After Apparition Class, Albert followed behind the dejected students as they returned to Hogwarts Castle.
"I get the feeling Snape's looking at you funny," George warned in a low voice.
"Just ignore him. Even if he glares his eyes out, it won't do him any good." Albert gestured for them not to worry. Ever since he had politely declined Snape's "tutoring," the Potions Professor's attitude toward him had become rather unfriendly.
Well, it would be more accurate to say that Snape had never been friendly toward any student outside Slytherin.
But he would not make trouble for Albert over that matter.
Of course, even if he wanted to cause Albert trouble, it probably would not amount to anything. Snape surely understood that. There was no major conflict between them, so there was no need to make a big deal of it. Naturally, the matter was simply dropped.
"You're the only one who doesn't take him seriously." Fred chuckled. "Anyone else would be scared half to death if they ran into him."
Lee Jordan secretly glanced at Snape some distance away and shrugged. "Can't be helped."
"Careful he doesn't overhear you. He might find an excuse to give you detention."
"You know, that really is possible."
Fred, George, and Lee Jordan no longer attended Potions Class. As long as they did not crack jokes in front of Snape, there was nothing he could do to them.
As for the "tutoring," that naturally came to nothing as well.
That afternoon, Albert knocked on Professor Flitwick's office door at the appointed time.
"Have a seat, Mr. Anderson. What would you like to drink?" Professor Flitwick asked in his squeaky voice.
