"Hey, you three! What are you sneaking around for?"
Hagrid had just come out of the Hunting Cabin and was leading Harry, Hermione, and Ron into the forest when he spotted Fred, George, and Lee Jordan heading toward the edge of the Forbidden Forest. He bellowed at them.
"We're not sneaking around, or you wouldn't have seen us at all." Fred loudly corrected him as he watched the four people and one dog approach.
As if to prove he was not lying, Fred pulled his wand from his belt, cast a spell on himself, and vanished right before everyone's eyes.
"You lot..."
Hagrid nearly choked on his anger.
"A Disillusionment Charm?"
Hermione studied the spot where Fred had disappeared and raised an eyebrow.
"Yep." Fred reappeared.
"This spell is perfect for sneaking around at night. As long as you don't run into a professor, there won't be any problems." George grinned. "Filch doesn't know magic, so he can't see through a Disillusionment Charm. You can walk right around him."
"Want to learn?"
"You lot..."
Hermione glared at the three troublesome roommates.
"Ahem, what are you going into the forest for?" Hagrid asked. He was not about to let three dangerous troublemakers into the Forbidden Forest.
"Of course, we're going to watch the fight." Lee Jordan said as though it were obvious. "This is a rare opportunity. You should come too." Fred slipped his wand back into its holster.
"That thing's pretty nice. Where did you buy it?" Ron asked, staring at the wand holster on Fred's waist.
"No idea. Albert gave it to me as a birthday present a while back. It feels pretty good. If you want one, ask him yourself." Fred's tone shifted. "Though I doubt you'd buy one anyway."
To Ron, that might as well have been
