Albert wasn't quite sure how Quirrell was doing lately; he was just happy as long as he was doing well.

One day after the Easter holidays ended, Hagrid suddenly had Shera deliver a note to Albert that read, "She's about to hatch."

"What? It's about to hatch?" Fred asked curiously, looking at the contents of the note.

"Hagrid's little pet," Albert said without thinking, stuffing the note into his pocket. Although the sight of a dragon hatching was rare, Albert didn't intend to go and watch.

If I go, Fred, George, and Lee Jordan might follow, and who knows how things will turn out.

So let Harry Potter and his friends do their thing! "What little pet?" George asked.

"A little lizard." Albert reminded him, "What, you're interested? Don't forget, we have class later."

In the three of them's memory, Hagrid's pets were all rather fierce. It was really puzzling that he would keep a lizard, but the three of them didn't spend much time on it and went to class with Albert.

If Albert doesn't go, they probably won't go either; the three of them aren't as close to Hagrid as Albert is.

However, Harry was different from them. He had an excellent relationship with Hagrid, and after receiving Hagrid's note, he even wanted to skip class to watch the baby dragon hatch.

Hermione sternly stopped the two of them, telling them not to cause Hagrid any trouble.

They had no idea that their voices were being overheard by Malfoy, who was passing by.

If Draco Malfoy had remembered Albert's Prophecy, perhaps he wouldn't have gotten involved in this matter. Unfortunately, Draco Malfoy had long forgotten Albert's Prophecy.

This unfortunate guy was thus led astray by Harry Potter.

After Herbology class, Harry, Ron, and Hermione dropped their shovels and hurried toward Hagrid's Hut.

Hagrid was actually standing outside the door to greet them, looking very excited.

"The dragon egg has already developed cracks; it will be hatching soon." He welcomed the three of them into the house.

"Isn't Albert here?" Hermione was very surprised when she entered the room and didn't see Albert. She knew that even if Albert was busy, he should have been able to come over.

"He's not coming." Hagrid stared absently at the cracks in the dragon egg. "He seems to have other things to do."

"That's a real shame. Most wizards never see a baby dragon hatch more than a few times in their lives." Ron stared intently at the dragon egg and said excitedly, "I heard a sound."

A very interesting clicking sound is constantly coming from the dragon egg in front of you.

Perhaps the baby dragon inside the egg is struggling, preparing to hatch.

The group grew increasingly tense and focused, completely unaware that Malfoy, who had been following them, was carefully circling the cabin, peering through the curtains at the window.

Suddenly, a screeching sound came from inside the dragon egg.

The egg cracked.

The baby dragon waddled and pounced out of its egg. It turned its head and looked around, showing no fear. It even sneezed, sending a few Mars flying from its nose, which ignited Hagrid's whiskers. Then, it bit Hagrid's finger, which was about to touch its head, baring its long, sharp teeth and displaying its predator nature.

"Oh my god, look! It recognizes its mother! It recognizes its mother!" Hagrid screamed excitedly, making Hermione want to cover her face. When she turned her head, she saw a dark figure by the window and screamed, "Who's there!"

"What happened?"

"Someone was peeking through the curtains!"

Hagrid heard the sound of fleeing footsteps, his face turned pale instantly, and he leaped to his feet and ran towards the window.

Harry and Ron practically leaped to the door, frantically opening the wooden door and peering outside.

Even if the distance was a bit far, even if all that was left of the other person was bones, Harry would never mistake that the person who was peeking through the window was Malfoy.

To make matters worse, he saw Xiaolong.

At that moment, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were very uneasy. They all realized that Malfoy had most likely come with them.

Albert was right; their ability to keep secrets was indeed terrible.

Harry felt a pang of sadness looking at the bewildered Hagrid. He was beginning to understand why Malfoy had followed them. It was clear that Malfoy had overheard their conversation about dragon eggs during their meal.

However, Harry didn't dare tell Hagrid about it.

"I'm sorry, Hagrid, Malfoy probably overheard us and that's why we followed." Hermione lowered her head in shame and apologized to Hagrid. "Albert is right, we can't keep secrets properly."

Harry's face turned deathly pale, then flushed crimson; he felt ashamed of his earlier attempt to shirk responsibility.

Ron's expression was also a little unnatural. He remembered what he had said a while ago: We will definitely keep this secret.

And the result? They leaked the information! Hagrid was also filled with regret; he finally understood what Albert meant by those words. He hadn't cared then, but now it was too late.

"What should I do?" Hagrid trembled at the thought of what might happen next.

"Write to Albert, he'll definitely have a way," Hermione suggested.

"Yes, Albert will definitely have a way." Hagrid prepared to write a letter to Albert.

"Didn't he want Dumbledore to send the little dragon away?" Ron muttered to himself, his words causing the delighted Hagrid to stop writing his letter.

"It's too small, it will die if it loses care." Hagrid's cheeks were immediately wet with tears.

An eerie silence filled the room.

"Don't worry, Hagrid, we'll definitely figure out a solution," Hermione said.

"Are you crazy?"

As they left Hagrid's Hut, Ron muttered a complaint in a low voice, "Even that genius couldn't do anything about it, so what can you do? Even if Malfoy doesn't tell on us, that dragon won't be able to keep it from the rest of the school for at least a month. Besides, Malfoy could go to Dumbledore at any time."

"I'm not worried about that, but if Snape finds out Hagrid has a dragon, things could get worse. I don't know what he'll do."

Harry wasn't worried about the headmaster. Since Albert thought the headmaster was reliable, he must be somewhat reliable. But Snape was clearly not so easy to deal with.

"Perhaps we should go and talk to Albert," Harry said, wanting to make amends for his mistake.
