The Tone Is All Wrong
After a few days at school, Albert regretted taking all the courses; he felt he must have gotten his head stuck in a door.
It's so frustrating. Just thinking about finishing one class and not even having time to catch your breath before having to rush to another one makes the time pressure feel like it's driving you crazy.
What troubled Albert was not the course content; the knowledge in the textbooks was not difficult for him, just think about what Muggle Studies is all about.
The textbook on Muggle Studies is called "Family Life and Social Habits of Britain Muggle," and just by looking at the title, you can tell what it's about.
Kerridi Burbage is a pro- Muggle witch who tells everyone in the first class of Muggle Studies that there is no difference between wizards and Muggle.
Albert had some doubts about whether this Muggle Studies professor truly understood Muggle, or whether he had spent more than a year in the Muggle World without using magic.
There is no denying that Professor Burbage Kerridi Bubbaji is a Muggle Studies expert.
All right!
Based on his past life experience, Albert dislikes the word "expert".
Why did I choose to take all the courses?
In fact, Albert wanted to obtain the Time-Turner Time-Turner. He hoped to acquire it through a mission or learn how to manufacture Time-Turner.
Albert didn't really care about the mystery of time; he knew very well that the thing was dangerous, but having it would give him a lot of leeway in dealing with things.
Of course, the Time-Turner needs to be used with great care, and Albert is extra careful every time he uses it. However, the most annoying and unbearable thing for him is having to walk a long way to class every day.
Having to climb up and down several floors in the castle all day is much more physically demanding than any other activity, and even if you can take a shortcut, the situation is still not much better.
Albert even suspected that Tom would quickly lose weight if he went to school with him every day.
Well, that's a good idea, but putting it into practice will ultimately be difficult.
He can't possibly bring a cat to class every day.
Because of bringing Tom to the Common Room, all the students in Gryffindor now know that the famous Albert Anderson owns a very fat British Shorthair Cat, and that he often plays with the cat in the Common Room with a feather whenever he has free time.
"Albert." Quidditch captain Wood walked over, stood in front of Albert, and patted him on the shoulder meaningfully, saying, "Remember to attend training this weekend."
"Wood, please let me go. I have Twelve courses to do, and I simply don't have any extra time to play Quidditch." Albert picked up Tom, looked up at the Quidditch captain standing in front of him, and said with a helpless expression.
"Just finishing my daily homework is already a struggle."
"We can't find a suitable Seeker." Wood showed no intention of backing down, picking up a cat toy and waving it as he asked, "Besides, are you sure you don't have the extra time?"
Wood didn't believe Albert's nonsense at all.
No extra time? Really not that much time? Do you still have time to play with cats here every day? "You can select players. Anyway, there's still a long time before the competition starts. I guarantee you'll find a more suitable Seeker." Albert practically patted his chest to assure him. "I Prophecy for you. This year, Gryffindor will have a young Seeker joining. Trust me, you'll soon find a player even better than me."
"What kind of Prophecy is this? Don't you know what everyone says about Professor Trelawney?" Wood felt that Albert was just brushing him off. He really couldn't understand why such a talented Seeker wouldn't join the team and bring glory to the academy. "If... I mean next month, and you really haven't selected a suitable Seeker, I certainly won't refuse." Albert glanced at the notice for the freshman Flying Class posted on the Common Room bulletin board and said, "Don't forget what you said." Wood nudged Albert's shoulder and said, "Don't even think about making excuses then."
"I feel Wood is going to lose."
After Wood left, George, who was writing a paper on Shrinking Solution, whispered to Lee Jordan next to him, "Albert has never lost a bet."
"I think so too. Something must have happened that we don't know about," Fred muttered. They all knew that Albert rarely did anything he wasn't sure of. The fact that he dared to bet with Wood meant he must have been confident of winning.
As for who will replace Albert as Gryffindor Team's Seeker? The three of them looked in a certain direction, their gazes falling on Harry, who was Wizard's Chess with Ron, and they began to whisper among themselves again.
"Harry Potter was the last person Albert mentioned, wasn't he?"
Do you think Harry Potter would actually be very good at flying?
"I don't know," George said hesitantly. "However, his father is really good at it, winning several trophies for the academy. And I think Albert is usually right."
"We should have the results within this month."
"I have a feeling it might not be that long," Fred muttered, glancing at the notice board. "Hey Albert, don't you have any homework to do?"
Albert patted Tom's fat belly and said with a smile, "I'm done."
"When did you finish?" Lee Jordan asked in surprise.
Not long after the start of the semester, the professors couldn't wait to assign them a ton of homework. Now they have several more courses than before, making their workload particularly heavy.
"Yesterday."
"You actually told Wood you didn't have time." Fred gave him a look that said, "Be careful, I'll tell on you."
"I'm telling the truth," Albert said, nodding earnestly. "I have Twelve courses now, and I have more homework every day than you do."
He sat down in the empty seat next to the others, while Tom was placed on the table beside him, taking up a large amount of space. Sensing someone looking at him, Albert turned his head and asked with a smile, "Is there something you need, Miss Granger?"
Hermione quickly looked away and refocused her attention on her book.
"Your charm is as amazing as ever," Fred couldn't help but tease. "If you could catch a few more Golden Snitch for our academy, you'd be absolutely irresistible."
Albert couldn't help but roll his eyes at Fred and casually said, "She was probably looking at Tom just now. My cat always wins over the girls."
"That's true." Angelina walked over, reached out and patted Tom's head, and said to Albert, "I heard from Wood that you're joining the team. We have a good chance of winning the Quidditch Cup this year. By the way, Aylia and Katie are also official players this year."
"How did you do that?" Fred asked in astonishment.
"What? How did you do that?" Angelina didn't understand Fred's words.
"This fat cat never lets us touch it," George said with a hint of resentment. "I almost got caught last time."
"Because you're not a woman," Lee Jordan muttered under his breath.
"That's because you have ill intentions," Albert said, glancing at Lee Jordan. "Cats have a better sense of things than we do; if you have ill intentions, they will avoid you."
Of course, despite saying that, Albert wasn't really sure what the situation was.
"Oh, right, there's one more thing, I almost forgot." Angelina, who was about to walk away, suddenly stopped and turned to look at Albert.
"What's up?"
"When will this year's Wizard Card Competition be held? And you mentioned last time that the Wizard Card will be completely revamped this semester. When will we be able to get the new cards?"
"This..." Albert was very troubled because he really hadn't prepared. There was just too much to keep him busy.
"Don't forget about this, everyone's really looking forward to it." Angelina said before turning and heading back to the Girls' Dormitory.
"Don't tell me you've really forgotten about this." Lee Jordan was still very concerned about the Wizard Card Club.
"I couldn't use magic for most of the summer," Albert muttered. "What?"
Suddenly, they heard an explosion from the side. They all turned their heads to look in the direction of the sound and saw a cloud of black smoke rising from the teacup in front of a boy whose face was blackened by the smoke.
"Cool, is that a new hairstyle?" Lee Jordan sized up the freshman, got up and walked over, waving his teacup still smoldering, and asked the person next to him with a smile, "What were you doing just now?"
"It seems like they're trying to turn the water in the glass into red wine," the boy sitting next to me, whose cheeks were slightly blackened by the smoke, said uncertainly.
"Hmm?" Fred and George also curiously gathered around, grinning as they said, "Speaking of which, how did he make the cup explode? Maybe we'll need that spell sometime."
"Blow the toilet up?"
"That's a good idea."
"If I find out you blew up the toilet... cough cough!" Percy waved his wand to disperse the smoke, glared at Fred and George, and then said to the boy, "Are you alright? If you're hurt, you'd better go to the Medical Room."
"If you need hair Hair-growing potion to make your eyebrows grow back, a bottle of Ten -Sickle hair Hair-growing potion can easily do the trick," Fred added, not forgetting to advertise. "Of course, you can also go to Madam Pomfrey; perhaps she can help your eyebrows return to normal."
"Where did you get your Hair-growing potion?" Lee Jordan muttered.
"Albert has some in his medicine chest. We can help him sell them. Besides, we can brew them ourselves if he doesn't have them," Fred said without hesitation.
"Are you sure your hair growth Hair-growing potion is usable?" Lee Jordan said before quickly running off.
Harry, who was playing chess nearby, was completely dumbfounded, while Ron couldn't help but raise his hand to cover his face. He knew that Fred and George were mischievous, but he never expected that the two of them would be like this at school.
They were the ones who got into trouble with Filch earlier, and it was all their fault after all.
