Moment of Glory
News of Snape being knocked unconscious by the snowman spread like wildfire throughout the castle. Snape didn't find it funny at all; every time Albert's name was mentioned, a threatening glint would flash in his eyes.
He did want to cause trouble for Albert, but given that Albert had already been penalized by Professor McGonagall and even placed in solitary confinement, he couldn't say anything more. Even if he wanted to deliberately cause trouble for Albert during class, it would be difficult. So Snape chose to simply ignore Albert's existence, while the latter didn't seem to mind being ignored at all.
It was undoubtedly a good thing for Albert that Snape wasn't causing trouble.
However, the matter of being confined still troubled Albert a little. He had only been involved in Human Transfiguration for a short time and was still in a state of confusion. This paper on Human Transfiguration would not be easy to write.
Of course, he could copy some information about Human Transfiguration from the Transfiguration Theory skills, but without actually mastering the magic of Human Transfiguration, he would feel that what he wrote was somewhat inexplicable after finishing the paper.
Albert eventually went directly to Professor McGonagall to discuss Human Transfiguration, which was essentially a way of bringing forward the time he was supposed to be in solitary confinement.
When discussing Human Transfiguration, one cannot ignore the Animagus, and Professor McGonagall is undoubtedly an expert and authority in this field. She was better suited than anyone else to explain this extremely difficult Transfiguration to Albert, and thus, the original solitary confinement was transformed into private instruction.
This time, Professor McGonagall's explanation of Animagus far surpassed what she had taught at the Transfiguration Club. Albert could understand it, but the absence of Animagus on his Skill Panel still frustrated him. Although he had guessed from the beginning that learning Animagus wouldn't be easy, he still felt frustrated when he actually failed.
Human Transfiguration and Animagus are actually different. If we had to say, Animagus is more like an advanced application of Human Transfiguration.
With Professor McGonagall's help, Albert successfully disguised himself as a black armchair; the method of Human Transfiguration was simpler than expected.
However, it's also possible that he's only learned the simplest Human Transfiguration. Transforming a human into an animal is far more difficult. If Human Transfiguration isn't used properly, especially on someone else, it can become what's known as "Transfiguration torture." The fact that someone's buttocks grew a pig's tail is the best proof of this. This is why using the Transfiguration Spell requires extreme caution. Imagine turning into a chair one day, and your hands don't revert back, and no one helps you restore your body to normal—wouldn't that be disastrous?
Based on his own understanding and some knowledge copied from Transfiguration Theory, Albert wrote a paper on Human Transfiguration, which Professor McGonagall was very satisfied with.
"Alright, you can go back now."
"What about solitary confinement?" Albert asked tentatively.
"It's over ahead of schedule." Professor McGonagall smiled kindly. As long as Albert could produce a paper that satisfied her, she wouldn't make things difficult for Albert.
"I'll be going now!" Albert had just opened the door when he suddenly heard panicked screams and bursts of laughter coming from outside the window.
Professor McGonagall strode to the window and saw Professor Quirrell lying on the ground after being hit by a snowball. Her smile vanished instantly.
The next moment, Professor McGonagall hurriedly walked outside.
"What on earth are you guys up to?"
When Albert went over, he saw Professor McGonagall help Professor Quirrell up and angrily yell at Fred and George.
"Twenty points deducted from Gryffindor, plus detention."
It took Albert a moment, but he quickly figured out what had happened. Fred and George had cast a spell on several snowballs, making them chase Professor Quirrell Professor Quirrell and eventually hit him behind his turban.
These two were really asking for trouble, throwing snowballs all over Voldemort's face! However, this was probably their most Moment of Glory, even though Fred and George were completely unaware of it.
"Professor McGonagall, I think we should have them apologize to Professor Quirrell," Albert suggested quickly. "Then, have them polish the silverware in the Trophy Room."
The Twins stared at Albert in disbelief, thinking, "Are you really our friend?" "Go and help Mr. Filch clean the silverware and chamber pots in the Trophy Room," Professor McGonagall said sternly, glancing at Albert. "No magic allowed, just clean them by hand."
After Fred and George apologized to Professor Quirrell, Albert immediately seized the opportunity to consult Professor Quirrell, giving him no time to cause trouble for Fred and George.
Just as Albert was about to ask his third question, Professor Quirrell finally lost his patience and prepared to slip away, arguing that Albert should find the answer himself.
Albert, of course, wouldn't let Professor Quirrell leave easily, and successfully obtained a signed note from Professor Quirrell for the Restricted Section.
The task is almost complete.
"Sigh, it's all your fault for being so talkative." Both of them looked at Albert with reproachful eyes.
"Do you think you can get away with solitary confinement?" Albert asked, poking Fred in the chest.
"Okay, who's going to wipe the chamber pot?" Fred said listlessly, glancing at George.
"Of course you should go," George replied without hesitation.
"Why don't you do it?" Fred clearly didn't want to clean the chamber pot either.
"Why should I go? You were the one who suggested doing it, so of course you should go."
The Weasley Twins started shifting blame onto each other, eventually even wrestling in the snow, while a crowd of onlookers cheered them on.
Albert watched this scene with a speechless expression and asked Lee Jordan beside him, "What were they thinking just now? Why did they do that?"
"Actually, do you remember when Truman cast a spell on Snowball last time?" Lee Jordan said.
"Of course I remember."
"Fred and George tried it, and they succeeded. Later, those two wanted to find someone to try it out, you know..." At this point, Lee Jordan lowered his voice and said, "They wanted to see if Professor Quirrell was... and then they cast a spell on the snowball, making it chase after Professor Quirrell."
However, the three of them never expected that Professor Quirrell would be chased around by a snowball.
Finally, Fred, who had suggested causing trouble, was put in charge of cleaning the chamber pot.
The two then complained to Albert about the matter.
"Don't be silly. Do you think you can get away with this? Instead of letting Filch figure out how to mess with you, you might as well clean the trophy and the chamber pot," Albert said irritably.
If Fred and George were put in solitary confinement by Professor Quirrell, who knows what might happen.
After all, the two of them had just smeared Voldemort's face with smears.
Although it sounded reasonable, the Twins continued to complain about Albert and demanded that he hand in his homework to make up for the time they had been in solitary confinement.
To be honest, these two bastards never intended to do their homework properly; they planned to take this opportunity to copy all the accumulated assignments and finish them.
Lee Jordan shamelessly offered to help Albert supervise Fred and George to prevent them from directly copying Albert's Home's homework.
Albert saw right through this bastard's intentions, but he was too lazy to call him out on it and let them copy whatever they wanted.
