I Really Didn't Lie
"I didn't lie, so why doesn't anyone believe me?" Draco Malfoy was incredibly angry and frustrated. Ever since the Hogwarts dragon incident, he had become a laughingstock in the entire Slytherin and even among the Hogwarts students.
Those self-righteous fools know nothing, yet they spread rumors everywhere. What right do they have to laugh at themselves?
Malfoy felt extremely wronged!
He actually saw Hagrid raising a dragon in his Wooden House, and even witnessed the dragon hatch from its shell.
Why is it that no one is willing to believe what they say?
Why does everyone think I'm lying?
Why would they be so foolish?
It's all that big guy's fault, it's all Harry Potter's fault. That damned Scarhead Potter must have found a way to help Hagrid hide that little dragon.
Otherwise, how could the Ministry of Magic possibly not have been able to find that little dragon?
However, Dad was right; most of the wizards in the Ministry of Magic were useless.
If even a surprise inspection couldn't catch the big guy raising dragons, what else could he be but a useless person?
After the dragon incident, Draco Malfoy pleaded with his mother until she finally agreed to buy him a camera.
He planned to use his camera to capture the truth, so that those fools would understand just how stupid it was to have maliciously hurt him before.
He, Draco Malfoy, wanted to use facts and photographs to make all those who looked down on him and mocked him lower their proud heads.
However, in the following days, Malfoy was unable to fulfill his wish. He took his camera to the vicinity of Hagrid's wooden cabin and found that the guy had already drawn the curtains tightly.
However, he was certain that the little dragon was still inside the Wooden House.
If the little dragon wasn't inside, why did the big guy keep the doors and windows tightly closed and draw the curtains?
Malfoy cursed Hagrid more than once, hoping that the little dragon would breathe fire and burn down the wooden cabin.
Although it was still a small dragon, most dragons already possessed the ability to breathe fire when they were young, although the flames they breathed were very weak.
Once Hagrid's wooden hut is set ablaze, his dragon-keeping will no longer be a secret.
Everyone will be able to learn the truth and recognize their mistakes.
However, Malfoy's malice and curse failed to achieve their goal; Hagrid's wooden cabin was neither set ablaze nor accidentally burned down.
If he weren't incapable of starting fires, Malfoy would have even considered setting that damned wooden hut on fire himself. If he could get everyone's attention, the dragon would definitely be exposed.
Although he had this idea, Malfoy did not have time to put it into action.
He found it difficult to get close to the big man's wooden cabin anymore. The man had left his hunting dog outside, and every time he approached with his camera, the dog would bark wildly at him, as if it were about to rush over and bite him.
Malfoy thus had the experience of being chased by a hound, although he managed to escape by running fast enough to avoid being bitten.
After several days of observation, Malfoy became completely convinced that it was Scarhead Potter who was helping the big guy Hagrid conceal the fact that he was raising dragons.
He even saw Harry Potter enter that wooden cabin more than once, and occasionally overheard whispers about the dragon.
One day, Malfoy discovered that the poor Weasley had received a reply, so he secretly eavesdropped on the conversation between the three.
They actually planned to send that little dragon away!
This was something Malfoy absolutely could not tolerate; once that little dragon was sent away, he himself would become a laughingstock forever.
Malfoy would never allow such a thing to happen.
However, Malfoy did not expect his opportunity to come so soon.
Ron Weasley was bitten by the dragon and was taken to the School Hospital as a result.
He actually claimed that he had been bitten by a dog, but even Madam Pomfrey didn't believe such nonsense.
The letter from last time was tucked inside The Red-Haired Poor Man's History of Magic. If he hadn't managed to get rid of it in time, Malfoy believed that he could get his hands on it quickly by pretending to visit him in the hospital and asking to borrow a book.
This went even more smoothly than Malfoy had anticipated.
When he entered the School Hospital, Weasley's bitten arm was almost twice its original size. The attacker seemed very aggressive, and a single sarcastic remark would have been enough to keep Weasley from realizing his true intentions.
Malfoy kept threatening Weasley, saying he would tell Madam Pomfrey what had bitten him, and he kept mocking him. The man was indeed quite angry with him, and he easily took the book. The letter was indeed still tucked inside the book.
Malfoy had never been so happy as he took the letter out of the book and read its contents carefully; not even the joy of being Bludger Potter bring him.
One of those red-haired paupers was raising a dragon in Romania, and Scarhead Potter was planning to take it away on Saturday night.
He would not let Scarhead Potter succeed, no matter what.
Malfoy believed that as long as this matter was made public, it would definitely attract the attention of the professors and let those fools know that he was not lying, making them realize their stupidity.
Thanks to Malfoy's deliberate dissemination, the poor Weasley's letter quickly spread throughout Hogwarts, and everyone knew that the big Hagrid had a dragon, and even more so, when they planned to send the dragon away.
The plan was undoubtedly a success. He made many people in the school see the contents of the letter, making them realize that they were not lying and that Hagrid really did own a dragon.
Many people are still unwilling to admit their mistakes and stupidity, but Malfoy doesn't care. He is ready to hand the letter to Professor Snape and use facts and truth to bend their backs and stomp their heads into the ground.
However, a strange rumor spread from somewhere that the letter was actually written by Hermione Granger, that Mudblood, in order to deceive and trick him.
In an instant, the story of how Potter and Hermione Granger had made a fool of him was spreading throughout the school.
However, the most ridiculous thing is that group of opportunists in school. Most of them are unwilling to think and believe whatever others say. They are no different from fools.
They had no idea that this was all a conspiracy by that Mudblood; they already knew that the letter had been taken, which was why they said those things.
Do they really think they can deceive us like that? Malfoy has decided to personally capture Scarhead Potter and the dragon, and show everyone with the facts that he wasn't lying!
