Thor's return was undoubtedly a shot in the arm.
Aside from Loki, whose expression had stiffened, everyone else crowded around Thor, pinching him here, grabbing him there, asking after his well-being.
"Thor, you still haven't regained your divine power, but what world do these fine fellows you brought come from? I've never heard of their race!"
"Hmm, judging by appearances alone, there's a beauty to the killing nature of this species."
"Exactly. I get the same feeling. They look like they were born solely for battle."
Everyone present had at least several centuries of combat experience and had seen all kinds of creatures from countless planets across the Nine Realms.
Furthermore, Asgard's libraries held records on innumerable civilizations beyond the Nine Realms.
Yet among all these people, not one could identify what these creatures were.
And why had they come with Thor?
"These are Xenomorphs, reinforcements I invited from Midgard!" Thor said excitedly.
Reinforcements from Midgard?
Everyone exchanged glances.
They knew Midgard must have powerful individuals, but it had always existed as a mortal world and was habitually overlooked.
"Look at their bodies. Their heads are long, so their defense should be formidable. They're tall and built for combat."
Volstagg, the burliest man present, immediately grew excited. He loved dealing with powerful warriors, especially now that war had broken out.
Hogun, one of the Warriors Three, simply hefted his hammer and attacked a relatively robust Xenomorph.
Whoosh! The hammer smashed forward.
In an instant, the Xenomorph that had been standing motionless reacted. It stretched out an arm and caught the hammer, then its sharp tail shot forward.
A look of surprise crossed Hogun's face. He freed one hand and seized the Xenomorph's tail from the side.
But the next second, at such close range, the Xenomorph opened its mouth and
