Exam Week
The arrival of June means that exams are finally coming for students.
The professors stopped assigning homework, and even class time was used entirely to review what the professors considered important.
Cramming before exams is crucial, and students have to force their brains to work hard. Even Fred and George are studying diligently to avoid failing their exams.
Actually, as long as you're mentally sound and willing to study hard, passing the Final Exam is definitely not a problem.
After all, the professors highlighted the important points.
As the exam date approached, everyone had to spend a lot of time studying in the sweltering castle, and their tempers became increasingly irritable.
Percy Weasley is a prime example; he's about to take the O. W. Ls (Ordinary Wizarding Levels) exam. Anyone who dares to disturb the peace of the Common Room at night will be severely punished.
There are always a few unlucky guys who like to challenge authority and get slaughtered like chickens to be used as a scapegoat. Currently, that "chicken" is studying in Professor McGonagall's office.
"There's something wrong with this exam schedule!"
After reviewing Albert's exam schedule, Fred, George, and Lee Jordan couldn't help but ask, "Are you sure you didn't copy these times wrong?"
All three found it absurd, because Albert had Twelve Subjects exams to take, and his exam schedule stated:
Monday:
Morning: 9 o'clock, Transfiguration. 9 o'clock, Arithmancy.
Midday: 1 PM, Charms. 1 PM, Ancient Runes.
"How could you sit in two exam rooms at the same time?"
"Are you really planning to have your 'clone' take the exam in your place?"
"Of course." Albert answered the Weasley Twins ' questioning quite readily.
Are you sure your brain is up to the task?
"Of course it's enough, and the exams aren't that hard!" Albert tapped his head with his finger and reminded him with a smile, "You should be worried about yourselves. If you fail, you'll definitely have to repeat the year."
"It's this again."
The threat of repeating a grade is completely ineffective.
In fact, very few students actually end up repeating a year.
Aside from the unlucky ones who get caught during each exam.
"I'm going out for a walk, you guys keep going!" Albert stretched and prepared to take Tom out for a stroll. Fat Cat Tom hadn't exercised in a long time, and his body was starting to expand horizontally, making him increasingly fat.
Of course, the main reason was that Percy didn't want Tom to be in the Common Room and wanted to label him as someone who would distract everyone.
I've been so bored lately, nothing interesting has happened.
According to the information Hermione had given him, Harry indeed did not go to Dumbledore to expose Snape.
As for Quirrell, ever since he drank the unicorn's blood, he has been lying in wait, patiently awaiting the perfect opportunity.
Of course, it's also possible that he was too busy.
After all, creating five exam papers by himself is no small feat, even for someone as theoretically gifted as Quirrell.
However, one thing is certain: the unicorn's blood did not restore Quirrell's strength; his complexion remained grim, as if he had been seriously ill.
Albert actually wanted to get Quirrell into the School Hospital so that Madam Pomfrey could treat him.
Unfortunately, for the sake of the upcoming plot development, he refrained from causing any trouble.
As time ticks by, the exams are fast approaching. Fifth and seventh graders will take their exams earlier than other students.
Two days before the O. W. Ls exam, Albert saw Dumbledore walking slowly into the school with a group of examiners, some of whom were old acquaintances of his.
"You actually get nervous?"
Albert looked at Isobel with a smile, finding it somewhat unbelievable.
"Of course, no one is immune to nervousness during exams." Isobel and Albert walked slowly along the lakeside, watching the figure disappear through the castle gates. "After all, everyone has put in so much effort, and everyone hopes to get a good result."
"With your Legilimency, getting a perfect score should be a piece of cake."
"Would you use Legilimency a perfect score on the test yourself?" Isobel countered.
"Won't!"
Indeed, geniuses have their own pride.
Although Albert said he wouldn't, he didn't really believe it. While he didn't know how to use Legilimency, he already had a more advanced panel cheating method.
Although he did study hard.
Therefore, as one of those who cheated on the exam, Albert rarely talked about his grades.
"Didn't you already finish reviewing?" Albert teased. "Or are you planning to get full marks on everything?"
Albert has been helping Isobel with his studies these past few days. How could he not know Izebel's level?
Starting in the second week of June, fifth and seventh graders began taking their exams ahead of schedule.
The Great Hall had been rearranged. Fortunately, there weren't many students from the two grades. Apart from the written exams, the school had enough time to cram all the exams into the Great Hall and restore Great Hall to its original state before mealtime, so that no one felt anything special.
After breakfast, students from other grades went to class, while seventh and fifth graders wandered aimlessly around the Entrance Hall.
As June entered its third week, the exam week began for other students, who had only one week to complete their exams.
Before lunch on Monday, the third-grade students came out of the Transfiguration Class looking disheveled and listless. They compared their grades and lamented how difficult the exam was.
In the Transfiguration exam, they first had to complete a written test, and then one by one they had to go up on stage to complete the practical test assigned by Professor McGonagall: turn a teapot into a turtle.
As is well known, practical exams in Transfiguration are usually very difficult, especially the Transfiguration Charm that turns inanimate objects into living ones.
Although they had learned and practiced it in class, many students were still unable to complete the Transfiguration Charm well.
Because they never even tried turning a teapot into a turtle, it was obvious whether everyone's Transfiguration Charm were solid or not.
Albert even saw that when people went on stage to try Teapot-Turned-Turtle, there were more or less some problems, such as the turtle exhaling steam, the tail still being the spout, or the shell still having patterns.
The turtle that Albert conjured was the most perfect; it was truly indistinguishable from a turtle, and it even walked around the podium. Everyone could tell from the smile on Professor McGonagall's face that she was very satisfied.
Lee Jordan often mocked Fred and George's turtles for emitting a little steam from their mouths. Although his turtle wasn't as perfect as Albert's, it still looked pretty good. So he was punished by most of the students whose turtles had various problems. Who told that guy to talk nonsense?
The exam for Arithmancy involved filling in charts. We had to complete the charts on the parchment that Professor Victor had given us, but there were quite a few places to fill in on the charts.
If you didn't do your homework yourself before, congratulations, you're probably doomed.
The afternoon's Charms test was similar to the Transfiguration test, consisting of a test paper and a simple practical assessment.
Professor Flitwick did indeed test everyone's Happiness Charm.
However, unexpected things always happen during practical assessments. Two Hufflepuff students burst into laughter after using the Cheering Charm on each other.
Fred even said in a serious tone that they were hurting each other, which drew laughter after the exam.
Ancient Runes is somewhat like a simplified version of an English exam paper from a past life. Most of the content consists of various translations, with the most difficult part being translating a section of Ancient Runes.
Albert handed in his Ancient Runes exam in just ten minutes.
The next morning, the test was on Care of Magical Creatures. The test was very simple; the candidates needed to accurately identify the Spiky Dastard hiding among a group of hedgehogs.
The Spiky Dastard looks almost exactly like a hedgehog.
They need to take turns feeding them milk.
Yes, Spiky Dastard are very suspicious animals, and they also cannot drink milk.
When you feed milk to Spiky Dastard, they will think you are trying to poison them, and their magical thorns will stand up.
That afternoon, they took Potions test.
The Potions exam, which Snape had his eye on, was an absolute disaster.
Imagine Snape standing right next to you, notebook in hand, watching you prepare Potions, ready to fail you at any moment.
Several Hufflepuff students were thus targeted by Snape, nearly causing a major malfunction of the sedative.
The Astronomy exam was held at midnight, so everyone went to the top floor. They had to observe the night sky themselves and then mark the positions of the stars, planets, and even constellations they observed on a blank star chart they were given.
This is probably one of the few courses that requires practical experience, but as long as you do the homework diligently after class, it's not too difficult to get a high score.
The History of Magic exam was on Wednesday morning. As long as you diligently memorize the key points, it's not difficult to get a high score. Albert completed the entire exam paper with ease.
The Herbology exam is on Wednesday afternoon. Students need to stay in a greenhouse under the sun to take care of the herbs. This is probably the exam that requires the most patience and hard work of all.
Thursday morning was the Defence Against the Dark Arts exam, and Professor Quirrell's exam was as boring as his lectures. They had to answer how to deal with Magical Creature and write down the spells and precautions. The Defence Against the Dark Arts exam left several of Albert's roommates dissatisfied, feeling that their true abilities hadn't been demonstrated.
Thursday afternoon will be dedicated to Divination and Muggle Studies.
The Muggle Studies exam requires students to write down the names and uses of the objects depicted in the drawing.
Okay, another easy test.
However, the only problem with this exam is that wizards don't know much about Muggle, so sometimes their answers contain some inexplicable things, which can easily lead to jokes about Muggle not understanding Muggle Studies.
The exam for the Divination class was equally simple: each student went to Professor Trelawney's classroom and observed the crystal ball. Essentially, Professor Trelawney had them try to make a Prophecy.
"Hello, darling," she said gently, "What did you see?"
"I saw Professor Quirrell leave us forever." Albert leaned down to look at the crystal ball, not to make Prophecy, but to pretend that he had already made Prophecy.
"Professor Quirrell?"
"He's dead."
Albert then pretended to look at the crystal ball again, "I also saw Harry Potter; they seemed to be in a dark place."
"It's a sad story, and I think we'll find out the outcome soon, won't we?" Professor Trelawney looked at the crystal ball, seeing only a swirling cloud of white mist.
In fact, Professor Trelawney wasn't sure whether Albert had Prophecy abilities, so this was undoubtedly a good opportunity for her.
