Background

The Ye Family originated as a major clan in the Tianxuan Spirit Domain of the Spirit Realm. At its height, it had three Integration-stage cultivators, but the exposure of its Beast Communication secret drew an assault by the Jade Soul Clan. Internal human conflict and covetous forces seeking the Profound Heaven Blood Treasure compounded the disaster; most of the clan perished, while survivors fled to the Lower Realm with the Beast Communication Tower. 991

In the Great Yu Cultivation World, the family preserved part of the Beast Wasteland inheritance and joined the Eight Desolations Sect for less than a century before that sect encountered disaster.
