It Was So Good to Meet You!
Upon hearing Wood's words about his former comrade, Fred and George exchanged a glance and fell into a brief silence.
They certainly knew what Mario, Danny, and Jack's dreams were.
The former Acrobatic Trio dreamed of forming a circus and touring the world in public performances. However, reality proved harsh; without sufficient funding, their dream was barely in its infancy.
What about their own dreams?
Opening a Joke Shop! How much would that cost?
Fred and George had no idea; they hadn't even investigated the matter yet, but it certainly wasn't something that could be accomplished with just a few dozen Galleon.
They need to rent shops, advertise, and produce raw materials and technology. Moreover, they Galleon experience and may mess things up. Without a bit of luck, their dreams may end before they even begin.
In fact, it is almost impossible for Twins to collect 100 Galleon before graduation.
Sometimes, being broke can be that cruel.
Now the Twins understand why Albert always said that money is sometimes really important.
The two looked at Albert at the same time and suddenly felt lucky. Albert had said he would help them. Because he would never let himself lose money, Fred and George were full of confidence in opening a Joke Shop after graduation, or rather, full of confidence in Albert.
It's so great to have a friend like that!
They were lucky too.
Of course, Albert was unaware of Fred and George's thoughts; he was eating while casually responding to Wood's comments about Quidditch.
Wood really thinks highly of Harry and believes that this year's Quidditch champion will be Gryffindor.
Harry felt a little embarrassed and buried his head in his food.
He knew that his place originally belonged to Albert, and although Albert seemed to not want it, Harry still felt a little uncomfortable with Wood praising him like that.
"Although I enjoy flying, Quidditch Match isn't for me because I don't have that much time to train with everyone." Albert looked at Harry and said calmly, "However, there's one thing you need to be careful about: don't make yourself so that you can't play in a match."
"This is a warning."
"Warning?"
"Yes, a warning," Fred said, frowning. "You might think it's an exaggeration, but Albert is usually right. You need to be careful."
"Yes, Harry, you need to be careful of those Slytherin Team bastards. They'll do anything to win most of the time." Wood immediately realized what Albert meant and reminded Harry.
"No, no, Wood, the Slytherin Team has always used any means necessary to win," Lee Jordan interjected.
"If you have time, I can teach Harry how to use Mark's Feint," George suggested.
"Mark's Feint?" Harry asked, puzzled.
"That's an effective way to fight back, especially against some bad-tempered guys. You always need a little excuse to punch them in the nose." Fred made a punching motion. "Of course, since it's a fake, you won't actually hit them."
"If he actually hit it, it can only be considered bad luck," George shrugged.
Harry opened his mouth, speechless with surprise.
Lee Jordan's gaze fell on Albert, who was getting up to leave, and he asked, "Where are you going?"
"I have something to attend to, so I'll be going now." Albert got up and left.
See you later!
"Damn it, is he going to the library right after he finished eating?" George muttered as he watched his friend's departing figure after Albert left.
"Definitely not, I think he might have gone on a date?" Lee Jordan guessed.
Should we go with them?
"That's a good idea."
The three curious individuals quickly finished their food and left with Albert.
"What are they doing?" Ron asked, puzzled.
"They probably want to go... to see Albert on his date, right?" Wood had also heard about Albert's situation and thought it was wrong for Fred and the others to do that.
Yes, it's very bad.
"Date?" Ron repeated, not understanding what the word meant.
The trio's enthusiasm waned when they discovered that Albert hadn't gone on a date but had instead returned directly to the Gryffindor Common Room. They decided to head to the Room of Requirement to refine their joke gadgets, which were now their lab. Lee Jordan was working part-time as a tester for the joke gadgets and offering them advice.
"What happened?"
Seeing George crash into the door, Fred reached out and pulled him up from the ground, frowning as he asked.
"We can't get in, there are people inside," George said.
"Oh, right, I know!" Fred suddenly exclaimed.
"What do you know?"
"Do you think Albert might be in there? Don't forget, the Room of Requirement can't appear on the map, so maybe they're having a date inside without having to worry about being disturbed!"
George and Lee Jordan were taken aback for a moment, then suddenly realized it made perfect sense. Perhaps Albert had told his girlfriend the secret of the Room of Requirement! That's right, they must be having a date inside, otherwise why couldn't they get in? "But how did he do that?" Lee Jordan was puzzled. Wasn't Albert in the Common Room?
"Don't forget, he can appear in two places at the same time." Fred stroked his chin and reminded him, "Only students who choose the Twelve Subjects subjects know how to use the Clone Charm. Don't forget, that girl named Isobel MacDougal is also a genius, and she must also be able to appear in two places at the same time."
No wonder they could never catch the two of them on a date.
Albert had no idea that his trick had been seen through.
Of course, even if he was seen through, he didn't really care. What difference would it make if he was seen through?
At that moment, Albert was standing at the entrance to the Common Room, covering his face as he watched the scene unfold before him.
So, this is why you can't lose weight? Tom was being held by a girl, who was teasing him with dried fish.
I was actually tricked by a tiny bit of dried fish.
What a glutton!
"Miss Granger, it seems you've found your first friend."
"That..."
Hermione looked at Albert as he approached, somewhat flustered, like a child who had made a mistake.
"Please don't feed Tom anymore. Haven't you noticed that he's overweight?" Albert said to Hermione with a serious expression.
"I'm sorry, I just..." Hermione said, her head bowed.
"Tom was spoiled by my grandparents." Albert reached out and scratched the cat's ears, saying with a hint of helplessness, "I wasn't paying attention and he got so fat."
"I'm sorry!" Hermione's voice was even lower.
"Just don't do that again. I'm helping it lose weight recently, maybe you can help too." Albert softened his tone so as not to sound like he was bullying a child.
What should I do?
"Let it exercise more." Albert took out a cat toy and waved it in front of Tom, who was immediately attracted and reached out to nudge it.
"Give it a try."
Albert handed the cat toy to Hermione.
Hermione was a little reserved. Noticing the gazes from others, she awkwardly accepted the cat toy.
"I'm very busy and don't have much time to spend with Tom." Albert gently picked up the fat cat, patted its belly, and said, "If you have some free time, could you take care of it for me?"
"Okay, I will." Hermione looked at Albert and gave him a bright smile.
