Kohei first appears in the group chat under the username “Otaku of the Diving Club,” where he reacts furiously to Illya being targeted and jokingly offers Iori’s lifespan for a chance to enter the beta. The two later recognize one another’s identities, beginning their loud but close rivalry. 90 99
