This Blame Please Take

Minister of Magic Fudge personally led a surprise inspection, but still couldn't find any trace of the dragon.

A mere Hunting Grounds guard easily fooled everyone, treating them like monkeys.

Neither Quirrell nor Malfoy could believe such an outcome; they were convinced that Hagrid had somehow managed to smuggle the dragon to a safe place and hide it away.

However, the whole dragon-raising incident was shrouded in mystery from beginning to end.

The rest of the people didn't even understand what had happened before the matter simply ended like that?

It's worth noting that when the Ministry of Magic conducts surprise inspections, they almost always catch criminals, and it turned out that Hagrid had been innocently framed.

He never raised a dragon from beginning to end.

Who was deliberately slandering Hagrid? Everyone soon found out that it was Draco Malfoy, the unfortunate fellow who quickly earned the stigma of deliberately framing the school's Hunting Grounds.

As for who sent the anonymous letter to the Minister of Magic, it was naturally Snape.

Malfoy only told Snape about this from beginning to end.

If he doesn't take the blame, who will?

Therefore, Dumbledore and Snape discussed the matter again in the Headmaster's Office.

"He must not be lying, otherwise I would have noticed." Snape was also very annoyed, never expecting that he would be blamed for this.

"That's strange," Dumbledore murmured. "The Minister of Magic came to conduct a surprise inspection without any warning. If Hagrid really kept dragons, there was no way he could have kept it a secret."

"I don't think this is just a prank," Snape shook his head. "I believe Draco Malfoy wouldn't dare to do that. Lucius told me he received similar letters, and the Minister of Magic's presence at Hogwarts is largely due to Lucius."

"It seems that someone deliberately arranged this."

"You think someone cast a spell on Draco, making him..." Snape immediately locked onto the target.

He had gone to great lengths to stop Quirrell, so was this Quirrell using it as an opportunity to retaliate? "It seems Quirrell is about to lose his temper," Dumbledore. "Indeed, he's been holding back for a long time."

"What do you think Quirrell's goal is? That dog?"

Snape was wrong; in fact, he only guessed the second level, while the real answer was on the fourth level.

This so-called meticulously planned event was actually just a simple experiment by Albert.

If Quirrell does as he plans, Albert will profit.

Even if not, Albert wouldn't lose out.

However, Albert hadn't expected the plan to be even more successful than anticipated. He had given Quirrell a seemingly reliable plan.

To Albert's astonishment, Quirrell actually carried it out, squeezing out all of Quirrell's remaining value, including the value of the dragon egg incident.

As the mastermind and beneficiary behind all of this, Albert's feelings were quite complicated.

Quirrell is such a good person!

They not only give you Galleon and quests, but also experience points.

It's a bit of a shame he died.

Where will I find such a good person in the future?

After Quirrell's series of blunders, Albert not only successfully obtained the new mission of "rescuing Norbert," but also the mission of "This Blame Please Take."

This task requires three people to be made to take the blame for someone else without their knowledge.

However, the most absurd thing about this task is that when Albert found it on the task list, the task was already completed.

The rewards are pretty good: 3000 experience points, 1 Skill Points, and the title of "The Person Behind the Scenes".

Actually, all of this started a few days ago.

Quirrell received a suggestion from the letter to move the Magic Mirror, and through the message at the bottom of the letter, he buried two hundred Galleon at a designated location in exchange for a way to get rid of Dumbledore.

So Albert sent Quirrell another letter, giving him this advice.

On the day the letter arrived, Quirrell happened to be passing by the corner and overheard Harry, Ron, and Hermione's conversation.

Compared to the plan to Sells All Information, even Quirrell had to admit that the method in the letter had a high success rate.

Keeping a dragon is illegal, and with a Three-Headed Dog on top of that, Hagrid should be on trial at the Ministry of Magic.

When Dumbledore was serving as a juror, he took the opportunity to make his move.

As for why it suddenly failed, it seems to have nothing to do with Sells All Information.

Quirrell and Malfoy were in high spirits on the day the Daily Prophet and Ministry of Magic personnel appeared at Hogwarts.

No matter how they looked at it, they didn't believe Hagrid could hide the little dragon during a surprise inspection without warning.

It can't be hidden at all!

However, they seemed unaware that the Wizarding World possessed something called Time-Turner.

After discovering that the Ministry of Magic had appeared at Hogwarts early in the morning, Albert immediately used the Time-Turner to go back a few hours and help Hagrid hide the dragon Norbert.

The Ministry of Magic's surprise inspection naturally came up empty-handed, even with Minister of Magic Fudge leading the team himself.

This matter took a complete 180-degree turn.

Even Hagrid's manner and techniques for dealing with Ministry of Ministry of Magic staff were taught to him on the spot by Albert.

You're saying I'm illegally raising dragons?

I don't know, I didn't, you need to provide evidence.

Without evidence, it's slander.

Of course, even if the Ministry of Magic turned Hagrid's Hut upside down, it still wouldn't be able to produce any evidence.

So, a few days after Hagrid righteously declared that keeping a dragon was illegal, when Harry, Ron, and Hermione went to find Hagrid again, they discovered that the dragon was still there, and had even grown bigger.

"Hagrid, how come it's still here?" Harry looked at Norbert, who was eating a dead rat, in surprise, and stared at Hagrid in disbelief.

Didn't you say that raising dragons is illegal?

Under persistent questioning from Harry, Hagrid had no choice but to recount how Albert had helped him get through the surprise inspection last time.

"He's really amazing." All three of them felt that Albert was an incredible guy.

"By the way, Hagrid, I just saw Malfoy. He seemed really upset," Harry warned. "Be careful not to let anyone else know."

"I've left Fang outside so I'll know if anyone comes near," Hagrid said absentmindedly.

He even sealed off all the curtains in the room, but there wasn't much else he could do.

"What did Albert say?" Hermione asked cautiously.

"He told me to go and confess to the headmaster and then send the dragon away." Hagrid said, biting his lip, very unwilling. "I know I can't keep it forever, but I can't just abandon it like this."

"Albert is right, Dumbledore will probably find someone to adopt the dragon," Hermione reassured her.

"Maybe I have a good idea!" Ron suddenly said.

"What's a good idea?"

Harry, Hermione, and Hagrid all turned to look at Ron.

"Remember when I told you that my second brother Charlie is studying dragons in Romania? We can write to Charlie; he might be happy to help take care of it. I think that's the best way right now."

"Great, Ron!" Harry exclaimed excitedly. They could finally get rid of the dragon.

"So, Hagrid?" Hermione looked at Hagrid nervously, afraid that he would disagree.

In the end, Hagrid agreed, because it was the best solution at the moment. Moreover, he had an agreement with Albert that if he couldn't solve the problem, Albert would tell the headmaster. Hagrid really didn't want to cause Dumbledore trouble.

Ron sent an owl to ask Charlie if he would like to adopt a dragon.

Over the next few days, Malfoy remained undeterred. He would take a camera and go to the vicinity of the Gamekeeper's Hut whenever he had a spare moment, intending to photograph the baby dragon and prove that he hadn't lied at all.

As for Quirrell, he received new compensation after Xiaolong's plan failed; Albert sent him a completely new plan.

This time, Quirrell completely tore up the plan, not intending to follow Albert's plan, but instead preparing to use his own backup plan.

Quirrell planned to use the Imperius Curse to control Fudge, so that Fudge would go and talk to Dumbledore and ask him for advice.

Anyway, everyone knows that Fudge does this all the time.

Albert was completely unaware of this, and even if he had, he wouldn't have cared. Hagrid told him that Ron had suggested Charlie help adopt Norbert.

It's as if some unseen hand is turning history back onto its original trajectory.

But who owns these hands?
