Magneto and Professor X Take Notice

As they watched, they were astonished.

"This guy has so many abilities!"

"Instant Teleportation plus that black energy attack, and the cops can't do anything to him?"

"He does seem pretty capable..."

While mutants around the world watched the video in surprise, Scott entered the room where Professor X was staying at X-Academy and showed him the footage.

Watching the young man's Mutant Abilities in the video, Professor X praised him. "This child's abilities all have great potential."

Cyclops Scott, standing nearby, nodded in agreement.

Though none of the young man's abilities seemed particularly overpowered, they included both support and offense. With training, they could become even stronger. He truly had potential.

He could also use Teleportation to reach certain special locations, and if the black energy's accuracy improved, its offensive power could take down enemies they were unable to handle.

Scott was already imagining what it would be like if the young man joined the academy and supported them in battle.

Professor X shared much the same thought. "Scott, we can try contacting this child and see whether we can recruit him into the school..."

Scott nodded, then stopped paying attention to the young man and brought up another matter.

"Professor, we still haven't found the person you asked me to look for—the one suspected of possessing an Omega Level Mutant Ability."

Professor X frowned at the news and sighed. "Find him as soon as possible. Erik has also been making some moves lately. I suspect he's received some information. We must find that child before he does."

Cyclops Scott frowned as well, immediately suspecting Mystique.

He suspected that Mystique had once again disguised herself as someone else and infiltrated X-Academy, which was why the information had leaked.

There was no other way. They could only try to find that person before Magneto's people did.

He did not dare imagine the destruction that would result if an Omega Mutant truly joined the Brotherhood of Mutants.

Thinking of the Omega Mutant Charles had spoken of, even Magneto's eyes revealed surprise and interest.

What kind of Omega Mutant was the one his old friend Charles had mentioned? Even he and Charles could at most be considered Level 4 Mutants.

And a Level 5 Mutant—especially the most exceptional kind, an Omega Mutant—made him even more curious.

A strong interest rose within him.

While the two major mutant factions prepared to search for someone, Su Yao was staring at a room with a frown.

After leaving that dark alley, he had changed locations again before looking for somewhere to stay, eventually finding this place.

However, not only was the room dirtier and messier than Chris's place, it also carried a rotten smell.

After the man left, Su Yao dropped onto the hard bed. Feeling how utterly exhausted his body was, he could not help sighing.

He opened the panel and glanced at it. When he looked at the lifespan section, even his exhausted mind eased slightly.

It clearly showed that he had twenty-nine days of life remaining! "My estimated lifespan really increased!"

Su Yao's spirits lifted.

When he had gained another ability earlier, his lifespan had increased by one day. Now that both abilities had risen to Level 2, his lifespan had indeed increased again! Or perhaps it was because the Light Energy in his body had changed and suppressed some of his physical deterioration, which was why his lifespan had increased.

Even so, it meant that as long as he continued improving, he might be able to live for a long time! Hope rose in Su Yao's heart, but he also could not help wanting more.

"Ah, if only I had an ability like self-healing. Even if I had Cancer Cells in my body, a healing factor could suppress them."

Su Yao could not help thinking of Deadpool. Deadpool had originally suffered from cancer, but because he obtained Wolverine's healing factor, he was able to live without issue.

After some time, the landlord, Gary, returned from buying groceries.

After handing him a thirty-dollar tip, Su Yao began unpacking the self-heating meal.

Once he finished eating, he carefully locked the doors and windows. Only after making sure no one could open them without making a sound did he finally go to sleep in peace.

Time passed...

The moon set, and the sun rose.

Blinding sunlight streamed in through the window, waking the sleeping Su Yao.

Unfortunately, he couldn't savor the feeling for long. He had to get up and leave this place as soon as possible.

After quickly eating, he left without saying goodbye to the landlord, slipping away without a sound.

Su Yao wore a brand-new outfit, a black cap, and a white mask as he swiftly moved through the secluded streets.

Along the way, he tried his best to walk wherever the sunlight could reach.
