After Tang Hao defeated and severely injured him, she seized the opportunity to kill her husband in revenge. Qiandao Liu knew she was responsible, but appointed her Pope nonetheless: Qian Renxue was still an infant, and Bibi Dong was the available successor capable of stabilizing Spirit Hall 11 153 155.

Qiandao Liu initially regarded her as a transitional figure rather than an independent ruler. Bibi Dong gradually built her own faction, recruiting Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo and extending her influence through Spirit Hall's middle and lower ranks.
