In a secluded corner of the Hogwarts library, Albert frowned as he stared at the Defence Against the Dark Arts Manuscript he had compiled earlier. He found that much of it needed to be revised.
Ever since learning combat techniques from Professor Flitwick, he had developed new perspectives on certain matters. The Defence Against the Dark Arts Manuscript he had spent so much time writing now looked more like hollow theory piled high with flowery language.
Perhaps this was what they called growth.
Of course, Albert was in no hurry to revise his manuscript. Before he had learned all of Professor Flitwick's knowledge and experience, revising it would merely be preparation for revising it again later.
He pulled out a sheet of parchment and began recording his thoughts and understanding of certain matters, preparing for a comprehensive revision later.
"I hope I'm not disturbing you!"
At some point, Hermione had taken the seat to Albert's right and was studying what he was writing with interest.
Seemingly noticing someone's gaze, Albert looked up in its direction. After catching sight of a certain sports star behind a nearby bookshelf, he withdrew his gaze and turned back to Hermione with a smile. "How's your training going?"
"Great. I learned quite a lot of useful things from Sirius and Professor Lupin." Hermione lowered her voice and shared what had happened during their recent training in the Forbidden Forest.
Even though she and Ron had merely accompanied Harry during his training, they had learned plenty of useful things.
However, judging by Hermione's tone, she seemed to hope that Albert would join them as well and learn something useful from Black and Professor Lupin.
Albert could tell that Hermione meant well, so he merely smiled.
