Most students looked at him as though he were some rare animal, and whenever he walked through the corridors, he could always see and hear a large group of girls giggling foolishly. At mealtimes, girls often turned to stare at him, while the bolder ones came to ask Albert for autographs with handkerchiefs, schoolbags, and books in hand. It irritated him to no end. This was probably the price of being popular.

Viktor Krum had been the first among them to adapt to his role as a Champion. He was already a famous Quidditch star and had plenty of experience dealing with enthusiastic fans.
