by her," Nia said with certainty. Ever since she learned of the existence of magic, she has tried to attribute many illogical things to it.

"Well, the other party might be a Veela, or a wizard with Veela blood." Albert did not deny this. "However, it is indeed a bit strange for a wizard to appear in the Muggle World."

"If I use magic, can I become that charming too?" Nia asked quickly.

"You're already very charming," Albert said with a smile. "Besides, the beauty that magic brings is usually fleeting, so there's nothing to envy."

"We should go back now, so they don't worry."
