Cheering for Quirrell
Snape ultimately didn't cause trouble for Albert, which surprised many Slytherin students. It seemed as if the Prophecy had been forgotten, and life at school returned to its usual tranquility.
While everyone was bored, Flint and his friends, who had been holding back for months, finally took action. Kenneth Toller became the talk of the town again when he was found unconscious in the Boys' Washroom with his pants pulled down.
Fortunately, the other party didn't take away the underwear as well.
This incident once again shocked the entire Hogwarts. When Kenneth Toller awoke from his coma, his face was purple with rage, and he looked like he wanted to kill someone. He knew perfectly well who had done it and was already sharpening his knives, ready to take revenge.
He went to Albert for help, but Albert secretly hinted that he could ask the Weasley Twins for help instead.
Fred, George, and Lee Jordan, not wanting to miss out on trouble, offered to teach him how to use the Disillusionment Charm.
Once you know how to use the Disillusionment Charm, revenge becomes much easier.
As for Albert? He was still busy with his own affairs, and recently there was another thing that had caught his attention: Quirrell's health seemed to be getting worse. He did look increasingly pale and thin, and the side effects of being possessed by Voldemort were becoming very apparent. Albert realized that his time to fleece Quirrell might not be long.
Albert has now reached 89/100 on the "Good Student" mission. Although he is almost finished, Albert knows he must speed up and complete the mission before Quirrell completely collapses.
The reward for this task is 10,000 experience points, 1 Skill Points, and the ability to obtain a specific skill from the target. If he fails to complete it, he'll probably be crying his eyes out on his pillow that night.
So, Quirrell has been in a bad mood for the past few days. He finds himself running into Albert every day, who always appears in front of him without warning, like a ghost, along with his problems.
Moreover, these were questions Quirrell couldn't refuse, because most of them stemmed from extensions of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Every time Professor Quirrell noticed Albert's presence, his face would twitch involuntarily. He was practically going crazy with pent-up frustration, but he couldn't lash out at Albert, lest his carefully constructed persona crumble.
What are you doing here?
When Albert was about to go find Professor Quirrell again, he saw Harry, Ron, and Hermione trying to enter the Fourth Floor Forbidden Area Corridor, so he called out to them.
He walked over quickly and found that Professor Quirrell, who was pale-faced, had already walked away.
"We just..." Ron was speechless, unsure of what to say.
"Professor Quirrell seems to be avoiding you, I heard..." Hermione tried to distract Albert.
"Don't change the subject," Albert said, looking at the guilty trio. "Wasn't the last case enough?"
"What are you all doing here? You're not planning to trespass into the Forbidden Corridor, are you?" Percy Weasley appeared silently like a ghost.
"No, we were just passing by and discussing the Wizard Card Competition." Albert smiled at Percy, casually changing the subject. "How's your exam preparation going, OwLs?"
"Not bad, I'm sure I can get all Twelve Subjects certificates." Percy's gaze swept over Ron, Harry, and Hermione before finally smiling at Albert and saying, "I believe you can get all Twelve Subjects certificates too."
"Don't be too stressed. You can go to the Wizard Card Competition at the end of the month and relax a bit."
"I will consider it, but you know time is getting tight."
Before leaving, Percy glared at Ron and warned, "Don't let me find out you tried to trespass into the Forbidden Corridor, or I'll write to Mom and tell her you lost a leg because of it."
"That guy is as annoying as ever." Ron made a face at Percy's back after he left, and said to his companion, "Fred and George don't like Percy very much either."
Albert coughed, interrupting Ron, and said to the three of them, "Alright, I know what you want to do. If you want your legs bitten off, I won't stop you, but I think you'll regret it for the rest of your lives if you become crippled. You know, it's very difficult to recover from Three-Headed Dog bite."
"We were just passing by," Harry insisted.
"Okay, I was just passing by." Albert turned to leave when Ron called him back.
"Is there anything else?"
"I heard the winner of this Wizard Card Competition will receive ten Galleon." Ron took a deep breath, his voice trembling slightly.
"Yes, it's still ten Galleon. In fact, the prize for the champion of every Wizard Card Competition is ten Galleon. If you're interested, you can sign up for the selection this weekend." Albert encouraged him with a smile, "Good luck. Even if you don't win the Wizard Card championship, there are still good rewards for other places."
"Are you really planning to participate in the Wizard Card Competition?" Harry asked Ron was still slightly excited beside him, as he watched Albert's departing figure.
"Why wouldn't I participate? The champion gets ten Galleon!" Ron clenched his fist, saying with a hint of regret, "It's a pity it's not the Wizard's Chess Competition. Hermione, are you participating?"
"No, I won't participate in the competition." Hermione suddenly remembered something and reminded him, "Ron, it seems that participating in the Wizard Card Competition requires two Sickle as an entry fee."
"What, two Sickle?" Ron opened his mouth in surprise, then suddenly couldn't speak.
"Yes, two Sickle. All the wizards who make it into the top 32 need to pay this fee." Hermione thought about the information she had obtained and continued, "If many people sign up, there will be another round of selection. Currently, there are quite a few people in the Wizard Card Club who are preparing to participate in this competition. The selection for the 24 spots started the week before last."
"Didn't you say there were 32 spots?" Ron asked, puzzled.
"The top 8 from the last Wizard Card Competition do not need to be screened if they are planning to participate."
"Is it still possible to register now?" Ron asked quickly, remembering Albert's words.
"There's still time." There was something Hermione didn't say: she didn't think Ron would win the championship. There was no way around it; Ron's Wizard Card skills were just too terrible.
"Ron," Harry suddenly said.
"What is it?" Ron asked absentmindedly.
"When did you join the Wizard Card Club?" Harry asked, gathering his thoughts.
"Have you forgotten that we joined the Wizard Card Club together last time?" Ron thought for a moment. He and Harry had indeed joined the Wizard Card Club, but they had hardly attended the end-of-month gatherings and didn't even have their own cards.
