Dancing Snowman
In the morning, the sky was overcast, snow was still falling, the ground was covered with several feet of snow, and the lake was frozen with a thick layer of ice.
Christmas is just around the corner, and students are all looking forward to the holiday, so they don't really focus on their studies.
However, the Divination class doesn't require much effort from anyone to learn.
These days, Divination class have almost become a laughing stock among the third-year students. Nobody takes the class seriously, and many students who choose Divination class pass the boring class time with idle chatter and laughter.
Now, everyone thinks Professor Trelawney is a fraud who can't Divination at all and just likes to pretend to be a fortune teller to fool people. Unfortunately, Professor Trelawney's true colors will soon be seen through.
Compared to Professor Trelawney, no one brought up Albert's ability to Divination, since his predictions were always accurate, and many even suspected that Albert might actually have the ability to Divination.
Currently, the Divination class also teach people how to interpret tea leaves, which is known as Tea Leaf Divination, and it is almost one of the least accurate of all Divination.
As for why Albert had such thoughts, it was mainly because he had been studying Tea Leaf Divination for several months, but he still couldn't find any skills related to Tea Leaf Divination on the panel. This made Albert doubt whether Tea Leaf Divination could be considered a skill at all.
He did learn Divination techniques, such as palmistry and card Divination, by reading books, but after studying tea interpretation for several months, he still hadn't developed any related skills.
Could it be that he's just too stupid to learn?
Obviously not.
If Albert truly lacked a talent for Divination, he couldn't have mastered so many Divination techniques Rune Stone Divination, Crystal Gazing, card Divination, and palmistry.
Since it's not Albert's problem, then the problem must lie in interpreting the tea.
Every time I finish drinking tea, a bunch of inexplicable tea dregs are left in the teacup.
Yes, it's tea dregs, not tea leaves.
The book's interpretation of the information left on tea leaves is merely a template; can you really Divination the results you want by simply applying it blindly? Obviously not.
Interpreting tea is inherently a very subjective matter.
It's like someone who thinks about the lottery all day long, and everything they see looks like lottery numbers. In the end, that person connects all the numbers they "see" together, trying to make a fortune, but of course, they end up losing a lot of money.
Before class ended, Albert received praise and extra points from Professor Trelawney, who also told everyone that next semester they would begin learning palmistry and have a preliminary introduction to crystal Divination.
Halfway there, Fred asked in an exaggerated tone about something he had been wondering about, "Tell me honestly, how did you figure out the acorns in the teacup?"
"Of course it's a guess," Albert replied honestly.
"Guessing?" The three were speechless. How could someone guess so confidently? Moreover, they didn't believe Albert was guessing. Judging from his performance in class, it was clear that Albert really knew how to interpret tea leaves.
"Yes, I guessed. That's right, that's it." Albert seemed to emphasize his words by repeating, "To be honest, interpreting tea leaves is one of the most unreliable Divination I've ever seen."
"And what are the second and third most unreliable Divination?" Lee Jordan blurted out without thinking.
"Bird Divination and Leaf Divination."
"So how exactly did you guess?"
"Since we can't understand it anyway, we can just speculate based on certain things that might happen in the future. That's what I call interpreting tea." Noticing the astonished looks of his three companions, Albert shrugged and said, "Don't look at me like that. I learned it from Professor Trelawney."
"So, Professor Trelawney doesn't actually know Divination?"
The three looked at each other, surprised that Albert had brought it up. Although they already knew about it, it was still unexpected.
"Wait a minute, that's not right. Didn't you say last time that Professor Trelawney could Divination, which is why she became the Divination Professor at Hogwarts?"
"Professor Trelawney is probably the kind of third-rate Divination who can't control her Divination abilities," Albert said casually. "However, we can still learn something useful from her."
"Skills for conning others?" George scoffed. "Are you sure you need to learn that stuff?"
In the eyes of the three, Albert's ability to deceive people was truly amazing. His words were more accurate than Prophecy. He didn't need to learn any Prophecy or tea interpretation. He only needed to use his mouth.
As the four walked down the corridor, Fred suddenly suggested, "How about we build a snowman?"
"Don't go to the library whenever you have free time. It's not like you can't finish your homework." Fred and George then helped Albert up and headed towards the yard.
"No, I can walk by myself." Albert suddenly paused, stopped for a few seconds in a certain place, and frowned slightly.
"What's wrong?"
"It's nothing." He shook his head and followed the three to the schoolyard. As soon as they entered the yard, snowballs Accio towards Albert.
Albert immediately stopped and moved to the side, and the snowball hit Lee Jordan directly in the face.
"Who attacked me?" Lee Jordan quickly bent down, scooped up a handful of snow, and prepared to give the guy who attacked him a good whack.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to just now." Truman apologized with a grin, but it was completely insincere, and then he threw another snowball in their direction.
The snowball fight started just like that, inexplicably.
Truman's three bastards cast a spell on the snowballs they had made, causing them to chase and pelt Albert and his friends, but Albert managed to block them with magic.
"You can't have a snowball fight like that," Truman protested.
Albert waved his wand, and a snowball grew larger and larger, rolling toward Truman and his two companions, forcing them to dodge.
Albert had already made himself a small snowball, and after Truman and his friends scattered, he threw it directly at Truman. Truman was hit squarely in the face by the snowball and fell flat on his backside on the snow.
"Good opportunity, let's seize it."
"Ouch, that hurts! Can you please not hit me so hard? And why did you only hit me?" Truman couldn't help but complain as Truman noticed the snowball rolling towards him.
"Because you're the kind of person who deserves a beating," Truman's companion said to him with a laugh.
"Damn it, you're doing it again? Are you planning to flatten me with this giant snowball?" Truman was being chased around by a huge snowball. Just as he was pulling out his wand from his pocket to smash the snowball, he noticed it had stopped. He breathed a sigh of relief and couldn't help but complain to Albert, "What the hell are you doing?"
"I'm going to make a bigger snowman." Albert used magic to create another snowball and placed it on top of the larger snowball.
Fred, George, and Lee Jordan were stunned by what they saw.
"You call this a snowman?"
"Otherwise, do you have any objections?" Albert asked with a smile, and as he spoke, he had already easily completed a snowman the size of Hagrid.
Wow, what a huge snowman!
As Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked over, they were also drawn to Albert's snowman.
"If you know how to use magic, you can do the same." Albert raised his wand and cast a spell on the snowman.
The originally heavy snowman suddenly grew a pair of short legs and started tap dancing on its own. Because the snowman was so clumsy, the ground trembled slightly with each jump.
"What kind of magic is this?"
Harry stared dumbfounded at the giant snowman tap-dancing in front of him, feeling utterly shocked. There was no way he could help it; the sheer size of the creature was quite intimidating.
Others watched the scene with great interest, some clapping and some cheering, and the atmosphere in the courtyard immediately became lively.
"What are you guys up to?"
Snape appeared out of nowhere, like a ghost.
