"It really is Harry Potter! I saw the Lightning Scar on his forehead with my own eyes!" Shortly after the train started moving, Fred and George hurried back to the carriage, bringing them good news: Harry Potter was on this train.
"Did Harry Potter really go into the station with you guys?" Lee Jordan asked incredulously. Wasn't that just a lie Albert the bastard was making up to deceive him? "That dark-haired boy was indeed Harry Potter. But he doesn't seem to be doing too well with the Muggle." George, sitting opposite Albert, looked at the large spider in the Insect Box on the table and asked curiously, "Where did you get this big guy?"
"A big one? This one isn't that big!" Fred tapped the Insect Box with his index finger, but the Bag Spider inside didn't react.
Are you really planning to keep this?
"No, I've realized I might not be able to afford to keep it, and I'm considering whether to... release it." Lee Jordan's tone was filled with barely concealed frustration.
"Why?" Fred asked, puzzled.
"If you don't want it, then give it to me!"
Lee Jordan couldn't help but roll his eyes and said irritably, "I'd rather release it and let it live in the forest."
George, who was standing next to him, couldn't help but ask, "Can I take it out and have a look?"
"It's best not to," Lee Jordan shook his head and refused. "It's a poisonous spider. If you get bitten and poisoned, there's nothing I can do."
"It's okay, we can just amputate it later." Albert said with a sly smile, "Cut off the bitten arm before the venom spreads all over your body."
George's face twitched involuntarily. Although he felt that Albert's statement was far too exaggerated, he temporarily abandoned that dangerous idea.
"By the way, your cat is even fatter than in the last photo!" Fred reached out to pet the cat, but ended up tearing his clothes.
"The real culprit!"
"You should try to bribe it with food first!" George suggested gleefully.
"What does your cat eat?" Fred asked, pulling out his wand to repair the scratches on his clothes and looking at the fat cat squatting on the table.
"Dried fish!"
"Can't it find its own food?"
"No, if I could, I wouldn't have needed to bring it to Hogwarts," Albert said with a hint of helplessness.
"It's so chubby, it looks really nice to touch," George muttered to himself, but seeing Fred's unfortunate state earlier, he temporarily abandoned the idea of petting the cat.
Unable to pet the cat, the Twins had other activities, such as teasing spiders. They used sticks provided by Lee Jordan to tease the Bag Spider in the Insect Box, trying to get them moving.
What do Bag Spider eat?
"Dried fish!" Albert said without hesitation.
"Stop messing around!" Fred tried to tease Tom with a stick, but Tom ignored him and jumped off the table, squatting on Albert's lap.
"Be careful Tom doesn't throw a dead mouse on your bed tonight," Albert said with a half-smile.
"Your dog can even catch mice."
What does this thing eat?
"Frogs, mice, or other insects," Lee Jordan said with a wry smile. "The school has no idea where to get these foods."
"You don't believe me?" Albert took out a small bag of dried fish from his pocket, tore open the packaging, casually stuffed one into Tom, and then put two more dried fish into the Insect Box.
The Bag Spider was quickly attracted by the food and immediately pounced on it, tearing at the dried fish. The three people who saw this felt uneasy.
"See? This thing eats dried fish," Albert said smugly.
Tom was furious when he saw that his food rations had been stolen. He stared at the spider in the box and let out a wary cry.
"I've never heard of spiders eating dried fish." Lee Jordan seemed to be considering whether he should feed Bag Spider dried fish in the future.
"You could try Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans," Fred suddenly said.
"Spiders eat meat, so fish meat is meat too," Albert joked. "As for Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, even Lee Jordan probably wouldn't have enough!"
Lee Jordan actually took out some leftover Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans and threw a few into the Insect Box, but unfortunately the Bag Spider had no interest in them whatsoever.
"Don't force a spider to do something it can't do."
Lee Jordan was a little discouraged and asked Albert about the price of that dried fish.
"Not too expensive, five pounds for a big bag. Hmm, that's about one Galleon." Albert stopped teasing him and asked, "Why didn't you go to the Magical Creature Shop in Diagon Alley to buy some food for your spider?"
Fred and George exchanged bewildered glances. Buying food for the pet—were they worried they didn't have enough Galleon? "How much do you think it will cost?" Lee Jordan couldn't help but ask.
"It won't take many Galleon. I often buy Owlnuts for Shera," Albert said after thinking for a moment. "One Galleon should be enough to last her for a long time."
"One Galleon!" Lee Jordan's face fell instantly.
"Keeping pets is expensive," Albert kindly reminded him, "Especially keeping a fat cat like this."
"You're right, maybe I should give up on raising this spendthrift." Lee Jordan was even more frustrated as he looked at Tom, who was staring at Albert's pocket. He envied Albert's ability to spend money freely, but unfortunately he didn't have Albert's earning power.
"Okay, don't be sad, I'll treat you to some candy." Fred took a few toffee candies out of his pocket and handed them to Lee Jordan. George gave Albert a look, signaling him not to stop him.
Lee Jordan looked at the toffee in front of him suspiciously, then sized up the guys in front of him before unwrapping the candy and stuffing it into his mouth.
"The taste of your toffee..." Lee Jordan chewed on the toffee, then suddenly frowned and began to cough violently.
A long, sticky, purplish-red tongue emerged from Lee Jordan's mouth, causing him to gag repeatedly.
"Looks like you've succeeded!" Albert immediately pulled out his wand and helped Lee Jordan turn his tongue back into normal.
"Cough cough, you bastard, what did you feed me just now!" After recovering, Lee Jordan pounced on Fred and only stopped after causing a huge scene.
Albert struggled to suppress his laughter.
"You bastard, did you know that too?" Lee Jordan glared at Albert, swearing that the guy definitely knew what that toffee was.
"You didn't even recognize it."
Albert peeled open a Fat Tongue Toffee, smelled it, and said to Fred and George, "The Swelling Solution taste has faded a lot, but it's still there. With a little improvement, it should be almost right. Of course, you can add other flavors to dilute the Swelling Solution taste."
As he spoke, under the stunned gazes of the three, Albert tossed the toffee into his mouth, chewed it a couple of times, and swallowed it, simply commenting, "The toffee doesn't taste very good, but you can still taste some difference."
"Why you..." Lee Jordan stared at Albert in disbelief, his admiration replaced by astonishment.
"You mean it didn't work?"
The three nodded stiffly.
"Because I only chewed it a few times before swallowing it," Albert explained casually. "That stuff also has medicinal effects. There isn't much Swelling Solution in the Fat Tongue Toffee, so if you don't chew it a few times, it won't have any medicinal effect."
"What do you think about us selling this stuff at school?" Fred asked tentatively. They hoped to make their first Galleon with it.
"Now is not the time. You won't even make much money yet. Besides, this kind of thing is actually very easy to imitate. I suggest that you wait until you have invented more products before selling them together, and at the same time, build your reputation." Albert thought for a moment and gave his advice. "Right now, what you need to do is invent and accumulate your own products to prepare for opening a store in the future. After all, products are the most basic thing."
