Celebration
Besides Snape, Diggory, who had just landed, also looked grim. He had never imagined that Hufflepuff Team would lose the Quidditch Match so decisively.
All their efforts over the past few months vanished the moment Harry Potter caught the Golden Snitch.
In this match, Hufflepuff Team became a stepping stone for Harry Potter, and they may even become the laughing stock of the entire Hogwarts. Diggory and his teammates left the field in disappointment amidst the cheers of the Gryffindor students.
Unlike the Hufflepuff Team, the Gryffindor students returned to the Common Room with the joy of victory.
When Wood saw Fred and George bring back a bunch of cakes and desserts from the kitchen, he offered to throw a celebration and shared his own snacks with everyone.
Not only Wood, but some students also contributed their snacks to make the celebration more enjoyable. Albert was no exception, bringing his Butterbeer, which he had bought recently, to share with everyone.
Since the Butterbeer in the Oak Barrel was limited, Albert had to cast Replenishing Charm on the barrels from time to time to ensure that all the students in the Common Room could have a cup of Butterbeer.
Fred used Duplication Charm to help create a bunch of cups, George was pouring drinks into them, and Lee Jordan was distributing cups of Butterbeer to the other students.
The Common Room quickly became lively, with people eating, drinking Butterbeer, huddling together to complain about Snape's favoritism, or laughing and chatting about their victory over the Hufflepuff Team. Then, they discovered that the famous Harry Potter... hadn't come to the celebration?
Does anyone know where Harry went?
As Wood took the glass from Lee Jordan, he asked Fred and George for news about Harry.
"I don't know, I haven't seen Harry since." Fred didn't know where Harry was either, and the celebration wasn't as lively as expected without the main character.
"You can ask Harry's friends," Albert said, gesturing for Wood to ask Ron and Hermione.
After all, Harry's friends should know better than they do where Harry went.
After Wood walked away, Kenneth Toller jumped out, lamenting that he hadn't seized the opportunity to make a fortune! "I'm going to start a betting pool, where everyone can wager on whether Harry can easily win the third match and bring the Quidditch Cup to Gryffindor Team. Do you want to join me?" Kenneth Toller looked at Albert expectantly and earnestly invited him.
Indeed, it seemed quite possible for Harry Potter to win his third Quidditch Match, in the eyes of many Gryffindor students. But Albert knew that Harry won his first Quidditch Cup in his third year.
This year's failure is likely related to the Philosopher's Stone; Harry appears to be in a coma for several days, causing him to miss the final Quidditch Match.
"Forget it, I'm not interested in running a betting operation."
Albert shook his head and refused Kenneth Toller's suggestion immediately.
"I noticed you seemed quite happy when you won money betting," Kenneth Toller said, pursing his lips and inwardly labeling Albert as a hypocrite.
"Happy? No, no, I'm just giving Gryffindor Team a little support," Albert explained casually. "However, I think the chances of Ravenclaw Team winning against Slytherin Team are slim."
"Everyone knows that Ravenclaw Team has a hard time beating Slytherin Team," Lee Jordan said, taking a big gulp of Butterbeer. "After all, Slytherin Team always prioritizes victory over pride."
"Snape has even personally stepped onto the field in order to win."
At this point, Fred's face suddenly broke into a pleased smile. "None of you noticed the look on Snape's face when he saw Gryffindor Team win. It was like someone had smeared Dungbombs on his face."
"I saw it too, it's a pity I couldn't capture it on camera," George chimed in.
"It's a real shame, otherwise this would probably have become a dark chapter in Snape's Dark History."
"I think he already has enough Dark History."
The group huddled together and couldn't help but giggle.
After Kenneth Toller left, George suddenly asked Albert, "You don't actually think Gryffindor Team can't beat Ravenclaw Team, do you?"
"Don't make wild predictions before winning the Gryffindor championship, that's not a good idea." Albert looked at George speechlessly; he had never seen anyone make such crazy predictions about themselves.
This is a recipe for disaster!
"Flag?"
The three clearly didn't understand what Albert meant, but Albert didn't explain further, only saying that they shouldn't be too arrogant and complacent before winning the Quidditch Cup, otherwise they would likely lose the game because of it.
"I think Albert was implying that we might lose the next game? And that Gryffindor might lose the Quidditch Cup because of it?" Lee Jordan said to the Weasley Twins beside him after Albert left.
"I think Wood should strengthen his protection of Harry so that he won't be unable to play in the next game." The three of them remembered how accurate Albert's words were, and felt that what Lee Jordan said made a lot of sense.
If the Slytherin students want to win, they should make sure both sides lose one game each, and then decide who gets the trophy based on the final total score.
If Harry can't play in the game.
Wait, that's not right! Even if Harry really can't play, Gryffindor actually has a great backup Seeker.
Thinking of this, Fred suddenly froze. Albert himself was also a Seeker, and although his record might not be as good as Harry's, he had the feat of catching the Golden Snitch and bringing the Quidditch Cup to Gryffindor.
"I think we might be overthinking it. Although Albert hasn't had much Quidditch training, he's still a pretty reliable backup," Fred told his two roommates.
Albert was unaware of the conversation his three roommates were having. He was looking for an upperclassman to refill the oak barrel, since a small glass of Butterbeer wasn't enough.
Just as he finished chatting with the girls, he saw Hermione and Ron hurrying towards him. The two of them were talking to Albert about Harry's disappearance, and they were a little worried that someone in Slytherin might deliberately cause trouble for Harry.
Albert didn't intend to help the two find Harry; he simply reassured them, "Don't worry, this is Hogwarts. Slytherin students wouldn't do something like this openly."
Albert didn't know where Harry was either, but as the savior, how could anything possibly happen to Harry? "How was the Butterbeer?"
Albert casually changed the subject, asking Hermione what she thought of Butterbeer.
"It feels a little strange, but... it tastes pretty good." Hermione carefully chose her words before saying to Albert, "This is the first time I've ever had Butterbeer."
Albert chatted with them for a couple more minutes, and as he turned to leave, he saw Harry appear, panting, at the entrance to the Common Room.
"Harry, where have you been?" Hermione asked shrilly.
"Never mind that," Harry said breathlessly. "Let's find a secluded spot, and I'll tell you what I just saw."
