The Philosopher's Stone Formula
When Albert mentioned that he was going to sell the formula for the Pimple Potion 2.0, Isobel didn't pay much attention. She didn't really care about Galleon's problem.
When he gave up becoming Wildsmith's heir, he had already given up a large fortune.
"When are you going to release version 3.0 of the Pimple Potion?" Isobel had always wanted to complain about the name. Albert's naming skills were really mediocre; most of the things he created were named like that.
"Not at the moment."
"Not at the moment?"
Based on her understanding of Albert, she didn't believe that Albert would easily give up the Pimple Potion. Earning only 500 Galleon would undoubtedly be a losing proposition, and Albert had never been one to suffer losses.
"There will be a 3.0 version of the Pimple Potion later," Albert said without hesitation.
"Just as I guessed." Isobel leaned down and kissed Albert's cheek, then walked toward the door of the Room of Requirement with his already packed schoolbag.
"I have to go now. Remember to call me if you need anything."
"I will."
Albert took out his pocket watch and glanced at the time. After Isobel left, he took out the Time-Turner and turned the time back an hour.
After leaving the Room of Requirement, Albert headed straight for the hall, where Lee Jordan was already eating. His mouth was full of beef, and he greeted Albert indistinctly before continuing to eat.
"What about Fred and George?"
Albert served himself a large bowl of beef stew with potatoes and sat down in the chair next to Lee Jordan.
"Gryffindor Team has a Quidditch practice today," Lee Jordan said, swallowing his food and looking up at the sky with a hint of sympathy. "They're not having much luck."
Albert knew what the other person meant by bad luck. It had been raining continuously lately, and rain was still falling from the ceiling of the hall. Quidditch training on rainy days would undoubtedly be very difficult.
"Yes, it's tough."
Albert responded, stuffed a piece of beef into his mouth, and ate it silently.
"I'm going to the library. See you later." Lee Jordan left in a hurry after finishing his dinner.
He didn't go to the library to study seriously, but because he hadn't finished his homework for the week. If he didn't work hard to finish it now, he would have to stay at school to do his homework for the Hogsmeade trip in mid-February.
The Weasley Twins are in a similar situation. Due to Wood's grueling training, they have also accumulated a mountain of homework, and they probably won't have time to go to Hogsmeade next time.
How pitiful.
It was definitely the right choice not to join the Quidditch team.
Just after dinner, Albert passed through the Entrance Hall and happened to run into the Gryffindor Team, who were returning to the castle after training.
George was in a sorry state, covered in dirt as if he had just been pulled out of the mud. If Filch were here, he would probably be happy to accuse them of defiling the castle.
"Did you fall off the broom?" Albert asked jokingly.
"How did you know I fell off the broom?"
Albert was speechless. You actually fell off the broom? "You fell off on purpose?"
"No." George lowered his voice deliberately, as if he were talking about something very terrifying. "I heard Wood say that Snape was going to be a referee, and I accidentally slipped off the broom."
That's really bad news.
Albert didn't seem to mind Snape acting as Snape; he took his wand from his pocket and used it to clean most of the mud off George.
"He will definitely try every possible excuse to deduct points from Gryffindor Team!"
Not only George, but everyone else looked rather grim.
"This is so unfair. I don't know what Professor McGonagall was thinking. Does she really believe Snape can officiate the game fairly?" Fred couldn't help but complain.
Expecting Snape to be fair is like expecting Snape to hand out candy on Halloween.
"Do you have any good suggestions?" Wood asked Albert.
"How about adding some laxatives to the food so that the Old Bat can't host the match that day?" Albert grinned maliciously.
"That's a good idea." Fred and George almost agreed wholeheartedly. In fact, all the other team members except Wood agreed with Albert's plan.
"Stop fooling around," Wood interrupted.
"I think you should finish the match as soon as possible so that Snape doesn't have much time to favor the Hufflepuff Team," Albert said, patting Harry on the shoulder. "You need to step up your game."
"I would love to catch the Golden Snitch as soon as possible," Harry said helplessly, "But the Golden Snitch isn't so easy to catch."
"Alright, don't overthink it. Dinner is plentiful tonight, with beef stew with potatoes. If you go too late, there will only be potatoes left." Albert casually offered a few words of comfort before heading back to the Common Room. He was too full tonight and didn't want to do anything else.
"Let's go have dinner first!"
Wood used Drying Charm to evaporate the water from everyone's bodies and went straight to the hall; they didn't want to miss dinner.
On his way back to the Common Room, Albert ran into Hermione, or rather, Miss Granger was there waiting for him.
"You want to ask about that old parchment?"
When Albert saw Hermione appear, he already guessed what she wanted to say.
Hermione's little scheme was seen through, and she nodded somewhat awkwardly.
"I've already translated it. The parchment contains the method for making Philosopher's Stone." Albert glanced at the figure around the corner, a pleased smile playing on his lips.
What a coincidence! Professor Quirrell had originally planned to take a detour, but after hearing Albert mention the Philosopher's Stone, he changed his mind and walked over to them.
"Hermione asked, puzzled, " The Philosopher's Stone? What's that?"
"You can find the information in the library yourself." Albert took a pre-prepared parchment from the Transfiguration Lizard's belt and handed it to Hermione.
"Thanks."
Hermione took the parchment, quickly flipped through it, and went straight to the library to find information about the Philosopher's Stone.
Professor Quirrell had been eavesdropping on their conversation, also left in a hurry.
The recipe for the Philosopher's Stone 'Philosopher's Stone was very tempting to Quirrell, who had his eye on it. He even had the idea of making one himself if he couldn't steal Philosopher's Stone.
Quirrell knew, of course, the value of the Philosopher's Stone 'Philosopher's Stone and that he couldn't easily create it himself, but everything needs a glimmer of hope, and he didn't mind spending some time trying.
So when Albert met Hermione again, she had forgotten about the Philosopher's Stone 'Philosopher's Stone, and the parchment containing the recipe for it had disappeared.
Without a doubt, Quirrell secretly took the recipe for the Philosopher's Stone from Hermione and also cast Memory Charm on her, making Hermione forget about the Philosopher's Stone.
