After November arrived, the temperature around Hogwarts plummeted, and the weather became bitterly cold. Snow could start falling at any moment.
Tom, as usual, lay on the cushion by the window, staring outside and contemplating the life of a cat.
A sudden crack echoed through the dormitory. When Tom turned his head, he discovered that his owner had appeared out of thin air.
"Meow!"
Tom climbed down from the cushion, ran to Albert's feet, and gently rubbed against them, meowing softly as if to say, Owner, I'm hungry.
"Did they forget to prepare your lunch?"
Albert looked suspiciously at the spoiled fat cat. After hesitating for a moment, he still got it some food. They would be having dinner before long anyway.
"Oh, right, I nearly forgot about that." Albert muttered, pulling on his cloak and heading outside.
It was cold beyond the castle, though fortunately it was not raining. Otherwise, Albert would never have wanted to leave the castle. He tightened his clothes around himself and headed toward Hagrid's Hunting Cabin.
Hearing the knock, Hagrid opened the door and greeted Albert with a smile. "Our Champion has finally found time to come visit me."
"I've been busy lately. Being famous comes with a whole pile of trouble, and I thought Potter would come see you. Things haven't been going too well for him lately." Albert bent down and rubbed Fang's head, then motioned for Hagrid to look outside. Several girls were peeking furtively in their direction, though it was unclear what they wanted.
"You're still as popular with the girls as ever." Hagrid smiled and stepped back, making room for Albert to enter.
"If I didn't have a girlfriend, I'd probably be very happy about it. Unfortunately, I already do." Albert drew his wand and gave it a light
