Background / History

The Crimson Flame Fox was initially brought to Ye Jingcheng severely injured, with a blackened wound on its foreleg and weakened cries. Ye Jingcheng used the Yellow-Covered Ancient Book’s spiritual light to heal it; after repeated treatment, its wound faded to a small scar and it began affectionately licking his arm. During this process, Ye Jingcheng’s Blood Pact seemingly completed through the ancient book rather than by ordinary means. 3

The ancient book revealed an evolution path involving rare fire-attribute herbs and displayed the fox’s potential two-tailed form. Ye Jingcheng subsequently devoted substantial resources, pills, and Treasure Light to its recovery and advancement. Within a month, the fox had fully recovered, developed powerful fireballs, and displayed exceptional speed and intelligence. 3 5

Its fire affinity made it central to Ye Jingcheng’s alchemy. It could heat pill furnaces more quickly than an Earth Fire Room and respond to its master’s thoughts through their soul contract, allowing precise temperature control during refinement. 17 18

After evolving into a twin-tailed fox, it was recognized as a spirit beast with the potential to reach the Purple Mansion realm.
