Wand Lore
To be honest, Daisy completely disapproved of Albert spending a few days with someone else and was unhappy that her son was going to be out of her sight during the summer vacation.
However, Albert eventually succeeded in persuading the the Andersons, and Grandpa Luke "coincidentally" invited Nia to stay for a few days.
Sansa welcomed her granddaughter, though she was somewhat unhappy about Albert going to Hogwarts. After all, in the old woman's eyes, a genius like Albert would have a better future at a good secondary school.
Nia got into a good high school, which pleased Sansa. In fact, not only her, Herb and Daisy were also very happy; probably only Nia in the whole family was unhappy.
"Don't give Tom too many snacks!"
As Nia carried Tom out of the car, Albert didn't forget to give her some instructions.
Nia pouted and said, "Remember to buy me a present."
"Knew!"
"Take care of yourself," Daisy kissed Herb's cheek and looked at Albert, giving him a word of advice.
"I will."
More than an hour later, they finally arrived at the Leaky Cauldron in London. Albert led Herb into the pub, and they both noticed that there were fewer customers inside.
Albert's gaze fell on the bar wall, where the Gringotts Goblin had posted wanted posters for thieves.
In reality, the Goblin had no idea who had broken into Gringotts; they could only deduce from the fact that the vault door had been Fiendfyre that it was the work of a Dark wizard.
This wanted poster is utterly insincere. Keep in mind that both Harry Potter and Black's wanted posters cost 10,000 Galleon, while the wanted poster on the wall in front of Albert only costs 1,000 Galleon.
The Goblin of Gringotts are all misers.
However, Diagon Alley was as lively as ever, and Herb and Albert planned to go to Gringotts first to exchange for Galleon.
Although Albert had a sum of Galleon on him, he didn't intend to touch his personal savings. After all, that was his seed money for the future.
As for the pound sterling, once he learns Crystal Ball Divination, he can try to see if the family can win a prize or something, then the family won't be short of pounds sterling.
Perhaps because it had just been invaded and robbed by Dark wizard, Gringotts had several more wizard security guards carrying metal rods. They were very unfriendly to the customers coming and going, and it took the two of them some time to get inside and exchange their pounds for Galleon.
"I feel like they treat every guest like a robber?" Herb muttered. He hated the way the Goblin looked at them.
"Actually, it's quite possible. There's supposedly a Potions that can temporarily turn someone into another person," Albert said quietly, blinking. "However, I think the Goblin are probably just trying to salvage their reputation. After all, if a bunch of Dark wizard can break into Gringotts and steal, who would dare to deposit money here?"
Albert did not consider Gringotts ' security system to be very safe.
Gringotts' biggest problem, to Apparition is extremely fatal to invaders. Even if they manage to steal the money, they cannot escape the complex caves, let alone escape the pursuit of wizards and Goblin in such a complex environment. But... Gringotts has a fatal flaw.
House-elf ' Apparition is unrestricted here because the three magical systems are different. Magic that prevents wizards from Apparition cannot prevent House-elf from Apparition; Hogwarts School is the best example of this.
However, this point is often forgotten.
Just as Albert left Gringotts, he saw the Weasley family preparing to go into Gringotts to withdraw money.
"This is Albert Anderson, whom we've mentioned before," Fred introduced Albert to his father. "My father, my mother, and Ron, whom we've mentioned before."
Albert's gaze lingered on Ron for a moment; he was a tall, thin boy with freckles who looked somewhat clumsy.
"Hello," Albert introduced, "This is my father."
"Hello, Mr. Anderson," Mr. Weasley said, shaking hands with Herb with pleasure. "Are you a wizard?"
"No." Herb shook hands with Mr. Weasley quite calmly. Ever since he spent several days with the Delacour family last time, he hadn't felt much for wizards. After all, as a lawyer, Herb was quite adept at handling interpersonal relationships.
Mr. Weasley insisted on taking Herb to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink, leaving Mrs. Weasley with the responsibility of shopping and getting money.
Once the adults left, the initial feeling of restraint largely disappeared.
"Congratulations, Percy! I heard you became Prefect." Albert greeted Percy with a smile.
"Thank you!" Percy solemnly extended his hand and shook his.
Albert barely managed to suppress a laugh at this leader's airs.
"Oh, Percy, you're Prefect?" Fred said, feigning surprise. "You should have told us sooner; I had no idea."
"I remember him saying it," George said, "Once—twice?"
"No, no, he's been saying it all summer!"
Fred and George both laughed heartily.
"Shut up," Percy snapped.
Soon after, Mrs. Weasley returned, ready to take Ron to buy the items on the list. Before they parted ways at Gringotts, Percy received ten Galleon from Mrs. Weasley, which made the others envious.
"My dear, do you need me to buy you a new book?" Mrs. Weasley asked.
"Thank you, Mrs. Weasley." Albert handed the book list along with a small bag of Galleon to Mrs. Weasley.
"So much!"
Mrs. Weasley was startled when she saw the row of book titles on the parchment.
"Well, like Percy, I plan to take all the courses in my third year," Albert explained casually. "Thank you."
"You're welcome. Keep an eye on those two for me, make sure Fred and George don't wander off."
"We don't need anyone watching us," Fred and George couldn't help but complain.
"See you later!" Albert turned to the Twins and said, "Alright, let's go, I still have a lot of things to buy."
Passing by Florean's ice cream shop, Albert bought three strawberry chocolate ice creams and ate them as he strolled around. Fred and George enthusiastically pointed out interesting places in Diagon Alley Albert. They soon turned into a shop selling Dr. Filibuster's Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks, Albert bought some as a gift for Nia.
Albert reordered a robe at Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions, replenished his medicine at the apothecary, and bought a crystal ball at the Magic Goods Shop before turning into an old shop filled with tattered wands, bronze scales, and old cloaks.
"Don't you already have a wand?" Fred asked, puzzled, as he saw Albert rummaging through his old wand.
"Um, I'm a little interested in Wand Lore." Albert picked out a wand that he was comfortable using and paid for it with one Galleon.
"I really don't understand what you're thinking," George muttered.
"Never think you have too few wands; it never hurts to have an extra one," Albert said mysteriously, "Even if you never use it."
