Missing

Generally speaking, Hogwarts students usually got up very late for breakfast on weekends.

However, today was the day to vote for the Triwizard Tournament Champions, and George got up much earlier than usual.

The moment he woke up, he found Albert's bed empty and realized that Albert might not have returned to sleep last night.

Though this had happened before, Albert usually asked the three of them in advance to feed the cat. Not coming back for the night without saying anything clearly meant something had happened.

George immediately woke Fred and Lee Jordan, who were still asleep.

"What the hell are you doing so early in the morning?" Fred complained, rubbing his eyes as he struggled to open them.

Lee Jordan, in the neighboring bed, raised a hand to cover a yawn, his face still heavy with unconcealed sleepiness.

"Did Albert tell either of you he wouldn't be coming back tonight?" George asked, reaching over to feel Albert's bed.

"No. Don't worry, it's not the first time. He probably went off on another date with his girlfriend." Fred covered another yawn, closed his eyes again, hunched his shoulders, and burrowed back beneath the blankets, ready to catch a second sleep.

"His girlfriend graduated last term." George frowned. If Isobel were still at school, that would have been quite possible.

"Maybe he's found himself a new girlfriend." Fred mumbled with his eyes shut. "After all, he's Albert. If he wanted another girlfriend, he could probably find one faster than we could change clothes."

"No need to worry about him. Just remember to feed his cat." Lee Jordan mumbled before lying back down.

Though he hated to admit it, George knew his concern was probably unnecessary. His gaze fell on Fat Cat Tom, who was dozing carefree in his cat bed.
