Albert woke up very early on the weekend.

no way.

At six o'clock in the morning, just as dawn was breaking, Wood knocked on the dormitory door, woke up Fred and George who were still asleep, and dragged them to the Quidditch Pitch for early morning practice.

The other unfortunate guys in the dorm were naturally woken up as well. Amid Lee Jordan's complaints, Albert was about to close his eyes and take a nap, but found that he couldn't fall asleep anymore.

While eating breakfast, Albert covered his yawn and casually flipped through the latest issue of the Daily Prophet.

As he read a report by Rita Skeeter, his drowsiness suddenly vanished. Although the entire article mocked the Ministry of Magic's incompetence, Albert was able to glean the gist of it: the Ministry of Magic was looking for a wizard Jack because he had smuggled dragon eggs into Britain without permission, and Jack had already disappeared.

The newspaper mentioned dragon eggs? This should be a harbinger; many things don't happen out of nowhere.

It seems highly likely that Quirrell has already acquired the dragon egg.

To avoid arousing Hagrid's suspicion, Quirrell couldn't simply hand the dragon egg to Hagrid. He needed to wait until Hagrid went to the Hog's Head Pub to drink before he could disguise himself as a hawker, offer Hagrid a drink, and get him drunk.

"Any interesting news in the newspapers?" Lee Jordan asked, also covering his mouth while yawning.

"That reporter named Rita Skeeter is very good at grabbing people's attention." Albert smiled as he closed the Daily Prophet.

"Rita Skeeter loves to talk nonsense." Fred dragged his weary body into the hall; he was now exhausted and starving, and could eat almost anything.

"But you can't deny that everyone loves listening to her ramblings." George sat down next to Albert and began loudly complaining to them that Wood was a training maniac.

"Oh, by the way, we're going to have homework later, do you want to come along?" Albert asked Fred and George suddenly. "I remember you haven't finished your homework this week!"

"We're going to the library to find some information later." Fred turned his head to the side, preferring to consult someone else later.

Albert gathered Gryffindor students from his class together on weekends to catch up on their unfinished homework, and they could exchange ideas on things they didn't understand.

In general, it's a study group.

Fred and George hurriedly stuffed a lot of food into their mouths and then slipped away when no one was looking.

Lee Jordan, chanting the slogan "I will never let Fred and George do my homework," began to bury himself in his homework. He was the only one in the group who hadn't finished yet. Fred and George were supposed to do their homework with him, but unfortunately, those two bastards had run off on their own.

Shanna is practicing the Cheering Charm with Angelina. Professor Flitwick has hinted more than once that the Cheering Charm Cheering Charm will be on the Final Exam, so it's Charms that everyone should focus on reviewing.

"I think Shanna has a very good chance of winning the championship again this time," Lee Jordan said, looking up. "Although this year's Wizard Card Competition is much better than the last one, there are still not many people who are really good at playing Wizard Card. Of the top eight selected yesterday, there aren't many who are really good... okay, okay, I know, I'll shut up, okay?"

Lee Jordan obediently shut up under the watchful eyes of the crowd.

"That Miss Isobel is quite extraordinary," Shanna muttered softly, glancing up at Albert was engrossed in writing his paper. She wasn't arrogant; Isobel had put a lot of pressure on Shanna. Despite not playing Wizard Card much, she had easily made it into the quarterfinals.

Is this what a true genius is like? "Is the champion's reward still 10 Galleon this time?" Angelina was a little frustrated; she was eliminated in the round of 16 yesterday.

"Yes, still ten Galleon."

The initial buzz of discussion vanished again.

"I remember you made it to the quarterfinals, right?" Ron, who was doing his homework a few tables away, suddenly looked up and said. For some reason, Harry felt that Ron's tone was a little sour.

"What are you planning to do with this money?" Ron asked again. He seemed certain that Hermione would win a Wizard Card Competition.

"You need to win the championship to get ten Galleon," Hermione reminded him after reciting the Twelve Uses of Dragon's Blood.

"Yeah, champion. I really don't know what the point is of him paying for this competition." Ron glanced at Albert, who was engrossed in writing his paper not far away, and muttered under his breath, "Wouldn't it be better to use that Galleon to buy something?"

Ron thought of Fred and George again; those two bastards always had the clinking of gold coins in their pockets.

"Look, here they come again," Ron muttered to himself, just as Fred and George entered the hall and practically ran towards them. As they placed a book in front of Albert, they kept saying, "We found it! Look at this! We found it!"

Fred noticed that many people were staring at him, and gave an awkward laugh, saying, "Sorry, I hope I didn't bother you."

Albert glanced at his nearly smudged parchment, glared at Fred with displeasure, and then turned his gaze to the book in front of him.

"Murtlap?"

"Look at this..." George excitedly pointed to a passage in the book. "People bitten by Murtlap will experience nausea."

When George read this, Albert understood why the Twins were so excited. Were they planning to use the Murtlap to make Puking Pastilles? Albert continued reading softly, "In more severe cases, sparks will come out of the anus."

Undoubtedly, if used properly, it can create a very interesting joke prop; sparks coming out of the anus would definitely be popular among students.

"Looks like this is a rat that's valuable from head to toe," Lee Jordan muttered after leaning closer and reading the entire book.

"It's Murtlap," Fred corrected cheerfully.

However, Lee Jordan is right; Murtlap do have many uses. The growths on their backs, when pickled and eaten, can enhance their ability to resist Dark Curse, but excessive consumption can cause unsightly purple ear hair to grow.

Wizards often use Murtlap Essence to make Potions, which can also be used directly to treat cuts and abrasions and reduce the pain of wounds.

"We're considering where to get one of these things; buying one isn't cheap," George said, frowning.

"You can try contacting Mundungus Fletcher; maybe he can help you get some," Albert suggested. "Besides, you don't need a Murtlap; just have that guy get you some raw materials for Murtlap."

"You're right, maybe we can give it a try." Fred thought about it and agreed that it made sense. They had already done their research and found that wizards who raised Murtlap only harvested the anemone-like growths on their backs, which was the most valuable part of these Magical Creature.

As for the possibility that they might need the teeth of Murtlap, perhaps Mundungus can help them get some, and the price shouldn't be too high.

"What are they doing?" Shanna asked, watching the Twins' departing figures. "Don't they have homework to do?"

"Ignore them," Albert shook his head. "Those two will be here soon to do their homework, unless they want to be put in solitary confinement."

Sure enough, Fred and George came over to do their homework together after they finished writing their letters. Their foundation was quite solid, and although they had been completely distracted this semester, with Albert's help, their studies weren't too bad.

As for Mundungus Fletcher, he directly offered a price of three Galleon for one Murtlap and five Galleon for two.

Upon receiving the letter, this guy secretly slipped away to the beach and spent a considerable amount of time catching two Murtlap, intending to resell them to the Weasley Twins.

Fred and George refused to pay for the two Murtlap and wrote to Mundungus Fletcher that they only wanted the Murtlap ' incisors and growths.

Upon receiving the letter, Mundungus was so angry he nearly twisted his nose out of shape, refusing to sell the Murtlap's incisors to the Twins.

Soon after, Mundungus somehow acquired a bunch of Murtlap incisors and planned to sell them to the Weasley Twins for the exorbitant price of two Sickle each.

After some haggling, Mundungus reluctantly agreed to the deal, threatening in the letter that he would never sell them anything again.

Albert and his companions scoffed at the threats Mundungus made in the letter.

Ron passed seven of his Open Classes (OWLs), more than Fred and George combined. The Twins ultimately did indeed give up on their studies.
