Ch. 846Getting Even

Luo Jun defeated the ancient Demon Beast Mosayus in Utopia, then used the Myriad Realms Gate Staff to travel to the Main World of the same era. There he found a Vital Energy cultivator and recognized the old man as Wan Guiyuan.

  • Luo Jun emerged from the lake and fought Mosayus, the giant snail he had encountered in his earlier life.
  • Luo Jun pierced Mosayus's head, survived its red beam attack, and battered the monster until it burrowed back into the lakebed.
  • Emperor Menehses and his ministers felt the distant tremors shake Amgilla City, then resumed their plans.
  • Luo Jun opened a gate to the Main World, explored its primitive settlements, and searched for the source of a Vital Energy fluctuation.
  • Luo Jun found a Gang Qi-wielding old man fishing beside a pond and recognized him as Wan Guiyuan.

Ch. 847A World with No Future

Luo Jun met an ancient Feather Transformation who had deliberately ended Vital Energy inheritance in God Forsaken Land to force humanity to develop independently. The old man warned that Luo Jun’s arrival had created a false timeline that could collapse soon, and Luo Jun rested while planning to find a way back.

  • Luo Jun met an elderly man who looked like an aged Wan Guiyuan and learned that he was God Forsaken Land’s last Feather Transformation.
  • The old man explained that he had killed those seeking to inherit Vital Energy because he believed humanity needed to develop beyond cultivation.
  • Luo Jun described the advanced future of God Forsaken Land, reassuring the old man that humanity had found a path forward.
  • The old man panicked upon learning that the Otherworld Gate had opened again and insisted Luo Jun must return to his own era.
  • The old man warned that Luo Jun’s presence had created a false timeline that could collapse within days and advised him to find the artifact or power that had brought him there.
  • Luo Jun accepted that he had at least twenty or thirty hours and sat down to rest before searching for a way back.

Ch. 848Annihilation Fire

Luo Jun completed the middle section of the Heartless Tribe technique and developed a Black Fire attack that could erase matter. Seeking a route back to his era, he followed the Dice of Heavenly Secrets to a volcanic lake, where pulling a metal pillar from the lakebed released an incomplete Divine Remains.

  • Luo Jun used his remaining dice rolls to open the meridians in his head and neck, then discovered his Black Fire could burn matter away completely, though it consumed his Mental Power and Vital Energy.
  • Luo Jun told Chu Yang he would make later generations remember him, then used the Gate of Myriad Realms to travel to a volcanic lake in [Utopia].
  • Luo Jun found a heartbeat-like vibration beneath a small island in the lake and uncovered dark gold metal beneath its volcanic rock.
  • Luo Jun used leverage and Moonlit Step to loosen and pull the metal pillar from the lakebed, revealing the presence of an incomplete Divine Remains.
  • The Divine Remains pushed the pillar out of the lake, and the pillar smashed through the volcanic crater as the lake drained into a vast vortex.

Ch. 849Star Calculation Engine

Luo Jun awakened the Star Calculation Engine and asked how he could return to his original spacetime. The Engine gave him a four-step plan and a half-finished Time Machine, and Luo Jun began completing it before the world was destroyed in sixty-eight hours.

  • Luo Jun entered the spherical chamber beneath the dried lake and awakened the Star Calculation Engine with the steam from the drained water.
  • The Star Calculation Engine examined Luo Jun and explained that he could either risk surviving the timeline's annihilation or attempt a difficult plan to return to his original spacetime.
  • The Engine revealed that a half-finished Time Machine needed four components and gave Luo Jun blueprints and metal to make them.
  • Luo Jun used his abilities to produce all four components with exceptional precision, surprising the Engine.
  • The Engine began explaining how to install the components, but Luo Jun immediately shoved one into the Time Machine.

Ch. 850Successful Return

Luo Jun returned to the main timeline after building and activating a Time Machine with the Star Calculation Engine, which sacrificed itself to finish a calculation before its world collapsed. In the Utopiya Royal Museum’s secret chamber, the awakened artifacts attacked him, and their powers combined into a Cat-faced Angel that Luo Jun began fighting.

  • Luo Jun installed and calibrated the Time Machine, then injected Vital Energy to return to the original time-space.
  • The Star Calculation Engine revealed that it had helped Luo Jun to leave something behind in the true timeline, then used its remaining time to finish a calculation before collapsing.
  • Luo Jun reappeared in the secret chamber beneath the Utopiya Royal Museum, where the stone slab crumbled and the other artifacts awakened.
  • The Great Angel attacked Luo Jun and crumbled when he met its punch, while the Ancient Soldier merged with the Crystal Skeleton and the Golden Cat fused with the angel’s remains to form a Cat-faced Angel.
  • Luo Jun used Mountain-Piercing Strike to bounce the Cat-faced Angel around the chamber without damaging the room.

Ch. 851Museum Relics Run Amok

Luo Jun drained the museum relics’ stored energy, then defeated the cat-faced monster after it absorbed the Holy See clergy’s power and stabilized. He returned to the courtyard with damaged relics and asked whether the Royal Museum would make him pay for them.

  • Luo Jun absorbed the resonating relics’ energy, weakened the cat-faced monster’s power supply, and leveled up while chasing it through the museum.
  • Luo Jun emerged into the museum and fought animated relics, collecting their essence with the Essence Collection Bottle and sending Ailongtan to deal with those in the air.
  • Luo Jun interrupted the Holy See clergy’s seal when the cat-faced monster began draining their life force, but the monster absorbed their energy and became stronger.
  • Luo Jun struck the monster with Mountain-Piercing Strike and drove the Obsidian Spear through it, breaking the museum’s protective barrier as they rose into the sky.
  • After the sky lit up and the monster was defeated, Luo Jun returned to the courtyard with damaged relics and asked Adam and the others whether he had to pay for them.
  • Ailongtan emerged from the museum and said he had handled the flying relics, then swept more relics outside with Wind Element.

Ch. 852Thunder God

Luo Jun left [Utopia] and traveled to the [Myth] Door, where Thunder God Zeus revealed his matter-altering ability and asked for help finding a missing disciple. Zeus said she had disappeared on Crete Island, home to the legendary King of the Minotaurs, Minotaurus.

  • Luo Jun collected the remaining essence from the subdued Flying Cultural Relics, restored Osiris with Vital Energy, and left [Utopia] for the [Myth] Door.
  • Luo Jun met Alcardes near the Mediterranean Islands, and Alcardes escorted him to Peanut Island to meet his teacher, Thunder God Zeus.
  • Zeus demonstrated that his ability could alter the nature of surrounding matter, creating lightning, changing wood into metal, and freezing tea into Ice Cola.
  • Zeus asked Luo Jun to help find a disciple who had disappeared in [Myth] the previous month.
  • Zeus said his investigation placed the disciple on Crete Island, where the dangerous King of the Minotaurs, Minotaurus, lived.

Ch. 853Myth World

Luo Jun agreed to help Zeus rescue his missing disciple from the Minotaurs of Crete Island in exchange for help obtaining materials for the Supreme Spirit Locking Pill. After cultivating in Yasen City, he set out with Sharon toward Crete Island, whose location was obscured by ancient mysterious power.

  • Zeus explained that the Minotaur King Minotaurus was a powerful fighter who possessed Gang Qi and a legendary instant-death curse, and said his disciple might have been swept onto Crete Island during a storm.
  • Luo Jun showed Zeus a list of needed materials, and Zeus identified Cerberus's poisonous drool and a giant Nature Gemstone in the Sanctuary as two of them.
  • Zeus offered to arrange for his people to collect Cerberus's drool and obtain a palm-sized piece of the Nature Gemstone, while Luo Jun agreed to rescue the disciple.
  • Luo Jun cultivated the Cultivation Middle Chapter, then entered the [Myth] World and met Sharon at the Main World's base in Yasen City.
  • Sharon explained that ancient power made Crete Island difficult to locate and led Luo Jun there on a Pegasus; after more than two hours of flight, they reached the sea.

Ch. 854Crete Island

Luo Jun and Sharon crossed the disorienting Endless Sea to reach Crete Island, where Luo Jun sought Helen in the Minotaur city. He challenged Minotaurus and was driven into the sea by the king’s Death Curse, which made Luo Jun feel the terror of death.

  • Sharon guided Luo Jun across the Endless Sea to Crete Island and gave him Zeus’s Stasis Capsule to use on Helen.
  • Luo Jun ignored Sharon’s advice to question Minotaurs on the outskirts and crashed into the center of their city, smashing the statue of Minotaurus.
  • The Minotaurs attacked Luo Jun, but his strikes knocked them down until Minotaurus emerged and challenged him to a fight below the city.
  • Minotaurus broke open the ground and led Luo Jun into a vast cavern, where it attacked him with an axe and unleashed a roar that filled him with fear.
  • Minotaurus forced Luo Jun through a passage into the Endless Sea, where Luo Jun recognized the sensation as the king’s Death Curse.

Ch. 855After-Sales Service

Luo Jun defeated Minotaurus, rescued Helen, and left Ailongtan to repair the Minotaurs’ homes as after-sales service. Back at the Temple of the Thunder God, he learned more about Helen, reached level 87 through cultivation, and then prepared to travel to the next world.

  • Luo Jun survived Minotaurus’s Death Curse and defeated the Minotaur King in a battle that caused massive explosions beneath the sea around Crete Island.
  • Luo Jun returned Helen to Sharon in the Stasis Capsule and explained that Minotaurus had agreed to let her go.
  • Luo Jun arranged for Ailongtan to repair Minotaurus’s damaged home and reshape the mountain, while the Minotaurs eagerly requested his elemental magic.
  • Luo Jun and Sharon returned to Yasen City and brought Helen to the Temple of the Thunder God, where Zeus and the disciples welcomed her.
  • Sharon explained that Helen could alter elemental metals, and Luo Jun wondered whether she might be connected to Zeus.
  • Luo Jun cultivated the Supreme Handbook, reached level 87, and decided to leave for the next world rather than stay for ten days.

Ch. 856[Natural Disaster]

Luo Jun entered the [Natural Disaster] world after hearing that two Emperor-level monsters had recently been killed by a powerful unknown being. At the laboratory, he met Ascended Expert Scarlett and told her he had come to hunt an Emperor-level monster; she said suitable prey was available.

  • Luo Jun arrived at the military base guarding the [Natural Disaster] Gate, where Bull Bill escorted him inside.
  • Bull Bill explained that Kraken and Atlas had awakened and been killed by an unknown being whose power exceeded the Ascension limit.
  • Luo Jun recognized that the two monsters had been killed by the replica BOSS he had encountered earlier.
  • Luo Jun entered [Natural Disaster] and burned away Scarlett's mental probe before she summoned him to the rooftop.
  • Scarlett discussed how cultivation could improve appearance, and Luo Jun said he wanted to hunt an Emperor-level monster.
  • Scarlett told Luo Jun that suitable prey was currently available.

Ch. 857Transaction

Luo Jun learned that killing more Emperor-level monsters could damage [Natural Disaster], but Scarlett sent him to defeat Behemoth, the strongest monster, whose death was believed to pose no such risk. Meanwhile, Yuan Shouzhen delivered a treasured item to his former disciple, who shut him inside the Dining Hall.

  • Scarlett explained that Emperor-level monsters were tied to [Natural Disaster] and that their deaths had already caused climate and geological changes.
  • Scarlett identified Behemoth as an Emperor-level monster immune to Special Abilities and sent Luo Jun to the Goddess of Life Ruins, which Behemoth guarded.
  • Luo Jun took the satellite navigation device and flew toward Behemoth while Scarlett arranged for nearby troops to withdraw.
  • Yuan Shouzhen met his former disciple in a Dining Hall, and they argued over whether violence was the ultimate purpose of life.
  • Yuan Shouzhen handed over the treasured item his former disciple had requested, and the disciple shut the doors and plunged the Dining Hall into darkness.

Ch. 858Goddess of Life Ruins

Luo Jun entered the Goddess of Life Ruins by sneaking through an opening beneath the sleeping Behemoth’s arm and discovered murals that revealed the Goddess of Life had created the Heartless Tribe and designed their cultivation methods. As he searched the murals for more clues, he recognized a monster depicted in one image but had not yet identified where he had seen it.

  • Luo Jun found the sleeping Behemoth blocking the ruins’ entrance and used its sneeze to slip through an opening beneath its upper arm.
  • Luo Jun explored the underground chamber and found murals depicting the Goddess of Life, her creations, and a human with unusual meridians.
  • Luo Jun recognized the meridian pattern as the Heartless Tribe cultivation method and compared the murals with the Supreme Handbook.
  • Luo Jun concluded that the Goddess of Life may have created the Heartless Tribe to establish a separate cultivation system and wondered whether she predated the Supreme Handbook’s author.
  • Luo Jun examined another mural showing a monster and suddenly remembered where he had seen its image before.

Ch. 859Divine Rank

Luo Jun explored the Goddess of Life’s temple, fought Behemoth, and took a small sample of its brain matter before returning to Scarlett. He suspected the temple held secrets that had triggered the monsters’ awakening, and left for [Deep Space] after Scarlett warned him about its vast scale and dangers.

  • Luo Jun recalled a mural of a human god battling a beast god and wondered whether the beast god resembled a monster created by the Goddess of Life.
  • Behemoth awakened and attacked Luo Jun, destroying the Goddess Temple as he escaped its blows and entered its mouth.
  • Luo Jun wounded Behemoth from inside its head and collected a small bottle of its brain matter before flying away unharmed.
  • Luo Jun told Scarlett that Behemoth had destroyed the temple and suggested it had done so to conceal its secrets and respond to the company’s research.
  • Luo Jun said he planned to travel to [Deep Space], and Scarlett warned him that the world’s scale, technology, and hidden dangers made it exceptionally perilous.

Ch. 860Maintainer Team?

Scarlett warned Luo Jun that [Deep Space] was likely maintained by a hidden team and that provoking its powers could threaten the Main World. Luo Jun passed through the heavily guarded [Deep Space] Gate and arrived at a vast estate belonging to the Hailuo Family.

  • Scarlett explained that [Deep Space] was likely managed by multiple Maintainers and warned Luo Jun to avoid provoking forces that could endanger the Main World.
  • Luo Jun reasoned that the Goddess of Life had ordered Behemoth to destroy the Goddess Temple because altering history carried a cost, then resolved to act cautiously in Different Worlds.
  • Luo Jun flew to the Federation Space Administration, where Rabitt explained the precautions taken to conceal and protect the [Deep Space] Gate.
  • After passing through the Gate, Luo Jun arrived at a fortified woodland estate publicly presented as a private residence of the Hailuo Family.

Ch. 861Tourist Destination?

Luo Jun visited the Hailuo Family in [Deep Space] to obtain insect eggs and learned about the powerful Tyrant Insectoid eggs he was seeking. He secured a travel pass and a guide, Louise, and set off by airship toward the moon to begin exploring other planets.

  • Reinhardt explained that the Hailuo Family could quickly provide ordinary insect eggs from its research institute, and Luo Jun questioned whether they matched his goal.
  • Reinhardt identified the rare Tyrant Insectoid and described its exceptional eggs, strength, and threat to the Galactic Federation; Luo Jun concealed his interest and requested ordinary eggs instead.
  • Luo Jun asked to visit other planets, and Reinhardt arranged a Black Gold Level travel pass and assigned Louise to guide him.
  • Luo Jun recognized Louise as an Insight Faction monitor but accepted her company and boarded a Hailuo Family airship with her.
  • Louise piloted the autonomous airship as it took off from Earth and headed toward the moon.

Ch. 862Being a Tour Guide Isn't Easy Either

Luo Jun traveled with Louise to Delta Second Planet, where she kept close watch on him while showing him around the Ocean Planet. As Louise reflected on why she had been assigned to accompany him, the chapter left the reason for Luo Jun’s trip—and his plans—unclear.

  • Louise explained the Star Net’s role in travel and the tangled territories of the Insectoids and Anti-Insectoid Alliance as she and Luo Jun flew toward Delta Second Planet.
  • During the seven-hour flight, Luo Jun enjoyed the ship’s comforts while comparing the goddess’s Heartless Tribe cultivation art with the Supreme Handbook and making steady progress.
  • At the orbital spaceport, a short, plump uncle bumped into Louise while she watched Luo Jun in the restroom, and Luo Jun later boarded the surface shuttle with her.
  • Louise took Luo Jun sightseeing across the Ocean Planet for three days and kept him under constant surveillance.
  • Louise recalled that Manager Reinhardt had assigned her to monitor Night because his intentions were unclear and she was the strongest member of the Insight Faction there.

Ch. 863Problems and a Deal

Louise discovered that the person posing as Night was Aishiliya, who revealed that the real Night had already left for another star region. Aishiliya pressured Louise into keeping the deception secret, and Louise agreed to continue as if nothing had happened.

  • Louise realized that Night was an impostor after noticing the woman’s habit of sitting before using the toilet.
  • Louise attacked Aishiliya, who transformed from a mouse, subdued her, and frightened her with a near-fatal wound.
  • Aishiliya explained that she was Night’s servant and had taken his place while he traveled beyond the star system without using a spaceship.
  • Louise questioned why Aishiliya would spare her, and Aishiliya warned that reporting the switch could damage Louise’s standing with the Hailuo Company.
  • Louise agreed to conceal the truth and asked whether Mister Ye was in the room, prompting Aishiliya to answer in Luo Jun’s voice.

Ch. 864The Strongest Stowaway in History

Luo Jun stowed away on spacecraft to reach the Epsilon Third Planet, where he hoped to find a Tyrant Insect Egg or a more advanced insect base. He plunged through the planet’s bombardment into its surface, leaving Alliance pilots startled by the impact.

  • A Zetan inspector glimpsed a flash resembling an Earthling clinging to a spacecraft but dismissed it after the scans found nothing.
  • Luo Jun avoided the station, followed a departing warship, and endured Spatial Turbulence with his Saint's Body as it crossed the Star Net.
  • Luo Jun identified the Epsilon Third Planet as a likely place to find a Tyrant Insect Egg and learned that a Mineral Vein there amplified insectoid wormholes.
  • Luo Jun arrived at the besieged planet and decided the wormhole’s insect base might hold what he sought.
  • Luo Jun accelerated through the bombardment and struck the planet, creating a huge crater and a deep hole that confused the warship pilots.

Ch. 865Special Operations Team

A Special Operations Team entered an underground Insectoid nest to find the Empress, but a Titan Scorpion killed Edgar and Li Na as the survivors fled into a hidden chamber. They discovered a vast corpse warehouse that might connect to the Empress, only for the wounded Titan Scorpion to enter after them.

  • The captain led his squad through the bug hole, where they killed a concealed Insectoid and continued toward the Queen's location.
  • A Titan Scorpion emerged from the ceiling and chased the squad, cutting Edgar in half and killing Li Na.
  • The captain, the Bearded Veteran, and the new recruit escaped into a narrow branch tunnel that opened onto a dark spherical chamber.
  • The squad found a mountain of Anti-Insectoid Alliance corpses and concluded the chamber could be a food warehouse connected to the Empress and her Tyrant Insect Eggs.
  • The wounded Titan Scorpion crawled into the chamber through an opening in the ceiling.
