Hypocritical

People had barely watched the furious Mrs. Pince chase several troublemakers out of the library before Harry's urgent cries drew their attention.

"Ron, don't scare me!"

Harry reached out and gently nudged Ron, whose face was pale and eyes vacant, calling out in panic.

Ron, who had just been pounced on by the giant spider, seemed to have been badly frightened. He was completely stunned.

"What's wrong with Ron?"

When Hermione looked away from the library entrance, she too noticed Ron's deathly pale face. He had collapsed on the floor and was trembling slightly all over.

"Hermione, think of something, quick," Harry pleaded.

"I... I..."

Hermione was flustered too and had no idea what to do. She anxiously tugged at her hair. "Right, a calming draught. Give Ron a calming draught. He must have been frightened by that giant spider. I remember Ron is afraid of spiders."

"Do you have any calming draught?" Harry felt that was a stupid question.

"We should take Ron to the School Hospital immediately," Hermione said loudly. "I heard Madam Pomfrey has prepared a whole cauldron of calming draught."

"What happened?"

Mrs. Pince had noticed the commotion too. She crouched down to check Ron's condition.

"He must have been terrified. The Boggart turned into a giant spider and jumped on Ron. It scared him badly," Harry said breathlessly. "Ron is afraid of spiders."

"Take him to the School Hospital at once." Mrs. Pince stood and addressed several students watching nearby. "You lot, come lend a hand. Help take Mr. Weasley to the School Hospital."

Many students had seen the Boggart turn into Albert, then into a giant spider, frightening Weasley out of his wits.

The incident spread through the school like a plague.

Quite a few Slytherin students took delight in Ron's misfortune, especially Draco
